    I tried bulk mail once and it did not work at all. The best way to see this is by using a tracker. After chatting with other people on this, they had also the same experience on different bulk mail services. (I was tremendous disappointed about the amount of ripoffs on this type of mailing.)

    Is adfly still around? wow... I removed myself from it the same minute I joined because it didnt take more than a few minutes to get an account suspended because of their links. Annoying and irresponsible company.

    I think email marketing will never get out of trend. Will be having its ups and downs but is just like that in any other business.

    I no longer use safelists, TEs, Traffic Co-ops of any kind as most are non buyers and conversions are sooo low.... I do use 2 mailers and the rest I drive with adswaps, solos and social media. They work and make me happy these days

    The best part about using a own host is the possibilty to add scripts and software that can be built into. Mostof the tools I use, from rotators, cloakers and trackers specially, these I bought and installed the scripts on my host, so no longer need to pay monthly fees to use this kind of tools, which is a plus.... I also recently started testing Rocket Responder for my email marketing and is a very fancy tool. (You can check it out here) If you have the chance to run your own site, or are already running, you can consider doing some research on these tools that you can install Have a great day everyone!

    I no longer use TEs, I personally dont have the time to spend around clicking, and I get much better conversions on other sources (although these are paid). I do however tried, TE Co-op from Pageswirl and based on the traffic sources from my tracker, they are reliable and the TEs they mention do show on my traffic sources, so they walk their talk, so for me is a better way to surf without clicking from time to time, if anyone is interested on testing.

So my new list is still on he growth, non the less, because I am a go getter, I am looking for someone interested on funnel swaps.     That was simply put, a smart move. Most of my products are also not so highly priced. Is a great way to use as leverage to advertising costs to the main offer, specially if you are building a nice quality list. Great going!     I think it depends on what you are offering, I have several landing pages, some straight to the point with just email field (usually use this ones on solos and ad swaps), others with name and email, and I even have landing pages that looks more like sales pages, this ones I use while networking directly to someone, making my offer more personal, so I can provide more detailed info on what I am offering, here i usually use both name and email. Interesting to read the different opinions here

    I recently came accross this membership site script..I downloaded the script, but to be honest, im not even sure where to start. So this is still hanging on my dashboard. Either way, is free and complete, you can offcourse purchase additional plugins to it to make something more massive. Depending on what you are looking for, perhaps you can have a look here Then again, since I myself have this script, im very open for ideas to start something simple but profitable Best, Bruno

    People complicate more than they should when it comes to make money online, and the reason most fail is due to lack of consistency and the tendency to jump to every thing that shines.... Stick to what you got and you will do fine if you keep it consistent.

    PS: I cannot particular say is the best traffic out there, but I know where all my clicks are coming from, I tried different Co ops and I agree with what most of you say here. Beware... use a tracker to see where the traffic comes from.

    I think the best idea is to have a tracker on your link to see where the traffic comes from. I tried the Pageswirl traffic co op and I see on my own tracker that my clicks are coming from TEs, which is expected as they also state that, for me is all fine, because that way I or anyone who uses TEs, well, can avoid surfing and knows what to expect, and let the coop do the work. But yeah, it can be a shady biz, and if you dont know where the clicks are coming from you might as well through the money down the sink.     I guess, the subject lines and content determine a lot whether they should open or not, also when providing content, one should alway be aware on links and words that might trigger spam, which ultimately will put your msgs on the spam folders and give you less openers. Keep it simple Too many follow ups with only few days in between might choke your readers

    Im using Listwire, unlimited subscribers, unlimited broadcasts, and follow ups. Fully featured, so there are no upgrades. Never had a problem with it and is has never been down.
