  1. Did you receive a virus from a safelist or something? If so do you have a program or list of safelist programs we should avoid?

In the past when i used Windows, & MacOS, it happened and i was a victim with my data held hostage by a virus (and it didn't matter how i got infected). i played the "whack-a-mole" version of using anti-viral software... and avoiding other anti-viral solutions ... and lost good and meaningful data in the futile exercise.

But the scam warnings others have experienced and shared, the knee jerk reaction of one killing power to the computer possibly damaging the hard drive itself, and the incomplete protection tips left by yet another member all screamed VICTIMIZED by design from the proprietary operating systems that runs the computer at the lowest level.

That's why i posted the missing solution/tip of changing the OS software to the free/libre ones that nips such problems "in the bud", by design.

Currently, no, my computer does not receive viruses unawares.  and changing the OS was the solution i found to be most effective.

  2. Greetings.

If you are using Windows, MacOS, and even Ubuntu operating systems, your computer is getting hacked on every day.

Do your computing in a GNU/Linux OS environment that puts your freedom as a user in the #1 spot of priority.  The list of gratis OSs you can sample without ruining your installed OS are here: gnu.org/distros/free-distros.html

i bet this problem won't be an issue as it NEVER was with me.

    I recommend PureOS or Trisquel.

    FWIW.

  3. Hi Tommy :)

I know you're answering Edward, but I'm curious, and its always good to know if there's a problem, so, may I ask your reason for saying that please?

Yes Tommy, please explain why you don't recommend any investment of money.

Unfortunately such a statement brings up quite a number of questions that i hope you're prepared to answer with evidence...

  4. You are accurate.   I did not pay 0.07BTC   Then it came back another still asking for 0.07BTC.  I just ignore it because I don't really understand what's its all about.. To me hack is a bad thing to do.

Actually, on the contrary, hacks are great when it benefits others to freedom... freedom to not sin. :-)

  5. This site    came  to my browser but I do not know where it come from.  I checked it  on  http://www.badbitcoin.org   can't find anything on it.

I am just wondering if anyone had encounter with this one. This is about it.

    Who we are

We are a team of crackers who are very interested in the innovative digital currency - Bitcoin and strongly believe in it's future. We do not like the fact that in the Bitcoin client exists a security flaw and we hope that our website will help to fix this security issue.

    What we do

We find bugs in different mining pools and use them for our own purposes. We found a security flaw and we hope that our website will share some wealth to others.

    Is this tool free

Yes. Try it for yourself. No download required.

    Why share this for free

Because the Bitcoin developers have neglected our security concerns and we decided to release this to public so they can take action NOW!

OK. But why not use this only for yourself?

We have plenty of Bitcoins, thank you for your concern. Our mission is greater than that! We wish for the bankers to fall on their knees and free Humanity from financial slavery. That's why it's needed for as many people as possible to have Bitcoins. In Bitcoin we see the Revolution!

Yesterday  out of curious  I try it and my security device did not stop me so I guess its ok  and it  seem that it made me 1.55bitcoin  and it requested for  0.07.....  I forgot the exact amount to be paid to them before it deliver into my account..   I had not enough fund so I did not pay..  Along the line  yesterday  had  15.74 (my currency) and today its left with  11.67   and I am not sure if it  has something to do with it (mining from my account lol)

Now its coming back again  I am trying it again to see what happen next.

Its message box  looks suspicious too adds more curiousity only 3 people at the time .  I wrote something  and it was not posted

Please share your experience.if you have.

    So, help me understand:

+ you clicked the link and it began generating bitcoin, 1.15BtC?

+ Then it asked you for 0.07BtC in order for them to give it to you the 1.15BtC hacked? (Suspicion #1)

What about in your BtC wallet, was there a transaction log entry recorded? (Suspicion #2 if there was none)

Does the wallet balance coincide with the amt promised you? (Suspicion #3 if it didn't)

Finally, was it a scam all along, since you paid the 0.07BtC?

(Suspicion #4 -- Why can't they deduct the 0.07BtC from the hack and give you the 1.07BtC instead? They pocket the 0.07BtC "hack fee:, and you get the difference.  If Bitcoin is NOT a Bitcoin, then i understand the scam.  If a Bitcoin IS a Bitcoin whether it's hacked or not, i don't understand the "fee")

    Questions questions.

  6. Thanks for all of the great feedback. Glad you guys like this site, as well.

I just wanted to let you know about another feature that I find particularly useful on this site.

Each week, the site offers a 2x or 3x reward points (RP) promotion. This means that you get even more reward points for every roll.

If you turn off the option to put your reward points towards buying lottery tickets (go to Profile > Disable Lottery), you can get enough points quickly to purchase a FREE BTC Bonus.

That boosts the amount of bitcoin that you get on each roll by 10%, 50%, 100%, 500% or 1000% depending on whichever option you select.

The FREE BTC Bonus is good for 24 hours or a maximum of 24 rolls!

By getting extra bitcoin on every roll, you can accumulate bitcoin even faster.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for the reminder.

On that site, it's easy to X out the notices after it displays once. I may have gone overboard X'ing things out i missed this one.

  7. Bitcoin wallet from and that is not from coinbase right? How much have you been paid to your PayPal account if I may ask.?

That is correct: it has absolutely NOTHING to do with coinbase.

Yet CoinChimp is more secure and keeps your privacy at its premium.

Coinbase will audit your account and report your earnings to the IRS or its equivalent in whatever country you reside... and they'll get paid for it, too!

I have been paid to my PayPal account the equivalent of the BtC to USD price at the time of exchange when i requested it.
