  1. I seem to remember when I joined and bought the first 3 adpacks, the ad views were used up quite fast, so it must have had a very active membership. As I said, I lost track of it for a while so not sure if that is still the case, but I may buy another ad pack to see...
  2. This is a pretty decent downline builder that's been around a while and is well worth joining if you're promoting several programs. As well as the core programs in the downline builder, you can also add 15 affiliate programs of your own choosing which are then shown to all your downline members down level after level. In addition, you can email your personal referrals direct from your back office, so this is also an effective listbuilder. There is a one-time fee of $10 to join, but since each of your referrals pays their $10 directly to YOU, you can very quickly be in profit. Anyone interested can check it out at: http://www.growyourlistandincome.com/?davepilgrim
  3. Yeah, to be honest, my feeling on checking out this system was that it's a bit of a joke. There are better ways to sell clickbank products...
  4. Yes, Leadsleap has stood the test of time and keeps getting better and better!
  5. What's your opinion on matrix programs? I started using this one a while ago mainly because the advertising packages were such great value. http://www.2bucker.com/?davepilgrim I didn't really promote it much, though, and actually forgot about it until recently. Any experiences? http://www.2bucker.com/?davepilgrim
  6. I think the point is that if you're only relying on your own efforts, your returns are always going to be limited, so whenever possible you want to 'viralize' you traffic and your income. In theory, programs where your referrals pass up more referrals to you, who in turn pass up more referrals ad infinitum, fulfil this requirement beautifully, and mean the program can keep generating you an 'automated' income long after you've turned your efforts to something else. In practice, however, I've found that most of my referrals in ANY program won't bring in (m)any referrals of their own. So in a sense, I can see where you're coming from in preferring to rely on your own efforts. That said, if you're going to work hard at promoting anyway and intend to bring in a lot of referrals, what's to lose by passing up one or two of them? After all, if only one or two of the others work even half as hard as you, you'll quickly get more passed up in turn...
  7. I wouldn't use them. I've avoided some otherwise great-looking programs because they don't use PayPal...
  8. I still like Cash In On Banners... http://www.cashinonbanners.com/?r=23536
  9. There's another reason I think is happening all the time... It took me ages to notice this, but very often with sites that use php scripts (and a lot of them do) advertising in an iframe such as a traffic exchange or mailer seems, for some reason, to remove your personal affiliate link. Take the site below as an example: http://instantads4.me/index.php?r=davepilgrim Now, if you click on the link it tells you right next to the 'Join Now' button that your sponsor is Dave Pilgrim (that's me) but if I add the same link to a traffic exchange, or a rotator like Pageswirl, my name is replaced with the site-owner's name, Frank Salinas. I'm not saying site owners do this deliberately... I suspect some might not even be aware of the issue, but there must be hundreds of people promoting their affiliate links and not getting referrals for this reason. Sometimes it's more subtle and might not become apparent until the signup page which appears after clicking on the front page, as is the case with this link: http://www.downlinetrafficbuilder.com/?davepilgrim This link doesn't contain a 'php' element but the signup page does, and again, if it's added to a traffic exchange, the referrer's name will disappear from the signup form. Confusingly, there are php links which don't seem to have this problem. This one, for example... http://rockettextads.com/splashpage.php?ref=davepilgrim ...works fine, and retains my name as referrer on both the squeeze page and the more detailed second page if viewers choose that option. As a layperson I have no idea why these issues happen, but they can usually be got around by using a simple splash page which opens your affiliate link in a new window.
  10. Several people have commented on this forum that they don't like surfing traffic exchanges, and prefer to get traffic by referring others. Well, here's a great little program that builds downlines for you in multiple traffic exchanges while simultaneously promoting your three favourite websites or affiliate links. http://tebuilder.com/te1/davepilgrim Oh, and you also get free advertising when you join, too. The site offers banner ads, text ads, solo emails and login ads. http://tebuilder.com/te1/davepilgrim
  11. What changed? Did this just stop working (and do you know why) or did you just find more lucrative offers to promote?
