  1. I joined it in the beginning and it was only $5 to get started. Then it changed and turned to a $10 monthly. That wasn't bad but the more I looked into the parts of the program everyone of them has an additional cost. These additional cost will either keep more people from joining, or cause the people who joined to get out if they are not able to refer people. at first I really liked it. It does give some FB training but you can get this training anywhere.
  2. This is becoming to, to familiar. What is wrong with these people? This is why it is getting harder and harder to try to show new comers to the net that everyone is not a crook!!!
  3. Wow, I just tried to login to Leased Ad Space and only got was an error page. Have any of you who might be members there received the same error message? I hope it was only a fluke? Sound off if you have any answers, Thanks
  4. This is one of the best payment processors I have seen and experienced. Their set up and functionality are awesome. Take a look and see what you think. https://www.orumarketplace.com/register.php?refcode=DRM6576
  5. Have any of you ever used Bot Resell at https://www.botresell.com/ where they sell scripts at a low cost, no resell packages. They have a large supply of programs that they will sell for you personal use. I have bought several programs from them and have been very happy with the cost and product I get. Again these are not scripts to resell but one can build an extensive library of the best programs offered out there. Everything was great until my last order. The way they operate is that there are no refunds but they offer you another product at the same cost. Their customer service usually responds to any type of problems within one to two days. With my last order I never received my product purchase and all my efforts to connect with customer service were futile. No response after 10 support request. I have no idea what has happened but they have never done this before and not responded. I don't if they are having company problems of what. So I decided to reach out to you all to see if you have ever used their services and how was your experience with them. At this point I will not be making any more purchases with them and to send out a casual do not buy warning. I will continue to try to reach them and keep you updated on what is going on with them. Please respond if you have had any history with them. Ok that sit. Looking forward to any comments .
  6. These are the programs I am recommending for my new members because i believe they will need programs like these to get started and have success. We know every marketer eventually will need an auto-responder account. I recommend Buildabizonline because of the cost , the ease of use, and simplicity of using it. For instant success a new list builder just came out and it is teaching 2 very important online processes. 1. It cost to have a business but is shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. 2. Instant money is made proving that you can make money online. This is paramount for new people. For this I recommend MakeMoneyEven. cost $10 but as soon as they join they are rewarded 410 instantly into their account. Now they have a powerful lead generator plus commissions. The next program that is without a doubt the most important, a payment processor. For this I recommend ORU. Paypal has really slowed many of us down. ORU is the answer and you can also promote inside our growing marketplace inside the membership. This is a must and any new person coming into marketing needs this from their entry. Another great business tool for lead generation is My Easy List Builder. It is a simple combination of free tools that helps ad to your list and get easy commissions. The last of my 5 recommendations is SEO Optomiser Pro which is an easy to learn and use SEO builder. These are my recommendations because with so many good programs out there it is easy to get lost. And as with all programs, they begin with free options but I challenge my new people to start out on top. And I show them that they don't have to ad the baby to make the payments. I hope thei help[s.
  7. I saw this thread again and wanted to add another post. Someone earlier mentioned Build A Biz Online. I have been a member there for over 3 years and I have watched the owner Ian, grow it until I believe it is one of the best buys out there for an autoresponder. The low-cost membership really makes BABonline a favorite. This is what you get: 1- The free membership gets you the use of some really good tools like the WYSIWYG editor so you can get started creating your own pages. 2- The basic membership is $5.95 and you get everything which is included in the free membership plus the full autoresponder and higher affiliate commissions plus more. 3- The Pro membership which is the cream of the crop for me. You get everything including a Cpanel for your own website, an advertising blog, and some great free downloads. You can create all the brandable pages you want with tracking included. Banner builders and splash page builders Cloak, brand, and shrink your links.and the autoresponder is unlimited. And if you really want to see all that is available go to: https://www.buildabizonline.com/tool-demo.php?drmehsr All this for only $10.00 per month and it is perfect for new people who really want to build their own business the right way. Oh and since my first month my commissions have paid for my membership and like I said I have been a member for over 3 years.
  8. I have used Matthews sites for a few years now and have to agree that something has been wrong for a while. It's a shame though as it has been said by several people, his sites did have potential. But truthfully, I have to admit I never got any traction from all the ads I ran in his sites. Never not one good lead. Hard to admit I didn't listen to my inner voice, lol. thanks for the info though.
