Yes, it looks like we were taken for a very bad ride again. I want to add to this discussion that for me, one of the best places for my promotions are TE's Login Ads. They definitely work, especially if you have a unique page for a new site ;-) As to the regular TE site rotations, in my opinion it is mainly branding, branding yourself and your sites.
