after being online for 21 years I can tell you sincerely that mishaps like this happen. One thing i've
learned both from my own experience and how customers respond is that it does not help to become hot
headed. Sooner or later things get worked out. Maybe I'm crazy but I usually just cancel things without
worrying about refunds Ive just learned to do that since most products do not really offer refunds.
I'm glad you got it worked out don't hold it against the company it was an oversight. if you sell online you
can make the same error. You want to hope you don't but it happens. There but the grace of God go I.
It was an oversight when my credit card didn't get canceled when I cancelled the membership. The run around with the responses telling me that they had the right to charge me was the problem.
When you cancel something that should be the end of it. When it is brought to your(the owner/managements) attention you look into it and fix the problem, not tell the customer their s#@t out of luck, we are going to ignore you now.

Hey there,
I took rocketresponder up on its 30 day free trial on October 11, 2017. I had to use my credit card to sign up, which I thought the TIM TECH team was legit, so I did.
On the 23rd after giving it some work I discovered it wasn't for me. So, I decided to cancel. You have to contact them and open a support ticket # 782704. I got a quick response from Justin same day saying account was cancelled.
On November 13th my credit card was charged $20 from rocketresponder. So, the account was cancelled, I couldn't sign in, so I had to ask for a new log in so I could open a support ticket and this is the response I got on the 15th:
"Your account has been cancelled as requested. If you need anything let us know. If you ever decide to come back, simply login and goto the billing page. Your lists and settings will be saved for when you come back!
Tim"
I responded by explaining as I did above and this is what was said:
"RocketResponder has a 30 day free trial, we do not give refunds after the fact. If you are in the free trial period you can cancel anytime on the billing page. If you paid via credit card you can cancel anytime after the trial period on the same page. If you paid via Paypal you'll need to cancel within your Paypal account.
Tim"
That was their response on the 17th. I opened another support ticket and explained once again about cancelling before the 30 days was up and now they are ignoring my emails.
What do I do?

I received a refund of my money from rocketresponder.

It can be hard to find reliable hosts when their customer testimonials are links to dead sites. Fat Cow was suggested to me but when I clicked on their customer testimonials they were to dead sites and that justs stops my interests in learning more about them.

I signed up with them a while back just because the price was so low and it was a curiosity to me at the time. I have yet to use them though so I don't have any information to share. I'm working with another, larger Hosting Service right now but may try a Squeeze Page to see what happens. I'll let you know how it goes!
Hello Steve, have you had a chance to try lifetime hosting? I am trying to find a reasonable & reliable host, just to build one simple site. Any recommendations would be a great help. Have used go daddy, just to expensive and always trying to sell me something. Just looking to build a website & blog,

Interesting.. thanks for sharing as that is not something I even thought about.
I still use it but sometimes its frustrating when your opening up the emails(from even regular mailers that require icon verifi.) and it does it ,also
I dont't understand how it gets past all the site checks. The same ads will mess up on other mailers. Even on a couple of yours they take over a second after clicking on the mail

I was in it for about a week. All I got from it was watch some videos in different catagories. The only contact that could be made was through my referrer, and that was one-way him sending me emails to watch videos, then at the start of week two thwglobal started sending me emails saying if I didnt start using my account they would drop me so I did them a favor and unsubscribed.

The one digest mailer I receive tends to get corrupted when there is one bad email (google warning) and then I lose all credits for the rest of the email after that in the digest. That is the only problem I have expierenced.

Does anybody know what happened to LOL Solos?
This is just one more reason I stopped buying into mailers and exchanges. I have had lifetime memberships in several programs in the past couple of years, built up credits, have gotten good leads and then the programs die or sale to some one else and I loose everything I invested in them.
Why should I invest in someone that is just going to take my money and move on?
Does any one else feel this disappointment?

Just an update for anyone interested- Pay-Pal couldn't get any response out of Listconnect either, so I received a full refund.

My dear, not the great number of members is the basic criterion, the responsive list is.
I have a list with 1800 members and I get traffic from it ten times more then a very great list.
I too, have a better expeirence with the smaller numbered sites. The ctr% is better and have signed up 1 to 5 referrals in each and none in my bigger list sites.

Focus on being one or more of the first 5 personas listed above. And just to clarify, you can have tons of competitors, but that's just the nature of being in business. And, it should drive you to improve your business, keeping ahead of your competitors.

Thanks Matt. I really just want them to stand behind their OTO that I bought into. But, I cannot get any response from their admin. when I submit a support ticket. This is the kind of bad business that discourages most people. I appreciate your help. Thanks again.

Has any one else upgraded at list connect.com and not received the upgrade? I did and I cannot get any response out of the administration or a refund. This is very disappointing when a SL/TE rips you off. It would be nice if all of the legite SL/TE owners could come up with a way to stop these scammers. Thanks for any advice from anyone on how to deal with this.
