Retired after 40 yrs of administering anesthesia.  Still like to dabble in hypnosis.  Have been on line over 20 years and find marketing fascinating. California is home for me and my wife.
 
I spend 1-2 hours a day testing new sites.  I try my best to weed-out the scams.  When I find a site that meets my criteria, I test it a few more days to see what kind of response I get and then I recommend it to my private list called, the  "Active Players List"

If I could only give one piece of advice to a new marketer it would be this:  "Approach everything with a healthy level of skepticism and by all means test new things for free before you spend any money"

Read and re-read the program you have joined.  That way you can answer the questions that your new people have.

I agree. Solo ads seem to work best, however, I always join a new program for free and try it out before I upgrade. Even after marketing online for 20 years, I am still skeptical.

I believe everything worthwhile has a cost also. And, every once in awhile a freebie comes along that is phenomenal. Of course the cost is your precious time.

Will it continue?  Who knows. It reminds me of the stock market.  Up - down - up - down.  I think what it boils down to is can you afford to hold on to it, after it dips, until it passes what you paid for it....

I agree with everything that Claire said and I would like to add one thing.  I like to choose sites where the admin allows the sponsor (upline) to see the new members email address.  I like to send new people a welcome email and offer my help.