  9. Wow, I see I am not the only one who experiences this and thanks for your feedback. My mother was an English teacher and my pop was a principal so I guess that is what causes me to wonder about grammar in our businesses. I try not to be over critical and understand why some of the grammar is wrong but if you are going to sell me something please double check the grammar, lol. Again thanks for all your feedback it is appreciated. Oh, there is a wonderful free program called Grammarly that runs in your browser and does the same thing spell check does in a word document but Grammarly does it through the browser. So when I am putting an ad in, say a solo ad in a membership site, Grammarly catches the mispelled words and highlights them and provides a correct spelling or suggestion. Right now as I am writing this, Grammarly is at work finding the typos so I can fix them.
  10. I received an email this morning from a gentleman who said he was his team's executive leader. He goes on to explain his role as leader and exactly what it is his program does. But the more he wrote the worst his grammar became making it had to understand exactly what he was saying. He continued using wrong genders, wrong verbs and adjectives, and misspelling words to the point you just could not even begin to guess what the word was he misspelled. Now I have had several people tell me that correct grammar is not always a problem and using a wrong spelled word here or there can help generate more traffic. Maybe so, but if you start out telling me you are the top of the totem pole, all things come directly through you, and if you are the chief builder for your groups, then I feel like you must do a better job when sharing your program because you have an elevated position as leader. And as the leader I feel like you should do to the best of your ability to share the biz concepts in a way it helps and not hurts. If he uses a spell checker the typos and just misspelled words will be corrected. Your ideas and how you can help others will be clear. And by you taking the time to make sure the majority of your message stands and echos your position as leader. Really, after reading his post, I just couldn't join his program because of how he expressed himself. What do you think? Am I being too hard or over critical? Is grammar as important to sharing the message in a clear way that doesn't require a translator from the bad grammar? Or do you feel it is important at all? I really want to hear your views. My mother was an English teacher, so I was taught from my early childhood till today that grammar is important as a key to your message. Sound off Please!!
  11. Hey I want to add a bit to this conversation. A year or 2 ago a friend and decided to run a little test to see which were the most responsive, the new smaller mailers or the large well-established mailers. we were somewhat surprised by our results. We posted in sites that were over 1000 members versus sites that were either new and less than 200 members more or less. What we found was that the smaller sites outdid the larger sites and we believe it was because in the smaller sites the members actually took the time to read the mail. Our tracking testified to this as well. In the larger sites, people were only concerned with clicking for credits to mail their own mail. So you would get a lot of clicks but no sales and certainly no sign-ups. Remember they were only concerned with the credits. The smaller sites converted better and the sign-up rate was better. Now I still use the larger sites in my marketing but use a different strategy in the larger list. i guess the saying "Less Is More'" is right in the instance.
  12. Yes it does seem to have the same structure that Leased Ad Space has and since I am a member of Leased Ad Space I decided not to join but find something a little different. And leased Ad Space is good but I got frustrated with it because no matter how high a level I paid for, they never placed any one in my lower levels which would have paid me a commission. Every single person the system placed was always above me. I just didn't understand why they left holes below me and kept filling every level above me. Don't get me wrong, I like the program and have spent money there. I just don't like how the system places people who are said to be yours. It was almost like forcing me to upgrade and I might have. But why upgrade when the pattern is always placing members above my level. Again, I like the site but didn't like the referral placement.
  13. That’s some great advice Darren. And I agree there should be some kind of refund. But like you said, when the site goes down so do many of the owners. I have been a member of most of your sites and it’s great to see them continuing to prosper. Keep up the great work young man.
  14. First of all I wasn't speaking as an expert on https. I was speaking about the experiences I have had with it thus far. Those are my experiences and true to me. And if you read my post accurately I was sharing my lack of knowledge because of the many different ways https is being presented. And you pretty much confirmed my final comments about the different levels of https and how it can be applied to cover our sites. Never once did I even try to speak as an expert. But I did speak things that are true to me. And form your comments you did the same.
