  1. Job done . ....and an engaged, active moderator - good stuff. Thanks Capt'n. (addendum: I've just added a summary page for Marketing Checkpoint to the directory site. It can be found under SMM (Social Media Marketing) - Forums. Any comments, suggestions and even edits welcome. Thanks)
  2. Hi. Glad you found them of interest. you are correct that BeBee leads with freelancing and job-search, however, they began as a general network before realising they would do better by specialising. They do still have broader networking, however, and since most of the members will now be freelancers and those seeking other employment/opportunities, it could be a good space to use. Also, they use internal blogs in preference to short status updates, so is good for those more content focused (much better for linkbacks). This is from their homepage: Connections through common interests Connect with professionals with whom you share hobbies and interests arrow_right_alt beBee Groups provide an opportunity for you to network with like-minded professionals in your industry, potential customers, prospects and even existing clients. Groups can be used to brand yourself as a personal but professional authority in your niche. Platform to create your own Blog Reach 100% of your followers arrow_right_alt beBee is a publishing platform where people can read important, insightful stories on the topics that matter most to them and share ideas with the world. arrow_right_alt By creating your free account, you can follow your favorite authors and publications, interact with their stories, publish your own posts, and more. arrow_right_alt Blogging is your main means of communication giving the fact it reveals your personality, mindset, and intellect. 3. It will be because of how your rotator service codes itself. Most have a main frame which will have, for instance, the rotator bar at the top of the page, usually carrying another members banner or text ads in the free versions. Then, your page is called up within an iframe inside that page. So, when you then submit this to a TE or safelist, the verification will detect these. Most won't allow them as the TE/Mailer itself also uses an iframe within the page to deliver your page, so simply too many frames. I use EasyHits4U splash page creator/hosting, delivered thorugh the EH4U rotator and have no problem wherever I post it. I guess it must be because they create the top bar through other coding (CSS probably) instead of a frame.
  4. Browsing through the forums here tonight and I found this one which put me in mind of years gone past and how the marketing landscape seems to have shifted. Anyone else remember Ezines? It's not a term we see much of anymore. Is it that they have gone out of fashion, or perhaps they have just been replaced by blogs and vlogs. closely linked is Article submission and syndication sites. The big beast was EzineArticles.com and see that they are still going. Not a bad alexa rank either. This surprised me, so maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. Is anyone still using article submission for link-building and/or personal branding?
  5. Most, if not all, TE's would have 'no-follow' so in fact, Google doesn't know or care how many times your page/s are seen on exchanges (or any other similar advertising service). This is why the only conceivable use of auto-surfs is actually completely redundant. Actually.....that's not quite correct......Google does care - if you get caught showing a page with Google ads (AdSense) on, and they do check, then you get your AdSense account banned. Don't misunderstand me. I use TEs daily. The direct results aren't brilliant, but for me it is about awareness and branding. I just mention the above as it is another major reason why using splash, landing and squeeze pages is the way to go on exchanges.
  6. EH4U has for a number of years been my go to TE and still the only one I'm upgraded at. The value is exceptional. My main business is only good in the UK and uniquely, I can geo-target my splash page there. Then, by putting it with a couple of other sites in a rotator, I'm getting all UK traffic from ALL the other exchanges and mailers, etc going to that page, whilst international traffic isn't wasted on a page they can do nothing with.
  7. A few of lesser known ones - befilo, MeWe and BeBee

    Zing

I tried googling Zing.......do you mean Xing? Used to be a very good networking site, always chasing the tail of LinkedIn. Still seems pretty good but is now more a mainstream recruitment space, mostly for it's German home base
  9. I'm a member at LL but haven't fully explored (it would seem). My main program is only available for the UK so I currently use EasyHits4U, TrafficG & WebmasterQuest for their Geo-targeting. Does LL allow geo-targeting in their tracker/rotator links then? I'm upgraded at EasyHits4U so currently use a splashpage hosted there that is Geo-targeted in a rotator. Posting that link at other exchanges means that UK surfers will almost always get my UK splash page whilst others get one of the other pages in the rotator. It would be so good though if I could get the LL tracking combined with geo-targeting net-wide.
  10. I'm surprised not to see ApSense mentioned more often. It is very internet marketing friendly with many different ways to integrate promotions with standard networking amongst other business folk. Great for reaching online business people of all kinds too, not just fellow internet marketers. The integrated promo channels include such thngs as a business centre, articles, spotlights, posts/ads that are then offered across all members in return for credit points......they even have their own internal traffic exchange. All this for FREE too. Of course, it goes further for an upgrade, but it certainly isn't necessary to get some really good use out of the site. The only downside, IMHO, is that the many groups are rarely well monitored so they often become simple ad-posting spots.
  11. I made a payment in BTC yesterday to a program that only offered CoinPayments, which does seem to be the most widely used. However, I was gobsmacked by the transaction fees. I hadn't verified my CoinPayments to take top ups from my debit card, so, as i had BTC in Coinbase, I thought I'd save time and transfer from Coinbase to CoinPayments, then make payment. That transfer wasn't too bad, but when I came to then make the payment to the end program, a $25 value payment ( roughly 0.0006 BTC) attracted a transaction fee of an additional 0.0004 BTC (approx)!!! I was gobsmacked but, since I was determined to join this particular program - https://www.yourownleadsnow.com/?andybarnes I gritted my teeth and did a further transfer to cover the amount. My advice, in the interests of your client wellbeing, if you can find an alternative to CoinPayments, I would do so. As a newbie to things Crypto, I prefer to keep my coins in Coinbase as in and outside of internet Marketing, they do seem to be by far, the most trusted platform.
  12. Firstly, it sounds like your program and/or the funnel you are using is very good. Those are very good results from a fairly small mailing. However, the saying 'if it sounds too good....' springs to mind. You only have to look at the membership numbers of the leading marketing services we all use to realise 10million is either an out-and-out lie or is simply a mass spamming excercise. With Herculist as the largest safelist managing, I believe, around 80,000 even through mega-blasters and EasyHits4U, the largest membership trafficX at around 1.5million, where exactly did you think these 10million 'leads' were coming from???
  13. There is a very simple definition: If a company has no product...charges for membership.....only pays commission to those who have paid membership......then It is is PONZI Scheme!