  12. Depends which TEs you use. I surf Dark Hits almost daily. It has a 1:1 ratio and a 5 second timer if you're a free member, so you're getting one visit to your splash/squeeze page for every site you view... and with a well designed, attention-grabbing page, five seconds is easily enough time.

Here's a page I bookmarked some time ago but haven't used yet... I think you might find it useful... https://viralpdf.com
  14. I'm definitely a big fan of banner ads. A well-designed banner catches the eye and compels you to click on it. They're also a very efficient method of advertising which you can set up quite quickly and leave, as opposed to, say, article marketing for example.
  15. I am a big fan of free banner ads. There are TONS of sites where you can set 'em and forget 'em and it doesn't take up too much time. If you use them to promote similar sites you will get a lot of people joining those sites for free, and some of them will naturally upgrade. This won't make you wealthy in itself, but will bring you enough income to start reinvesting and scaling up your business.
  16. One site I try to visit every day is TrafficG, simply because if you surf more than 5 sites you are automatically entered into that day's draw for 3,000 credits. I seem to win surprisingly often, which is worth one minute of daily surfing!
  17. Just as an aside as to how powerful this program can be, I joined a similar program, AdsClicksProfits, ages ago. Like Rocket Text Ads, ACP allows you to mail everyone who joins after you. That means I now have more than 5,000 members who I can mail regularly without any credits and without having done any work to recruit them! Now, Rocket Text Ads only has a few hundred members right now... That's why I would advise getting in now because if this program also gets thousands of members in a year or two, that's going to be a big list!
  18. WIN ADVERTISING AND CASH! Traffic Domination is still quite a new traffic exchange with a lot of potential. On Sunday 12th June there'll be a surfing competition and the top 5 surfers will win advertising and cash! See you there? http://trafficdomination.info/?rid=19
  19. Hey, Troy! Hope you like it! It's a very active site - my banners are getting a lot of views right now... I've not been a member that long but my banners have already had nearly 3,000 views and still coming thick and fast
  20. This program is free to join and gives you $200 in free advertising when you sign up. http://hoppinghits.com/index2.php?r=davepilgrim You get banner ads, text ads, solo email ads and INSTANT COMMISSIONS on your referrals' upgrades and purchases. http://hoppinghits.com/index2.php?r=davepilgrim
  21. Yes, this is a nice little program you can just add your banners to and forget about for lifetime traffic.
  22. Here's another excellent free banner advertising site which also gives you text and solo ads, too. http://hotcakebuttons.com/index.php?referid=davepilgrim Watch out for the excellent value OTO... http://hotcakebuttons.com/index.php?referid=davepilgrim
  23. I agree, Larry, this is a great program. Been a member for a while now and haven't really pushed it, but have recently come back to it and am now promoting it again.
  24. This is my absolute favourite traffic exchange and the one I use most regularly. http://darkhits.com/?rid=59986 For one thing, it has a 1:1 surf ratio for free members and a 5 second timer. Now, I know some people think a longer timer is better but I totally disagree. 5 seconds is ample time to grab someone's attention with an eye-catching squeeze page... any longer than that is a waste of time. Besides, with longer surf timers most people will 'power-surf' several TEs simultaneously so won't actually view your ads for the required 10, 15 or 20 seconds anyway. Short timers can encourage people to surf one site at a time, so your ad actually gets noticed MORE, not less. http://darkhits.com/?rid=59986 This site also has a VERY affordable monthly upgrade option which gives you a 2 second timer and a 1:2 ratio, so your site gets viewed twice for every site you surf - believe me, this upgrade racks up MASSIVE amounts of credits in a ridiculously short time! And because it's a well-used TE your credits get used fast, unlike some sites where you just get a trickle of traffic each week... I thoroughly recommend Dark Hits http://darkhits.com/?rid=59986 Dave Pilgrim
