Hi,

I'm Brady from Malaysia. I work as a grid operator in my state. I'm here because I want to connect with like-minded people who want to make money online and quit their daily job. I'm excited to learn from each one of you here. Have a lovely day.

I never introduced myself.

I've been trying to earn online for some 21 years and have yet to get it.  Years ago I could easily earn over $500 a month, which for me was a lot.  Now I'm lucky to earn $100.

I've been working traffic exchanges and mailers now since April 2015.  I've belonged to TE's for years, but I've joined more and more and still do since April 2015.

I have some decisions that need to be made by the end of the year on where I am going.  With the paypal issues earning has really gone down even worse than it was.  I never have been one that does well getting referrals.

Otherwise, I love to quilt and sew and I still do some crochet.  I make many different things and put them up for sale in my etsy shop.  I also sell used books through half.com.   I belong to, and am currently secretary for the Heart of Kansas quilt guild.  I also take part in many activities and groups through the local quilt shop.

I am really active in my church with activities and service.

I love to bowl and bowl on a league each Tuesday evening.

I have 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren with #11 due in January.

Not much else to tell about me.

Hello, I'm Lee Davis and I'm a web developer creating coding, content, and graphic solutions for a range of different niches. I started out in this like a lot of people do; looking to escape the soul-crushing tedium of laboring for arrogantly-indifferent to outright abusive individuals who all thought that my Human Dignity should have to take a hit to satisfy their loathsome egos which were proportionally-inverse to their valuation of my skills and the reflection of the sadness-maker pay scales that only allowed a subsistence-living standard.  I remember the pivotal moment when I'd just about had enough: I'd been at this telemarketing (excuse for a) firm, and, while I managed to fob off the office political minefield by strictly being about the work, it didn't take long for Management to try and use me as their office weapon. Because I understand the nature of hierarchical group-peer relationships, there was no way I was going to be able to just come into any type of managerial position and not be an integral part of the office social network. They thought they were going to promote to their circle and then have me do the dirty work of discipline/firing, etc. How was I going to be able to pull that off smoothly when there'd be all kinds of resentment against me as the current stranger getting promoted over those who'd been there for years?

A rock and a hard place - the rock because I had just gotten married and we were a little struggly at first and the monetary aspect of the promotion offer was significant enough to help in that respect. But the hard place was the juxtaposition of the prior concern coupled with the fact that I wasn't quite sure that the tactics that the company was using to create "sales" were as borderline-legal as their lawyers would have led them to believe and I didn't want to suddenly be arrested because there was a cross-border class-action lawsuit (and, having heard some of the confirmation phone calls, my concerns were only heightened) by the RCMP as a friend of mine I worked with later on had been - and who was only the secretary of her telemarketing firm at the time.  Having successfully fobbed off the promotion (and wrangling a decent raise in the process), I came in one day to find that I suddenly had a "group" and a "group boss" because some brash swaggart had waltzed in and dazzled them with a whole marketing song and dance (AND, more importantly, his own customer contact lists, lol!) and I just wasn't going to be able to be about doing the job and getting out at days' end anymore.

I had only gone to the bathroom as a matter of trying to buy time sort out exactly how I was going to handle this new encroachment on my self-imposed work-bubble. The only thing keeping me sane was the fact that I could walk in ten minutes before, phone-call mantra up, and then just hit it until lunch, then hit it until 5pm. I then just decided that there had to be something better than hiding from my life in a bathroom stall. Something broke that second that made me just get up and walk out. I thought to myself, "I will NEVER again work harder for someone else than I could for myself". And I just never looked back. And it was also, quite possibly, one of the scariest moments of my life. When I walked out of the bathroom and then made a beeline for the elevator, I knew I wasn't going to be employable ever again. Which brings me here, after a considerable amount of time mastering the technical aspects of coding, and web mastery.

I hope to make a real dent here by providing information/resource location and application that helps propel members forward in whatever online discipline they've chosen to follow. Thanks for reading this and having me here @Marketing Checkpoint.

Hey, captkirk, thanks for friending me here and I'll always vouch for you, Chief, as you're one of the hardest-working in Marketing online today. In fact, I've been tracking you for a few years now as I saw you were all over the place and always in the Top 5 for many marketing event competitions. Looking forward to seeing what's in your bag of skills currently. Keep me in the loop? Thanks again.
