where can i share or promote via forum post my own blog aside from my forum signature and mailer?

 

it's not a domain name it's using one of my subdomains.

i have medium, steemit is much better in traffic clicks

I think engaging on other blogs in your niche with meaningful contribution to their topics will get actual readers to check out your blog. Also reaching out to other blogs in your niche that maybe have a little more readership or engagement on their posts that is more than the Facebook like widget. Another idea is Facebook groups where you answer questions by pointing people to your blog to give the answer.

The best way is paid traffic above all others because you have no control over the quality or targeting otherwise. SEO is great but never rely on SEO alone. Google can make an update at any time and knock you down a few notches. Find a good paid traffic source that performs well with your blog. Nobody starts a blog for traffic alone. The point and goal is always to make money. In order to make money, you must spend money. How much money you make, if any, depends on how wise you spent your money.

Yeah that notes option on fb is pretty darn good. I have used that before. You could google the free advertising blogs online like this one there are still some out there.  There's always classified ads although as time goes on they get less and less effective and burried but if you SEO your content you can post anywhere and get some eyeballs.  Of course there is still slideshare even tho thats owned by linkedin these days and more focused on brick and morter.  However I see all kinds of stuff on there.  Its easy to come up with a slideshow just download the free microsoft powerpoint think its still available.  Go to the http://warriorforum.com and search for free advertising you'll get all kinds of ideas.
