Some owners will outright delete your account, I won't delete your account but you will be set to bounced mode and won't receive mails, so it is just counter-productive.

Hi Morgan, welcome to the forum and thanks for your question. It needs to be family friendly, so if someone is viewing ads - they can feel comfortable having their family of all ages around. So if say the landing page (or banner) has no questionable content on it directly then I have no issue with it linking to something else that will only be seen if they expressly choose that. Obviously some people are more easily offended than others, I'm more in the camp of not being easily offended, but sometimes this has to be taken on a case-by-case basis.

Hmm, it sounds like you requested to cancel well before your trial was even over, so you should not have been charged in the first place - rightfully it should definitely be refunded. This must be some misunderstanding, I will send this to Jon and hopefully they can get it resolved for you.

I agree if you paid to use a service for a set time frame that you should receive that service or be refunded somehow, but yea the Internet is still much like the wild west in a lot of regards and in most cases that is a good thing - apart from scams of course.

The thing is, most payment processors, ESPECIALLY PayPal are totally against "Lifetime" memberships, and for exactly the reasons you stated - the customer can always state that something was not delivered because you can't expect all those sites to be around forever. People still sell them anyway because it is easier to make the sale.

When most sites go offline it means the owner has also disappeared, so it would seem that would be incredibly difficult. I'm more annoyed by sites that are still online but don't pay due commissions to their affiliates.
