  1. Hey Rudi, I feel bad that you are frustrated with the company you are with. Sometimes at first it is a crap shot and a lot sponsor talk a good game and you never see them after they make their fat star comm on you. Most companies out there have great products and comp plans some a little better than others that is sort of a given. For you to succeed you need a constant flow of leads and people to speak with. Forget about family you probably burnt those bridges already. You need a owner or the top producer to give you the script they are using because they are the major recruiters in the company. Remember that the top producers have been doing this most of heir lives so do not beat your self if you can not sponsor like them, no one can. Also forget about generating leads for yourself the learning curve is way to long. Yes you can get some leads from email blasts, the paper but remember you still have to speak with the prospect and build a relationship. You may get some sign ups from some ads but they will not stay in if they can not sponsor. ****You need to find a company that as soon as you join you are handed a script and 100 decent leads to call, of course under the supervision of your sponsor. If you can not do this right out of the gate you are doomed for failure. You will be looking for ways to generate leads, how to use tweeter, etc. You can do that latter. When I joined the company I am with now I had 120 pre-enrollees placed in my right leg and 120 pre-enrollees placed in my left leg and was given a script to use when I called the prospects my first week. Of course we are working a hybrid unilevel and binary. These leads were from text blasting. Right now text blasting and voice message blasting are the best ways to generate immediate leads If you or anyone you sponsor are not in this above situation it will be hard to succeed. You can definitely make money but not the 10,000 a week money. When I first started out I was probably like you and the other 95% of people in MLM. What do I do next. Now all I do is get up get on the phone and do my thing. The best of luck to you, Henry
  2. Rudi, Great topic to start and love everyones comments. Speaking from my experience the reasons that 95% of the people in MLN do not succeed is: No one to talk to on a consistent basis and no one to show them how to talk to prospects. Most people who get involved with a company do not have the stamina to be rejected over and over again. Forget about calling family. They do not understand that being rejected gets you closer to success. Also most people take the prospects no personally. Rudi you mentioned your up-line get the best leads. That good be somewhat true because you never know how they get the leads. You will get good leads if you are trying to succeed in the company. I recently received some voice broadcast leads and it is like night and day speaking with them. They were networks of course. I think it does boil down to experience in speaking with prospects on a regular basis. Doug Firebaugh mentioned on a call one time that he loves to hear the word No because he knows that is getting closer to that all important Yes. The very successful networkers have paid their dues and have made their 1,000's and 1,000's of calls and have failed during the process and have learned how to succeed. After years in the business they now have lists that they can just call and people will follow. Most people are not willing to get in the trenches and call their first 100 people and get beat up a little they just give up and say this stuff does not work, I had no help, the comp plan was no good, etc. In reality it was they were not driven to succeed. Don't get me wrong, off course you need a great company owner and leaders that are accessible for guidance. And a sponsor who is a leader. Luckily for me I had mentors when I first started out and even now I have some of the most successful networkers in the world on my team. On my training call this Saturday the owner said you have to be thick skinned in this business and if you can not sit down and call 100 people to start you may want to think whether or not this business is for you. Fortunately the owner and leaders in my company are accessible. *****Michael Jordan was asked why was he so successful. He said because he has failed so many times. He mentioned how many times he was put in the game in the last seconds to make a 3 point winning goal and he failed to make the shot many times. Henry
