  1. I'm quite suprised people are so down on Herculist. As a free member I used to regularly get signups from the 1,000 emails per day, so the £15 per year pro upgrade was a no-brainer. Now I can virtually guarantee results from every mailing. of course, it depends what you're advertising...
  2. Banner-Text Ads is a new banner and text advertising site offering ad packages from just $4.99 for 100,000 banner impressions! In my world that's pretty much unbeatable value! http://banner-textads.com/images/banner600.gif
  3. Currently 2347 members and growing...
  4. Looks interesting... I've just joined through your link and will check it out
  5. Hi All, Just been browsing the site after being away for some time and realised vTrafficRush isn't included in the Program Threads. Frankly, I'm amazed this superb site hasn't been added yet as not only does it help you generate free viral traffic on autopilot, it even lets you email your entire downline 6 levels deep without the need for an autoresponder! There are plenty of other cool benefits, too... All you need to do to get started is click on the 7 banners on the landing page... http://vtrafficrush.com/lm.php?rush=davepilgrim
  6. Traffic Rhino is a free advertising site I just discovered which looks promising. It's nice and simple... view ads to earn ads, or upgrade for more credits. Both free and paid members earn commissions... And you can email your referrals regularly without needing any credits. Check it out and let me know what you think... http://trafficrhino.com/index.php?referid=davepilgrim
  7. Brian, there's a pretty good free program I use called YouLikeHits which will help you get followers for credits. The followers aren't targetted, though, and I'd generally advise you use your YouLikeHits credits instead to get retweets, likes, etc. which will help you grow your following more organically.
  8. Don't fall into the trap of looking for 'easy money'. Everyone who is even half a success online puts in many of hours of work to achieve that success. Even those big names who like to tell you they spend just 15 minutes a day working on their business... you think they built those big, glossy professional websites in 15 minutes? You think they threw them together and promoted them with a couple of viral mailers? Or do you think those 15 minutes of work each day are only possible because of the many, many long hours of work, testing, network-building and spending lots of money which they have already done to get to that point? Even the most successful people I know online (big YouTubers who are earning MILLIONS of dollars a year) still have to put in a TON of work on a pretty much daily basis. If you are looking for something easy with little to no work involved you will fail
  9. I've constantly got plans for new business ideas going round my head but seldom get the time I'd like to devote to all these. At the moment I'm busy building a website to showcase a load of dropshipping products I currently have on ebay but even that consists of a little work here and there when I can spare time from my main work
  10. I don't know whether or not this is any good, just that I took a look at it and it didn't really interest me. I don't know exactly what they teach you there, but I do know they don't teach you about using BCC when you send an email. How do I know this? Because when I woke up and checked my emails this morning I had one about RU (presumably from whichever affiliate I opted in under) which had my email address and 35 OTHERS listed clearly in the 'To' field for every spammer and his mother to see! Ho Hum

  12. Yes, you're advertising to people who are selling their own products... and ALL of those people without exception are almost certainly looking for ways to get more traffic to their sites. Provide that and you're on to a winner!
  13. This site has one of the coolest splash pages I've seen which just sucks in referrals!
  14. I use createsplashpages.com quite a lot. Although the site itself looks quite basic and amateurish you can actually create some pretty nice-looking splash and squeeze pages with stunning backgrounds. This example here is now a splash page but I used to have an autoresponder form on there which was easily integrated.
  15. I have. It wouldn't really be fair to blame Payza but they started saying someone had attempted to access my account from another country so they had locked it. They then started asking me a load of personal security questions. I didn't particularly want to start sending these details in an email to a site which had possibly been compromised but I couldn't even close the account as it was locked. In the end they did close it for me but only after I advised them to just leave it permanently locked lol
  16. I still prefer PayPal and would rather switch programs if they stop using it rather than switch to Payza. I did re-open a long-time-closed Payza account recently just because everyone else was using them, but they've been nothing but trouble and I haven't even started using them yet!
  17. I don't set up autoreponder sequences - I'd rather send out a broadcast to my subscribers only when I have something useful and current to tell them. Of course sending mail via safelists and viral mailers is another thing altogether - I do this daily.

  19. A lot of the time free and paid ads are basically the same ads - it's just that you'll get more ads for less work if you pay.
  20. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm always looking for more banner advertising - I joined!
  21. Bejesus! Thought Halloween was long gone! What a horror story... The scale of this threat is truly scary when you make it plain just how easy it is to hack multiple accounts like this. Thanks so much for this info... the daunting task is now how to tackle the problem.
  22. http://www.hitsafari.com/?rid=78571Hit Safari is not new... It's been around quite some time and has proven itself to be consistently one of the top-performing traffic exchanges. With a 2:1 surfing ratio (1:1 for upgraded members) along with a 6 second timer and a large and very active membership, you can be sure of great results every time you surf. 23. Thanks, HomeOffice... I think you illustrate what a lot of people are missing - namely that there's a lot more to Twitter than just posting the occasional Tweet and hoping for the best. There's a lot to be learned about using Twitter and it's a fascinating and rewarding journey. The people saying it doesn't work for them because they only have a few followers are missing the point. That's like saying traffic exchanges don't work for them because they only surf 5 sites a day! If you USE Twitter frequently and intelligently you will grow your following and your engagement. There's plenty of free tutorials out there about how to do this. Even with few followers yourself you can use things like #Hashtags to reach a lot more people. I don't use Twitter all the time - I tend to go through ebbs and flows - but I have two main Twitter accounts. One is a where I tend to tweet about inspirational stuff and stuff close to my heart. I primarily use this to spread ideas, positivity and 'good karma'. This account currently has 1,408 followers. Then I have another account which I've had lying dormant for ages and have only very recently started using again. This is where I tweet about free traffic resources. This currently has 2,172 followers (although many of them are 'junk' accounts) and attracts people who are interested in website promotion, affiliate marketing, etc. This account is mostly automated and the tweets optimized to reach a large target audience. If Twitter didn't work the biggest multinational companies in the world wouldn't spend millions of dollars tweeting!
  24. I generally manage to turn a blind eye to most email spam that I receive, considering it par for the course. But one class of spammers that REALLY bothers me are the one's you mentioned who send s**t from MY email address! This has led in the past not only to stains on my professional reputation but also to embarrassment on a personal level when friends and family have received this junk, apparently from me. Thanks for the advise on how to deal with these lowlifes
