I need to know a few things about soloadcampaigns.com
Here is my case:

Bought a $99 solo ad campaign one week ago.
Said it would go live on wedenesday night.
Checked my stuff in the morning, nothing!
Waited a day, still nothing.

Contacted them about it, said i already received 298 hits?
HUH???? No way, i'm using a tracker on my Vps for this project and i didn't get any hits.
Plus, the offer i'm using is converting like crazy and of course, got no optins.

They got back to saying:
"I believe the problem is the redirect. We have a tracking redirect to track ip addresses which may be causing the issue . Can you remove the redirect."

ME:
I have been online since 1997, doing various web marketing things.
I don't understand why it cannot work?
Every serious marketers, use a tracking software!

I cannot remove the redirect anyways as it is the tracking software.
I cannot create a page on my server mydomain.com/go.php?a=thd7jiprk and put content in it

Now i recall the canned messages from organicprospects i got and that some of you received, about the tracker thingo. We also got them from other sites like organics that are probably ALL interrelated (same guys?)
Got replies from a certain john@soloemailcampaigns.com and guess what? It outputs a blank page if you go to the main domain!

Anyone into the same boat? Saw the ad on Google, looking for solo ad providers. They are using ADWORDS to promote their stuff.

It even shows up on this board!

Looks like a complete scam to me, i mean just look at their website claims

Forbe's Magazine ranked #1  - Does Forbes rank solo ad services now?!

Trusted by ebay, pizza hut, amazon, dominoes, etc  - Looks like they just grabbed random company logos and decided

to make it appear like these companies support or buy advertising from them. That is even less believable...

I'm 100% SURE that they are scammers.

Oh man, i just can't believe i felt for this one after being online for soooooooooo long

Arghhhhhh. I feel like a fool!

You're not a fool, it's just part of the good, bad and ugly which all go together on our road to success!

Just mark it down as another lesson learned and request a refund. :)

I just asked for a refund. I think it's only the third time, after almost 20 years online

We'll see!

Check this out guys:

"We mask your email links and redirect traffic to them. This is to protect you against spam complaints and to also enable us to track the clicks. The downside is that many tracking counters will not count redirected traffic because they cannot determine the source."

YEAH RIGHT!

Yep, I have had that problem before using a tracker and/or cloaker. I had to use the natural link without the cloaker and tracker with that site and similar sites.

One has to be VERY choosy when choosing Solo Ad providers.... you need someone with a proven track record like Maryanne Myers....

If you message me, I'll provide you with a link as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it here?

Maryanne Myers is not what I would call a 'solo ad provider'.  Real solo ad providers provide clicks from their email list for a price while Maryanne, and soloadcampaigns.com, send your ad to their database of members.  Guaranteed clicks from an interested party is always better (and more expensive) than from someone clicking to earn credits for a text ad/viral mailer.

Well, well well...

Guy signs up, post one time and guess what?

IT'S THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD.

Same technique used in many web marketing boards.

New accounts and/or accounts with a few posts and posting good reviews.

Pathetic...

  • 2 weeks later...

I signed up for an ad campaign with them after speaking with "John." Got no results. None. Supposedly they sent out more than 160,000 emails but not a single response. Highly unlikely. I get at least one "unsubscribe" responses from 1,000 emails on my own. A week after demanding proof of emails sent, inquiries to john@soloemailcampaigns.com and infoproducts2001@yahoo.com got no responses.

They claim my website's visitor log shows proof of the emails sent. However, I can play with IP addresses to ping my own website from anywhere on earth. That doesn't prove any emails were sent.

I requested a refund today. Will post an update, as appropriate, with more information if needed.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Hopefully others will know to stay away from that site now. Good luck on the refund!

It seems like there are a number of "solo ads providers" out there. They seem to either send to their own membership or send to "lists". I would suggest that, before you join any of them and engage their services, check them out. Do your due diligence and find out as much as you can about them. It may save you some grief and otherwise wasted money in the end.

One of the things that has bothered me about this industry is that I seem to be seeing the same people come up with repackaged versions of the same idea. Anybody got any thoughts on this?

I am the same, I have lots of mailers and PTRs, I have been growing a mini-network for 6 months and spent 18 months prior. Have only received an approx. referral intake of 8 and I don't think any are still with me or earned me any more than $4 in total. I think that a lot of people want to earn and not spend, therefore, are just looking and not even reading or as much as reading and comparing. I think buying in leads to the best loyal referrals but still, don't get your hopes up too high.

People want cheap and earnings and in the meantime, they need something very cheap to buy sometimes and something that is easy to acquire.

Additionally to my affiliate experience (of approx. 70 different sites in 3 years), I have re-invested other than what I mention I have drawn but as far as buying into mailing ventures, I would treat this as a bonus for myself and keep myself set on free memberships.

I don't know how your experiences might differ from mine but on a basic level, this is the answer in such a vast network, internationally.