  15. I understand the good about having the https verses the http but it really is starting to seem like a money thing to me. Some people say the https is inexpensive but I see it listed on sites like godaddy and others for more than 49.00 per site. So if someone just happens to have quite a few sites this cost can be extremely high. and now some sites I advertise on and have been advertising on for years will not accept the https in the ad checkers. And unless you take the s off the https, which doesn't work for every link, you cannot run your ad. So after purchasing the https I can't use it in sites I use all the time. The next point is that there appear to be different levels of https that can be bought. I have seen it as low as 9.99 per site. so which is best and is there really any difference or is this just another way for the big dogs of cyberspace to control things even more. Now one of the most reasonable discussions I have heard is that if you are an affiliate you should not have to worry about the https because it is the site owners obligation to purchase the https which will protect you, theoretically, because it is the site owner who is handling all the saved data in the site. Now I own 33 domains and most handle only minimal information and it is believed that I should be ok. But, I am thinking that maybe I should at least have a could of https sites and have any purchases customers make would run through those sites. It would require an extra step on my end of a purchase but it might also cause a couple of extra steps on the customers' end which could also cause a problem. Anyway I like the discussion because it is something that I believe all of us will have to deal with in the future.
  16. Has anyone used Yellow Brick Mailer? I decided to join them around 2 months ago because after reading what they offered, it seemed to be a good investment in time, advertising, and money. My first 2 days I started bringing in referrals and creating commissions for myself. In 2 days I had accumulated $74.00. A friend of mine invited me and we both had accumulated the same amount. That was good but they will not pay me or her our commission. I have sent 5 emails in the past 2 weeks and they have not responded one way or another. In my latest email I told them if they did not respond in some form or fashion I would start letting people know about how they refuse to pay referral commissions. They have all these payment proofs but don't seem to pay. So I guess the proofs are fake. If any of you have dealt with them, please respond so I can find out if I am the only one.
  17. stv77 I really don't have a favorite because most do about the same thing and the % average is about the same. Now that's not to say that some are not better than others because they are. But one method I use that never fails me is this. I watch the people I have seen strong over the years. Here are just a few names I always watch. Darren Orlander- Stop smiling Darren, you know your sites good. Maryann Myers- She has been very successful and has a network of sites. Check her out and choose which ones you like. Matthew Graves- Matthew is building a strong network that have good functionality in each site. You can work in his entire network in just one of his sites. And I always get decent results through his sites. Marty Petrizza- She also has been very successful and has a network of sites. Check her out and choose which ones you like. Tommie Kirkland (Captkirk)- I like to follow Captain even if I don't join because he uses some really great programs. Follow successful people to be successful right. There are other but i just wanted to name a few. Here are a few programs I will mention though: Guaranteed Solos I really like this one because of the guaranteed 300 + unique IPs that see your message. This is with every solo. I like this one also when I am starting something new. For me sometimes I just use the site to allow people to see what is coming even if they don't click the ad. http://guaranteedsolomails.com/?r=drmehsr ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Joseph Freyaldenhoven's Team Elite Home Businesses Joe has a network called Team Elite that is huge and comes with everything. http://teamelitehomebusinesses.com/drmehsr ---------------------------------------------------------------------- European Safelist I get a massive ad blast anytime I promote anything here. Their membership is over 16,000 and I use these guys especially when I am starting a new program. The ad blast gets your mnessage out there. The membership I have is only $6 per month I get a free solo ad every month Plus 500 leads that I can mail to in their autoresponder that I use for free. http://europeansafelist.com/s.php?drmehsr Again, these are just a few that I get good results in. Hope that helps a bit
  18. All you gentlemen have made such good points. I would like to add to Steve's comments to. What I do is when I join any mailer, traffic exchange, if I upgrade it will be because the offer is so good I couldn't leave it.Then I promote the heck out of it until I make my money back and from that point, i post to the sites that product the most. I have found that some small sites out performed the bigger ones because the people in the smaller sites actually took the time to view my messages verses members in the larger site usually just click for credits and have no intention of reading anything. And if I join any new sites not it is because the owner has the ability to attract large memberships and I get my best results during pre launch of on launch day.
