  1. And here we are, a year later going strong with 4000+ members and after delivering a million of views.
  2. I am also having trouble. I clicked the given audio option. Then I see this message. "Your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now. For more details visit our help page". What I do is complete the puzzle, click the verify button then wait for 20-30 seconds before clicking the login button. It works more often not. Some sites provide alternate verification options. Some are not.
  3. Herculist does not offer much to free members though. I am a pro member at Herculist and I have mailed 3 times to promote my new site this month. I have got 37 hits and 3 sign ups. When I used to be a Gold member, I was allowed to mail in HTML as I love to mail in HTML. But Pro membership does not have that feature. Still won't complain with 3 sign ups.
  4. I could have given away sign up bonus. But it is dangerous especially when you are promising 100 clicks. When you are giving away sign up credits, it is not an issue since you don't promise any clicks on that. It was a struggle to get some ads in the system earlier on. Now there is at least 150 ads in the system for the new and existing members to click and post their first message.
  5. Given if a membership has over 3000 members, I would prefer mailing to 3000 every 3 days + extra using credits. At one go, you can reach all members rather than missing out some members.
  6. Good to see adtroopers back with new script. Makes it easier to use when you don't have to login another email account.
  7. Like Darren said what matters at end of the day is results. 5 credits per click, only 3 links at a time and letting free members to reach no more than few hundred members may not help free members. IMO, Owners should give little more value to free members who are clicking. So they will stick with them. Then again it should not go beyond the limit.
  8. Wow! Thanks for the warning! I have been seeing it promoted quite immensely but I did not look much into it. But it is always a warning sign when a program does not have Paypal as it's primary payment processor.
  9. I heard from a mailer owner who tried their service. It's a SCAM.
  10. Lesser fields will increase conversion rate. But in the long run and to build relationship with subscribers, I feel it is better to collect people's name to send personalised message regardless of whether they know it is an automated message or not. 'Hello gnana' catches my attention more often than 'hello there'. It is annoying when someone sends me with a subject line "Download is READY for xyz@gmail.com" There is a high chance of people considering it as a spam and ignoring it. It would be nice to see if someone has split-tested and have stats.
  11. I take advantage of HTML feature all the time to send my ads if a site has HTML option and allows me to use. Things to consider when using colors. 1, Don't use colors that are bad to eyes. 2, Don't use too many colors. I prefer using 2 or 3 colors and no more than that. Also use bold and increase the size of the text. Look at how others are creating email swipes with HTML and see if that catches your attention. Then you may add that to your choices for creating an email swipe. Only con I have heard about HTML is that rate of mails ending up in spam folder may be high. But I am not sure of it.
  12. ^ I agree with above comment. It is a waste of time to compile a list. Only more sites will add up to the list. I think it is better to make a research and spend cautiously on Advertising. Plenty of well established Advertising sites are out there already.
  13. Well! I am disappointed too! There were complaints about him of not paying members' commission. He could have done well with one site. But he kept on launching one after another. I am happy he shut down all his sites instead of keeping them on and ripping off more people.
  14. Well! Convert credits to banner or text impression when you more credits. But 250k is too much to have. Would not it be nice if members are given an opportunity to convert their credits for an upgrade?
  15. Seriously Offline MLM programs have a bad name here. Talk about creating rift between family and friends. The problem is they gather people in a deceptive way saying they will get you a job, etc. People fall for it without knowing what they are into. Then inside a room brainwashing starts.
  16. I am getting mails from both the sites. I guess it's alright now.
  17. Exactly Steve. The risk is high. I get 500 monthly leads from my EuropeanSafelist upgrade. But I never use them.
  18. It will be promoted all over the place until another one launches of that kind.
  19. Well! There are other ones like Safelistprox and IPL Script. I heard IPL Script has lots of bugs and you probably need a programmer to fix it.
  20. I checked and found out that Sep 14th was the last time I received credit mail from DBD. So past few weeks I am just sending to no one else. Did you send a support ticket?
  21. Nice post with very valuable points. As for the blog, I would say it is better to register a domain and make blog posts than using free blogging sites. Because you should not be blogging at their mercy.
