Do You Prefer To Use Splash Pages Or Capture Pages? - Why?

If I had to pick one it would be capture pages - you've got their name and email address.  How easy is that......

I prefer capture pages. Even though people recommend splashpages on TEs, if you have a catchy capture page, people will still register to the offer during their surfing without being redirected and having yet another window fade opened...

After testing a lot, capture pages works best for my offers.

without a doubt capture pages. with just a splash page you have no real way of following up with them but with a capture page you can get their email and follow up with them.

Hi All,

I like short doorway/splash pages that redirects to the capture page.  These are especially good in Traffic Exchanges where you need to get a person's attention fast.

I agree David.  I think we need both.  I would like to point out the importance of the last part of your statement, "You need to get a person'e attention Fast"   YES ! YES ! YES!  And not just in TEs.  In everything !!!!!

I prefer that rare combination of a splash page that grabs immediate attention and summarises the key points of the program AND also allows surfers to sign up quickly and easily on the spot.

That way you're not relying on follow-ups to get people to join. It's great to build a list, but if it's done in such a way that it stops people joining your program on the initial landing page, is it really an advantage or just adding extra steps to achieve your primary objective?

I prefer splash pages, it gives more interaction with the visitors

Having your own Roku TV channel gives you and your clients:

  • Income from day 1. In a click or two you setup the TV advertising. Get paid straight into your PayPal account.
  • Authority. Be the leader in your industry. This otherwise takes 5 year or more, but only weeks with the TV channel.
  • Traffic. New Roku TV channels typically receive up to 10,000 subscribers in the first month alone, simple because they’re there – without any promotion whatsoever.

Hi all

I must say that in some cases splashes works better-eye catching get the attraction

But as getting leads and build a team or trust capture pages are really great-but I think not just any capture pages.

I have been tested several autoresponders and several sites to create capture pages as well.

As we know not everything works for everybody.

You just need to what fit for you the best.

Using a capture page and actually getting a name and email is NOT a given. If that is your objective, then it's the easy choice, but if your final objective is making money or building resources, then a splash page often works better.

I don't like capture pages... I don't like giving my information just to see a program that I really not interested in joining.

I Prefe Splash Pages over Capture pages...

But I rather promote the site over the Splash pages and Capture Pages...
