  1. I would ask them: Are you giving your prospects useful information about your business, or just shouting out how great it is? How do you make money when 95% are not? Stop doing the same thing they are! The First Rule of Marketing is to position yourself against your competition. If one person in a crowd starts waving a red flag they immediately stand out. But if 10,000 people start waving red flags it becomes impossible to pick out one individual. Stop selling and start telling. Instead of hawking your offer like everyone else is doing start offering people information that will help them in their business... then offer your product as a solution to their problem. They will be more likely to trust you and people like to do business with people they trust and that have an interest in helping them solve their problems. Write text ads, emails, articles, give away free reports and ebooks... give your potential customers something of value. Change your mindset to sell something to that of helping others get what they need to succeed and you will succeed.
  2. I was shocked that all of Troy's sites suddenly disappeared. I especially miss Vital Viral Pro. Curiously, I had just spoken to him on the phone in England the month before and had no hint that anything was wrong. I tried calling him again and got no answer. I assumed that health issues must have been the issue but I have not been able to find anyone that knows what happened to him. I contacted Paul Kinder, one of his business partners, telling him that I was concerned about him but he never replied. I wonder if he may have died. It seems that he could have sold his sites for a considerable amount of money. I would really like to know what happened.
  3. Thank you, Maryanne, for your very insightful rant (I mean that in a good way). I am a member of every one of your sites ( I think, you have so many it's hard to keep up with all of them) and being aware of your marketing history and the tremendous effort and expense you go to build, and update, your own scripts I am in awe of your stamina and expertise. I don't know how you do it but I'm glad you do!
  4. Internet marketing is a very wide term which can be used to encompass a variety of marketing techniques which are used online. Banner advertisements, website promotion, search engine optimization, email marketing and affiliate marketing all fall under the umbrella of the term Internet marketing, but there is even more to Internet marketing than those concepts. Promoting your website or business on message boards can also be considered to be Internet marketing. In fact this is one of the simplest and least expensive Internet marketing options available. This article will examine how savvy business owners can use Internet message boards wisely. It will also explain how message boards can be misused and rendered ineffective as well. Message boards are essentially online meeting places. In general most message boards are focused on a particular niche subject and encourage those who share an interest in this particular subject to get together to discuss relevant issues, ask questions, provide advice and even just socialize. Message boards can focus on any subject imaginable, they may focus on a particular baseball team or just the sport of baseball in general. Message boards can focus on subjects such as politics, television shows, bands, current events, jobs, hobbies or any subject under the sun. Savvy Internet marketers can take advantage of these message boards to reach a target audience without investing a great deal of money. Consider a business in which the focus of the business is to assist people in finding jobs which offer telecommute options. The concept of working from home is becoming increasingly popular and there are many websites which focus on this subject. Likewise there are also many message boards devoted to the topic of working from home. On those message boards those with an interest in the subject meet to discuss issues such as finding employment where working from home is an option, working around the schedule of children, setting up a home office, dealing with friends or family members who don’t respect your working hours and paying taxes on freelance assignments. A business owner who actively participates in this message board can take the opportunity to post a link to his website when it is relevant and offers something of value to the conversation. He or she may also pick up useful tips and information as well. This is worthwhile because the message board features a high concentration of your target audience members. When using message boards to promote your business, it is important to ensure you are following the rules associated with the message boards. Message boards may have restrictions regarding the posting of links and failure to abide by these restrictions may result in you being banned from the message board. For this reason it is important for anyone who is interested in using message boards for promotion of their business to carefully read the terms of use to ensure they are not violating any of the rules. It is also important to simply use common sense when promoting your business on a message board. Just because the rules do not restrict posting links, does not mean you should spam the board with your link. Take care to only include your link when it is relevant. This will prevent message board users from assuming your link is just worthless spam. Finally, when using message boards to promote your business it is important to be courteous to other message board users and to keep all posts professional. This is important because you and your business are much more likely to be taken seriously if you act professionally and responsibly. You should maintain this degree of professionalism even in posts which do not include your business link. This is important because other message board participants will remember you by your user name and will not be likely to take you seriously if you have previously made posts which were offensive, mean spirited or inaccurate. So always be professional and courteous at all times, and with all postings. Aboard advertising is also a very effective method for promoting your business online. It doesn't have the restrictions of message board advertising because, as the name implies, it is specifically set up for purposes of advertising. If you are considering adboards as a means to advertise I recommend that you check out Adboard hurricane. You can post your ad to over 100 viral ad boards for free. And not only that, Ad board Hurricane has set up a downline builder so you can build downlines in all these adboards. Definitely something worth considering.
  5. Looks like you are ready to "break some new ground". I started a new site a few days ago and have been advertising it on ad boards, and a few safelist and traffic exchanges. To my surprise, I have been getting subscribers every day, and even a few signups. I call it $5 Biz Opps. I currently have three $5 instant pay programs and am adding one more. I think the reason it is doing so well is the low startup cost along with the built-in income growth potential. It is http://5dollarbiz.ml if you want to take a look. I also provide a ton of free advertising and training for my members. Good Luck
  6. Hi Tommie, Frank Salinas just made me a JV partner at all of his sites (7 of those above). I was considering how to promote his sites when I was introduced to Instant Cash Flow Funnel and got my answer. Great program. Think I may have joined under you, not sure.
