After 16 years online I'm probably still doing things wrong from the Gurus and experts standpoint. What did they say that I'm doing wrong?: Using a username instead of a Real Name. In the past, I only used captkirk.Using an Avatar instead of a real picture of yourself , I'm still using the first Avatar that I ever used.Don't use Traffic Exchanges, FFAs, and Other FREE methods they say don't work. I'm still using them.Don't use ALL CAPS in your subject title, I use ALL CAPS than and still using them 16 years later.They said that people would NEVER follow me. I have signed up thousands and won numerous referral contests. The point of my story, don't let others beliefs hold you back from exploring the opportunities on the Internet. BTW, The Gurus and Experts were wrong in my case. I guess I'm an exception to the rule.

Frankly, I don't think that it make any difference if you use a first or no names. The BIG difference is what you're advertising, offering, promoting, pushing and etc... Do the product or service fill a need or want is what's most important?
