Its funny this topic should come up. I used to tweet all the time. I really got away from it. I see it maybe becoming popular again now that its not a place for nothing but grumbling lol. It did need a good cleaning up. Lets see how did i use twitter? i would use it to place ads which is totally acceptable. and i would look at the hash tags and see what was popular. If anything looked appropriate for my ad I would use it. And yeah it got my ad in the first page at twitter sometimes. Try it. How does threads work for internet marketers?

Well years ago we had the warrior forum run by alan says or so he said that was his name lol. and its was a huge place and great for learning and posting but like here you cannot place ads in there but it also has the sig file option.. They have a classified section for ads but they call it something else now. And also a WSO section. They are the originators of the WSO ad (Which you have to pay for). But the idea is carried on by Warriorplus. Most of the marketers you see were mentored by the ones who started there and I wouldn't say its the same place today as it was then but its still really great. The old super duper marketers who were bred by alan all split after alan sold the forum. I never ran away but i don't hang out there now. I do go back in and see whats going on. I like to find the freebees in the WSO and classified sections. I like to go on a freebee hunt lol. Its now owned by freelancer. It looks the same and a lot of the old threads are around still. I highly recommend getting an account there just google it as it is still very popular and should come right up. To find some other forums just google list of marketing and make money forums 2023. Now having said that I like it here better then them all these days. Lets all market this forum and get it rockin with people again like the good old days of marketing check point.

Yes I agree with this but it goes a little beyond that not only do you need to decide who your customer is but you also need to find out where they are online. Today its a little simplified because there are a lot of places which are within social media where people meet in groups. Once you find your target market a good way to find people to work with is to find people with questions, help them out and answer the questions to gain credibility and then you can maybe befriend them. You don't have to be an expert the answers are everywhere. Just give it a good google search

Not too many safelists around anymore. But mailers are better then traffic exchanges. I still surf but use more mailers then anything.

i have seen so many autoresponders heck some of them I had no clue how to even get a email going out lol. But leadsleap is rockin it here in 2023. I ADORE the pages you can duplicate it just is soooo nice for helping downlines. And I'm one of these systems folks I love coming up with little systems and now with leadsleap people can duplicate my systems. WHO HOOOO. I guess you would call them splash pages but you can really use them for anything instructions etc. The sky is the limit best splash maker for free online

i hear so much good and bad about this program at this point I am totally confused. I've never tried it. and after reading this whole thread I don't think i'm any more convinced. I do know most of these posts were written awhile ago though.

i forget if there is a requirement for a signature here (someone comment about that), but that is one of the best ways to advertise in a forum check out that option and if you don't know what a sig file is in a forum google it. You'll learn a lot

Does everyone think its ethical to put a time limit on something that doesn't have one? I've always had an issue with that. seems like lying is the answer to getting customers and sometimes i think no not worth it because after awhile they'll not believe anything you say anymore. Just expressing thoughts i've had over the years

Wow Think I better start advertising this forum. These posts are not updated we need fresh blood in here anyhow i agree with this. nonetheless i have quite a few upgraded mailers due to buying other stuffs and it came along with it. once i upgraded on my own because the owner seemed like a friend still does. I don't make a practice of doing it.

Let me just add something here. If you are using safelists and listbuilders a good way to get your emails open is to promote "advertising" as well. If you have a blog full of ads with your bizopp on the blog there ya go. That's a little extra info from back in the day since I'm also late to the party. 4 years late wow

It took years to learn how to work on here if you are here today in 2023 you are the lucky ones We had no wordpress, no traffic exchanges, no list builders (Funny i remember the first one and then everyone went wild creating more) LOL I was pleased as the first one really WORKED but alas the internet can get saturated with something and then it doesn't work as well. In my humble opinion list builders, safelists etc work way better then TE's But i do promote and use them still. Can't beat free advertising!! Well all that just say something besides hi. I still have a paypal account. i started on the net in 1997 or 96 i was earning by 98 in some ways when paypal came along I joined. First payment processor. By this time I was helping a friend earn money she has passed on. But she never lost her paypal either. hummmmmm

I personally do not like herculist i am not upgraded. I was at one point and back then I still didn't think it was that great. But you can actually upgrade for a one time fee. So why not. you reach thousands of people. In other words its worth a one time fee to upgrade so take the deal. But its an individual thing whether or not it will work for you. Nobody can promise you results.
