In this fast-paced internet world  we are all bombarded with 1000s of ads, to the point where we become desensitized to the message.  Most of us are only glancing at subjects for 1-2 seconds and if we do open the ad we look for a few seconds more and move on.

 

So, we have seen many suggestions that people need to be exposed to your ad at least 9 times before they click.  If you have shown your ad to what ever group for 9 times (or what ever your magic number is) and you are not getting any hits, how often do you change your subject line and/or your entire ad?

I usually change out my ads about every 3 months. People become immune to seeing the same thing and usually after that time people who had any interest have decided to join or not. A new splash, email or text ad usually generates a few new referrals or sales.
