Udimi - udimi.com

Hello everyone!

This question goes out to Darren Olander or anyone else who has had any experience over at Udimi.com

From what I understand, Udimi is a superior version of Safe-swaps with a lot more fraud detection and things like that.

I'm wondering if anyone can share any experiences with this website or offer any tips/tricks on how to get up and running without spending a fortune testing.

I saw Darren O. is a pretty active participant over there purchasing and selling clicks.

One specific thing I'm wondering about is how buying through Udimi compares to using solo ads and other forms of safelist advertising.

Thanks you guys :)

I think udimi is excellent. There is a risk with buying a solo from someone directly (and not through udimi), especially if you don't have your own click fraud detection, some would send you fake traffic or very low quality traffic. With udimi the funds are held until all the clicks you ordered are delivered, and there are basic filters as well as extra filters you can choose depending on what you want.

The pricing can range a lot. I wouldn't buy from someone who is too cheap, like 30 cents or lower per click, I've found that those are not high quality clicks and probably does not include a buyers list. So what you can ask a seller is..

does this include your buyers list? What I mean is some sellers segment their list and then sell only solos to their non-buyers. They wouldn't tell you this upfront so you need to ask.

Another important thing is to look at the reviews, if people say they are getting SALES that is a very good sign.

Buying solos is more expensive than safelist advertising because with a solo you are paying per click and once those clicks are delivered your campaign is over unless you buy more. With safelists you can buy a monthly/annual membership and mail many times per month, and if you have good email copy and landing page then you should be getting some optins here and there from each send. With safelists you just need to be consistent by mailing to as many as you can as often as you can.

Two different beasts, both good options for advertising.

Thanks for sharing your experience Darren...I think I will cautiously proceed with a few orders and will choose clicks above 30 cents and also ask for a buyer's list.

I am farily new to the whole safelist/solo ad game as well so the trick will be how to pull off balancing it all :) I suppose just jumping in somewhere and getting my hands dirty is probably what I should be doing lol. Innactivity is the only sure way to fail.

That is some real good advice Darren and if you follow those simple guidelines you should be ok. I would add that I usually purchase in the range of 30 to 44 cents and if I am in the 30 cent range I look at customer reviews. I like to see return customers because this is a good sign that the clicks vs conversion is pretty good. The last one I did i got excellent clicks but the one before I go several buys.I also like the way Udimi shares who the top sellers are and then I look at their reviews.

I have tried some new sellers and they did ok but you have to check their ratings. Also most tell you where the ads will be run and the percentage of top tier click you will get. And I have seen some verify which offers work best in their list. I appreciate info like that because it is their list and they should have some sort of idea of what their list leans towards.

I used a highly-rated seller on Udimi a week ago, and got very good results; over 50% signup to my optin form, and more than 10% over-delivery. It's worth considering splitting your advertising too - even if you only have $100, you could split that between 2 sellers and compare the results. Then you can start building up a list of your favourite sellers. On the whole though, if you stick with people who have plenty of good reviews, you should be ok.

Thanks for this enlightening discussion.  I am familiar with Udimi.com but have not used their service. Currently I am promoting two good products but the Safelists and TEs are not

producing any results (although I have upgraded in some of them), so I will definitely need to invest in some solo ads.

Hi,
Udimi is an online solo ad service that allows you to easily find other online marketers in your niche with huge e-mail lists you can use to send out an offer to. Udimi can be a tool that is both beneficial to users with large e-mail lists and those looking to get started out as an online marketer.

In my opinion however, Udimi is probably not something you would want to use too much over the long-term. Instead, it would be a wise idea if you were to use these solo ads in order to additionally build up your own e-mail list. A lot of your success with Udimi will really come down to the individual services you decide to use.

I am currently building an income as an affiliate.

I feel like the fact the customers are hard-coded for life and Udimi sends regular emails to the referrals promoting deals and top sellers. So I don't have to maintain the list, either.

Plus, I'm getting a 10% conversion from referrals with repeat buyers!

Looking forward to when I have 200+ hard-coded customers ...

I am a little ticked off because I was getting about 1 sign up a day into Using and had generates few hundred in sales until.... they RE-designed the website and took the sign up form off of the page.

My sign ups went to zero. I ad to stop promoting and put that plan on hold. They have since added a red button in the middle of the page where the form used to be but I suspect the sign up rate would still be lousy.

Oh well at least it was a profitable project. I do have lifetime referrals here and whenever someone buys a solo ad, I get paid!

Just bought a 150 click solo on Udimi. Got 85 leads and it cost $95. So just over $1/lead... and I did get a residual sale from that run.

$1 per lead is pretty good in this industry. I can do better, but the leads are usually of lesser quality.
