  1. This scam has been around for a while now, this is just its newest face. There are a bunch of clone sites,Martins Solo ads (which I see advertised here}, Gauranteed solo ads, Cynthias Solo ads, etc. They are all via Clickbank. They promise you a Solo ad and guarantee you tons of clicks,a specified number of opt-ins and a free solo if you make no sales. There is a big list of excited testimonials. The traffic always comes from trafficholder, com which is popunder traffic from porn sites. These are not even Solo ads.just worthless clicks.
  2. Lately, whenever I opt in to something new I will intentionally mis-spell my name. Then if I start getting a bunch of spammy crap to the mis-spelled name I know right away which asshat has been sharing my info and I simply unsubscribe from everyone.
  3. At this point Marketing Checkpoint is the only place where I will be offering this without opting in to my list. I haven't decided yet but I may offer it this way briefly on one of Maryanne Myers sites as well.
  4. What would you most like to learn today about earning online? List Building?, Sales funnels?,maybe Traffic generation methods?,how about Product creation or how to write successful sales copy. Well, if knowledge is power Surefire Wealth is the power station. Top quality training, not like the next to useless plr crap that is cluttering up my hard drive from some purchases I've made in the past but loads of courses and programs with real value and the training to put them to use. Surefire Wealth gives you access to current tools, technique, and strategies without holding back the missing pieces. As a membership site there are different levels of commitment. There is of course a free level available to anyone,an upgrade that is a paltry $10/yr, a Silver level which is at $147/yr is a pretty serious offering that will give you freedom from overpriced "shiny objects" and a couple higher levels. Here is where it gets interesting: As a top upgraded member I am able to offer one year Silver memberships for free.I paid for this option to to use as an inducement to get people to opt-in to my list and that is how I will be presenting it. Except for here. MarketingCheckpoint is a little different than any other site I belong to. When I hit my bookmark to open the site it is titled "Sharing and Advertising community" OK, this is me sharing. No Opt-in link for my list. Just the link to your One year Silver membership valued at $147/yr for free. No opt in to my list, take this incredible offer .http://www.surefirewealth.com/rep/target/Silver.html
  5. I was in P4P for 3 months.I ran the same ads that I ran in various traffic exchanges. Although it was the most expensive lead source I was using at the time I gained no opt ins at all that I recall.Once bitten twice shy.
  6. A lot of people grow their list by doing ad swaps and many have great success at it. I was not so lucky. When I saw my list triple in size literally within a few days by doing a series of swaps I felt like I was cracking into the big league. However when my response didn't grow at all I realized that all I had accomplished was to pollute a great list with a bunch of worthless filler.
  7. I tried it a long time ago and got pretty dismal results. Of course back then I no strategy whatsoever, just threw random ads out and waited for my inbox to be "flooded with an unstoppable torrent of payments" just like the ad promised. I should probably take another look at it.
  8. I have a Wordpress blog that I never seem to use. I realize how effective a blog can be but for some invalid reason I always seem to push the blog to the back burner. I'm refining my schedule and you can believe me that the Wordpress blog is coming back to a more important position
  9. To promote a popular site you will not get much return on your effort by just throwing cookie cutter ads into the venues that are already saturated with them. This is where the value of listbuilding comes in. Once you have a list that has grown to listen to your advice and recommendations you will be in a better position to market products. I advertise to build my lists. There are ways to monetize the initial list building sequence via OTO's ,upsells and downsells but the main goal is to get that person into the funnel waiting for my next email. It's only hard if you make it hard.
  10. I just voted, sorry that I didn't do it much earlier. To all of you that have not voted yet please do.I only takes a second +
  11. One thing that grinds my gears is a site that lets you accumulate small sums of cash but will not allow you to purchase network ads with the balance. If they call it cash but do not accept it as cash it smells pretty bad. Another issue is a site that does not disclose the size of its membership. I have joined sites that turned out to only have ,say ,65 members. I have promoted and recruited 3 or 4more and a year later the membership stands at about 70. If a site is fairly new it can be advantageous to get in early but a site that has been around for a while and still has a tiny membership is a total waste of time. If the owner does not promote his own site what else does not get done?
  12. Thanks Dude, I think that this is something that we should all give a good read to.
  13. Thanks Darren: That's kinda good to know since I have a gazillion or two banner credits and more coming every day, I've long had the impression that there was no benefit to posting the same banner more than once.
  14. I used to use Aweber but switched to Get response a couple years ago. I don't recall now exactly what prompted the switch but I'm satisfied with Get Response. I also use the AR in my AIOP account and it works a lot better than people told me it would. I have no plans to give up either.
  15. I send broadcasts during the follow up sequence. After a month all they get are the broadcasts, some of which lead into a sequence of their own.
  16. I save a lot of my stuff in Notepad. Adobe pdf, I'm kinda looking for another option for pdf editing though. Loke a lot of people, I've got tons of stuff on my hard drive that I will likely never use.
  17. I have not sent a mailing here yet. The 250 points can spark a lot of good activity here and that is always a good thing.I'm working on something new that I will be likely introducing here first.
  18. I was in Empower back when it was fairly new, seemed like a great system. I joined a team that promised they would get me signups and then get signups for them too.Of course it never happened. I dutifully posted the provided pages on a couple dozen safelists and exchanges without any success. Capturing my own leads and following up seemed way too complicated back then. I left very disappointed and feeling foolish.
  19. The problem is that most people simply join a program that promises the sun and the moon, they just put up the stock affiliate website/landing page and throw it out on a few traffic exchanges with all the other cookie cutter landing pages and sales pages.People are clicking to get credits and unless you can grab someones attention in a couple seconds they will just click on by.That is why I always suggest to learn how to use Wordpress and a real autoresponder. Build your list first, then send them information and offers.
  20. I've bought solo ads on the Warrior Forum with varied results. Some sellers pad their lists with crappy ppc third word addresses while a couple I actually have made a profit on my initial mailing. (you can't count on that happening). The aim is to get real, interested people to subscribe to my list. I will use them again but right now I'm focusing on a different method that is showing some great early results
  21. The first things that I would recommend you do are learn how to use Wordpress and learn how to use an autoresponder. This will allow you to put together websites, and blogs with lead capture forms to build your list in any niche or any program.
  22. I wasw a paid member of P4P for 2 months. My own tracking results usually showed 0 opens. Looks like "dummy" addresses to me, stay away!