  19. I think getting traffic is the easy part. There are all kinds of ways to do that. I believe the more important question should be how to get that traffic to convert into a sales. You could have a million people visit your site and if none buys, what difference did it make how they got there. But if you have only 1000 and you get 30% conversion rate, you have done far better than having the million visitors and no sales. Getting sales is another topic in itself. But I have learned the hard way that building a list, even a small list can work great and then wash and repeat or continue to build. The amazing thing is that you can have the best offer online, the very best ad copy available, and still not make a sale or build your list. Why? Truthfully because it takes a little time. It has been well documented that it might take the average customer surfing online to see your ad at least 5 times before they even see it. And sometimes even more. So that means that you might have to run that ad multiple times in the same place before it is seen. It's funny, I use to fuss all the time about seeing the same ad 20 or 30 times in certain mailers and exchanges. That is until I found out why I was seeing it so much. And just watch around in here. It took me 10 times seeing Captkirk's fun guppy ad before i decided to check it out to see what it was. Same thing with Darren. I am in a number of his programs. I had seen the ads before but it was the last one that got me and i joined and upgraded. That's how it works. Please don't get me wrong. Every now and then you will hit a home run and be in the right place at the right time but these things don't occur enough to make a real difference. So, what I do is this. I advertise my offers and once I get them on my list I begin my marketing. Advertising shows off what you have. Marketing tells customers why they should buy from you. I hope that helps a little.
  20. Well I agree with everything that has been said especially about if you are planning on trying to make money online don't use free hosting sites. But free hosting sites work well for informational sites. I use weebly for one of my church sites. I had a bad run with my first wordpress site. I mistakenly used a word that they didn't agree on. not a sentence but one word and my site was shut down and lost forever. so after years of searching for the right type of hosting I wanted and my conclusion was to do it myself, and i did. I own my dedicated servers and host all my sites myself. At the present i am hosting 28 sites. And when I need a new domain, I purchase from myself. I also use cPanels to build my sites. I believe this is the best way. And my domains are lower cost than go daddy's especially after you get that 1st domain. the next will double or tripple your cost. With a cPanel you are totally in control and if you are not comfortable using it, you can always find someone who can help. If you want to find out more go to http://mss-mac.com and check out what we do. Once there check out out traditional hosting plus our cpanel hosting.
  21. I have been in empowr for a while now and really knew something was wrong from the start. But when I join programs like these I have a little different agenda. I have joined programs that I knew were scams for one reason. And that reason is that these types of programs seem to draw people like flies. People flock to these bogus sites like steal balls being drawn to a magnet. So I join them because I realize there is am opportunity to show my ads, my programs and offers. And in doing so, I hope to pull some from within the fire of foolishness. You are right. If t sounds too good then 9 times out of 10, it is. But the traffic that comes through these sites is amazing. And every opportunity i get to show a legit offer I do. It's like these matrices. Most are designed to make the owners money and most offer advertising for a sort of product. So when I join I never expect to get my money back, but I do expect to load as many ads and offers as i can. And I must say I have had good results.
  22. Wow , this is a great topic and I have enjoyed reading all your views. i have a different sort of question i would like to add. Do you guys think TE's get the members of the sites more traffic than the mailers? There are times that I have sent out as many as 10,000 mailings and only received minimal views to my ads. Where when I use TE's I would get 10,000 visits for the 10,000 sent, per say. How ever many sites I view I have that many views back to my sites. And for me, the TE's product sometimes more responsiveness than my mailings. I think both are valuable tools is used the right way. I am a member of many of Maryanne's sites, Coach T's, and Darren's to name a few. And I am very happy with the results I get and the results I get correspond to how I use the sites. But I really think if more members who belong to our sites just really understood the effect referrals have have for both owners and members, they would push more to refer more and that would help our sites be more effective. Anyway, thanks for the topic. I never leave these discussions empty and appreciate the honesty showed here. You all Stay Blessed.
  23. I am a web host and offer great hosting and cpanel hosting as well. This is the second time I saw this so I decided to read the terms of service. These accounts are good if you are not really planning on publishing much content. When I read the terms and saw how the customer was responsible for keeping up with his/her bandwidth, and that's just the beginning. I doubt 75 % of markerlters who have websites understand how all this works. They just know it works. The sites are on shared servers and that is a problem just waiting to happen if ones business grows. Then the customer cannot use over 2% of the bandwidth in a 30 second interval or their account might be closed. The customer is responsible for all content and how it works. These will be major problems for some but if a person is looking for a limited site? This is a jewel. My hosting is good. I give a domain with each cpanel and the yearly cost of my cpanels make my customers smile. Wasn't writing this to try to drum up business just checking out the site because many of my custermers ask me to research for them and I do. But if anyone is looking for good hosting just shoot me a email and I will send you a link. But please, share with others to really read the terms and service. As long as they understand they will be ok.
