It's Easy to Be Successful in Network Marketing

Recommended Posts

And that's because there is so little competition.

When 500 distributors are invited to attend a three-hour company training workshop - why is it that only 50 will attend? Where are the other 450?

They feel that investing time in training and working their MLM business interferes with their daily cable television schedule. When their small bonus checks arrive at the end of the month, they say:

"The business doesn't work, the checks are too small."

Or -

"The check got smaller all by itself."

Well, they are partially right. The business doesn't work - they have to do the work. Ouch! That's really inconvenient.

And, "The check got smaller all by itself?" No, the bonus check only reflects the sales volume of one's downline organization.

There are three types of people in MLM:

1. Those who joined because they love the products.

2. Those who want to receive bonus checks, if it doesn't require work.

3. Those who want to earn a bonus check.

Type 3, those who want to earn a bonus check, represent only a small percentage of all networkers. Most networkers will give great lip service to the idea that they want to earn bonus checks, but their actions speak louder than words. They are easy to recognize by their actions. They . . .

can't go to opportunity meetings because "The Simpsons" have a special episode that evening;

won't go to opportunity meetings because they attended one once before and they already know the ending;

won't make phone appointments because the prospect might say no;

wish the company would make it easier for them by lowering prices or do their retailing for them;

won't make up a prospecting list because everyone they know just wouldn't be interested; and

wish beer was served at the training meetings.

The great part about networking is that 95% of all networkers fall into product users and people who wish for bonus checks.

That means there is little or no competition for dedicated leaders who want to earn their way in this great business. That's why it is so easy to work and earn large bonus checks in network marketing -- there's no competition at the top!

Distributors and prospects are naturally attracted to leaders who lead by example. Good network marketing leaders don't have to prospect for new distributors -- distributor prospects come to them.

You'll always hear the non-working network marketing distributors say: "How is it that my upline leader gets all the good prospects?"

Because prospects look for leaders - not non-workers.

Can you imagine a prospect saying:

"I think I'll find a sponsor who whines, complains, and doesn't work the business."

No way. Good prospects look for energetic, enthusiastic, dedicated, working sponsors.

So, if you want to work where you'll encounter little competition, start at the top. Be a leader.

Thanks Rudi for that great article. I would also like to add my bit here.

In my years of experience in internet marketing I believe there are additional reasons for people finding their online business does not work.

1. Lack of understanding what the business entails. Recruiting affiliates to help increase your business through leverage.

2. Working with your recruits and training them to duplicate what you taught them, to their own downlines, referrals ect.

3. The myth which those so called GURUS make most people looking to earn online, believe that there is a large large cashpot which they could draw from.

4. The time it takes to be successful online is measured by your experience, commitment and knowledge of your niche market.

Like you said most people do not want to miss their favorite program but some of the people who invite others to their online businesses only see that person as a cash pot.

I strongly believe in Zig Zigler's statement "You can get everything you want if you help enough others get what they want"

Thank you. People not having the spirit of helping each other, don't succeed.

This seems to be the right place for helping one another. After-all the way things work everything is cyclical, or repeats. So, if one chooses not to be giving a hand to another who needs it, how then can it turn back?

I know this one from first hand experience.

Thanks for the honesty

So far  has not been real easy for me. I have made a few nickels and pennies a few spots. I once made 99.00$ selling commission fast start at clicksure.com,there minimum pay out is 250.00$ and no matter how much I tried to make more sales with them it just could not be done. So after a certain amount of time I quit getting sales, my 99.00$ started dissolving down by a certain out each day until finally the money I had made was gone. Is that fair or what? After this happened I quit promoting for clicksure and closed out my account with nothing to show for it. From what I can tell you have to be a seasoned veteran affiliate or a absolute conman to make money with clicksure. My opinion of clicksure is they are not worth a crap and I would never suggest anyone to join them at all.

I do not know why you gave me a warning mister admin because I did not say anything vulger believe me I could have been down right aweful. I still believe that clicksure is for the seasoned affiliate marketer and not the newbie,thats what I am, again I would never suggest anyone to promote any thing for clicksure. I apologize for my comments I guess some of the people here are die hard clicksure believers but again I am not. I could say allot more about clicksure but I better not it makes me mad about what they did. People like that are gonna pay for their sins against men and women they take advantage of when the lord comes back to take us home. :) Again I am sorry

Nice post but there are a few things I'd like to add. Not everyone who is a failure in IM is lazy. A huge majority is the victim of misguidance and the Tabloid-ish claims by Gurus about making tons of cash in a few weeks. I consider myself successful but I get emails and messages from newbies or from those who tried but failed. They tell me that they followed the instructions of gurus exactly as they were asked to bus still...

I'm not saying that every IM teacher is out there to ripoff newbies but you have to agree, there is a lot of scam too.

I agree, network marketing is easy. But so many people fail at it because the lack of training and guidance. And when they fail they blame everything and of course label it a scam. but network marketing is one of the easiest and most rewarding professions out there. one of the most important things in the profession is to learn how to become a master listener and inviter. thats it you master that and you are golden. don't push anything on anyone people don't like that. just ask questions and listen for response then invite. and you are good to go.

Nice piece of insight Rudy! I do believe that when a person first has an idea that they would like to make money from home using their computer as the vehicle to make this happen, they get caught up in the hype of someone convincing them that it will be very easy and almost change their daunting situation overnight, which most experienced marketers know will never happen because this is work and dedication, testing and re-investment. Most of those who are looking for a quick fix to their situation will eventually quit and exclaim that everything is a hoax or scam since they unfortunately did not have success. Nice read, thanks

Wow Rudi, great article!

Today's prospect has so much choice that they run around like a headless chicken looking for that elusive pot of gold. The problem with them is that they becomes "extremely uncomfortable in trying to learn the system" that they are getting involves with by asking questions on the various shortcuts available from the members of their forum.

They are not only freebies seeker, they became "shortcuts seekers" or "answers seekers" in the hope to make money online fast or overnight. C'mon! It's a no brainer that you need to work to get your due dilligence! Even trying your best to win money on the roulette table in a casino is still work for me.

If you really want to make money without forking out any cash then EFFORT on your part is still necessary to make it a success. Is there really such an opportunity where you don't need cash upfront, of course there are plenty! The ONLY question is, "How much effort are you going to put it to make that money?"

Cheers! :D

Mlm is such a hot topic and has bad press in a lot of countrys.Beware of seminars/workshops that really are just there for recruiting and selling more product.There may be good marketing advise given but really you need to be your own person and do not depend on your upline.There is so much marketing advise and systems all FREE to read.Maybe create your own marketing systems and methods and be consistant in your marketing the you can duplicate it to your downlines.

Some people just poke around at MLM and, when they don't become instant millionaires, they give up. Amongst the many attributes you need here is persistence (smile).  have a good one, John.

Yeah I agree, without passion, purpose and enthusiasm nothing will change, Maybe the ones who poke around decide its not for them and thats ok. I'd rather work hard for a few years at something I love than for the rest of my life at something that barely helps me get by, I like the excitement, fun and long term rewards.

Seriously Offline MLM programs have a bad name here.  Talk about creating rift between family and friends.  The problem is they gather people in a deceptive way saying they will get you a job, etc.  People fall for it without knowing what they are into.  Then inside a room brainwashing starts.
