Hi Fellow MC Members and Guests,

Tommie Kirkland (Captkirk) here...

Like so many before me, Paypal has decided to close my account like hundreds, perhaps thousands, of business accounts...

This is the email that I received from them:

"Dear Tommie Kirkland,

We have recently reviewed your PayPal account activity, and determined that
you are in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy regarding your sales
/ offers on http://postit4free.com/.

Please refer to:
- Transaction 88F118654A264063X  from March 04, 2017 for the amount of $10.00

As a result, your account has been permanently limited and this cannot be
appealed.

Per the PayPal User Agreement, which you read and accepted when you created
your account, we reserve the right to permanently limit an account due to
an Acceptable Use Policy violation. We may hold any available balance in
your PayPal account for up to 180 days. In addition, you may be liable for
any amount of damages PayPal incurs for each violation of the Acceptable
Use Policy.

To read more about your liability, the actions we may take and other
relevant information pertaining to the PayPal User Agreement, please refer
to the following URL:
https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=ua/UserAgreement_full&locale.x=en_US

Please remove all references to PayPal from your website/s and/or
auction/s. This includes not only removing PayPal as a payment option, but
also the PayPal logo and PayPal shopping cart.

The PayPal User Agreement states that PayPal  reserves the right to limit
an account for any violation of the PayPal User Agreement, including the
Acceptable Use Policy.

Under the Acceptable Use Policy, PayPal may not be used to send or receive
payments that support pyramid or ponzi schemes, certain ad pack programs,
certain pay to click programs, matrix programs, "get rich quick" schemes,
or certain multi-level marketing (MLM) programs. In addition, only approved
MLM programs may be allowed.

You can view the complete PayPal Acceptable Use Policy by clicking the
"Legal" link at the bottom of any PayPal page and clicking "PayPal
Acceptable Use Policy". You can also find some more information on the
PayPal Acceptable Use Policy on our Help Center.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have any questions,
please contact the PayPal Brand Risk Management Department at
aup@paypal.com.

Sincerely,
Gerard

Hi Tommie,

Is postit4free your website or you earned it as an affiliate?

I think instant payments is one way to get shut down even if you don't own the site.

BTW, It's not an instant pay. I'm the only that get paid from the members that upgrade their ad.

i think member pay you buy the ads, after you pay member because commission.Just like Matrix Program or ??

Members do not get paid cash for up grading their ads. There's no cash incentive other than making your ad stand out among the other ads on the page that didn't upgrade their ads. Upgraded ads are bigger and you can include a banner in your ad.

If a bank closed accounts like paypal does, they would be out of business..now that enough of us are refusing to use them for anything else we'll see if they come around

I don't see any chance they come around, but at this point I don't care even if they did - I am getting into the groove of using other services. We were too reliant on PayPal.

Yep, it's relief for me not to wonder if and when PayPal were going to close my account after each sale that I made.

I am sorry for you Tommie but that is not the end of the world.  There are many other money processors available..  Even with the current bitcoin the transaction for sell/buy is so convenient.   What money processor will you be using for your programs, Tommie?

Don't be sorry, I'm relieved. The main processors that I use is Payza! I don't have any concerns when I make a sale with Payza like I did with PayPal. Since everyone seen to be losing their account with PayPal, Sales are coming it great using Payza now!

Frankly, as an online marketer, I can post ads in peace instead of worrying if PayPal was going to limit my account.

I say good riddance to PayPal as an upline marketer...

Now that a lot of people has had their account limited they have to offer alternate payments methods that others can use to promote their programs, products and services...

I feel the same! it is freeing and not the daily "Is the limited email from Paypal in my email box today?" thought while logging in for the morning. Every. Single.Day. since 2003 (when they first got me). Now, I dont think about it and dont have to create sites around what might make them get me, or who I might send a payment to that might make them get me even, or if I withdraw too little, or too much or sudden spike in sales, or too little sales over the summer.. .yada... yada... etc. etc  It seems everyone has moved on and use other things. Besides, on the outter part of our little realm - Paypal is considered old, and is rated the internets "Most hated Company" almost every year. I think one year they were number 4 or something. otherwise, its #1
