I agree that TEs are not dead (although they aren't as effective as they used to be). The Paypal slam and the most recent Payza scandal have certainly taken a toll on traffic exchanges, safelists and mailers for sure. But the sites with seasoned and experienced admins will survive. If you visit Steve Aylings blog steveayling.com he has several posts addressing the slowdown of the exchange and mailer industry and what he thinks will make them rebound again.

Seems like this scenario is commonplace with Rocket Responder. I had the exact same thing to happen to me but through a support ticket after the fact I was finally able to get my account cancelled and a refund on the charge they made after my account was supposed to be closed.

Thanks for the quick reply Darren. You should put this info on the My Commissions page along with instructions on how to get a BTC, ETH and LTC address. Cryptocurrencies are still new to the masses and they have no clue how to get setup to send and receive them.

He still does after about a year Frank sells the sites and Greg buys most of them. I'll bet Greg has the biggest freebie list of all time by now.

This is true, how ever short they are you do get lots of traffic from them while they are fresh. I wish he could come up with more sites like he did a few years ago that were more mainstay. But it is what it is, I suppose he makes more money from having multiple launches per year than having massive ones like he used to do.

When this first launched I joined and went full boat with all of the steps. Promoted it like crazy and got lots of step 1 signups but conversions were really low - like less than 5% Too bad this program isn't like other Bryan Winters' programs where they get added to your AR list. That might have helped conversions if you could stay in contact with the step 1 signups.

I used to join all of Frank's sites but I've noticed over the past couple of years the traffic is short lived with them now. When they first launch you get tons of clicks from them but it only lasts a couple of months or so. I think it's because every couple of months he launches a new one and all the clickers migrate over to the new launches.

Bulk mail services have extremely low deliverability rate and are considered by most ESPs (email service providers) to be spam so rarely will any email they actually get delivered will ever inbox. Don't waste your time on it.

My first one was Global Domains International (GDI), never made a dime with it. Tried numerous team builds and ad co-op schemes but none of them ever produced any results. The MLM that I have had the most success with is Pureleverage. I guess because they offer services people actually need and will use. I'm currently trying out GotBackup which has a mass appeal but may be in too competitive a market. Time will tell I suppose.

After much research I found most of the answer to my questions about Share-a-Sale but as of yet not found any vendors there to share any info on their success in the marketplace there. The basics of becoming a vendor on Share-a-Sale is that there is a product approval phase much like Clickbank. If approved as a vendor there is a $500 account setup fee and at least a $250 affiliate payment deposit fee. You aren't charged per item you list in their marketplace like you are with Clickbank but you are billed monthly for any affiliate commissions which is pro-rated on your previous month's sales history. This is much the same process as becoming a vendor on Commission Junction except that CJ the start up fees are significantly higher ($2500 and $1000). The reason why I'm even considering Share-a-Sale is because their marketplace is so diverse that it attracts affiliates in some of the really popular niches outside of IM. But considering the start up costs and my lack of finding any real vendor feedback on how well their sales are through them I guess for now I'm going to stick with Clickbank when doing anything outside of the IM niche.

Also don't forget you can get a lot of targeted traffic from forum posting. Create a signature file that links to a squeeze page and just post 3 -5 times a day in forums. You'd be surprised at how effective that is.

Certainly using a web service that disappears is a problem but another people don't think about as much is that a lot of these websites get put on black lists. For example TinyURL is a well known link cloaker but also one that is blacklist by a lot of email service providers. Bit.ly is another well known one that is widely used but also on a lot of blacklists. IMO you're better off to do your own link cloaking from your own website. Pretty Links is an excellent free wordpress plugin you can use for this.

I've been looking for alternative affiliate marletplaces outside of Clickbank and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with Share-A-Sale as a product vendor OUTSIDE the IM/MMO niche. In particular the niche I'm wanting to move into is in the self improvemnet/personal finance niche. Any tidbits of info or experience would be most appreciated.

Exactly affordwealth. Lead Lightning is just a feeder system or funded proposal to your main business. I've barely promoted it and made several sales into it and even gotten two upgrades into PLS from it. And yes, AIOP is another all in one system like PLS. How are your inbox and open rates with AIOP? I've considered joining that as well but finding real reviews that aren't just promotional come-ons is almost impossible as in anything in IM.

Actually Lead Lightning is a scaled down version of Priceless Possibilites Power Lead System. The Lead:Lightning product was conceived after the members of PLS asking for a funded proposal system to be put into place. When you upgrade to either silver or the gold level you are actually getting a full Power Lead System account not just the Lead Lightning program. Yes, there is an MLM element added into the PLS system but you don't have to participate in that if you don't want. The Power Lead System is an excellent autoresponder service with lots of really cool features that neither Aweber or GetResponse offers. I've been with PLS for just about a year now and I can tell you first hand their inbox rate is far superior to Aweber or GetResponse mostly because they don't allow importing of lists and all lists are double optin meaning when you get a subscriber you're definitely getting higher quality leads. Anyway, I hope this helps you understand more about what the Lead Lightning program is about and why you should take a more indepth look at it and not focus on the MLM opportunity that is again not a requirement.
