Spelling and grammar are extremely important in promotions and getting it correct can mean the difference between success and failure of the message. I do not read promotional emails if the grammar and spelling is bad at the start of the mail. If the person writing the mail does not have the interest in getting his message correct in all respects, then there is every chance he is going to be sloppy with my order or sign up or whatever it is.
