  1. Does anyone have any information about Hot Website Traffic?  I haven't been able to mail there for a couple of weeks because it says it is full.

I sent support tickets but have gotten no response.  Also, I am not receiving any credit emails from them either which was also part of the

support ticket.  I would like to know what is happening so if you have any information please let me know. Thanks!

  2. I am still using Pay Pal and haven't had any problems with them but there are so many businesses that don't use them any more and I do understand what they have done.  Can any one recommend a Payment processor that can be used anywhere and don't charge a subscription price?

If you have had good experiences buying, selling (receiving your commissions, money) please let me know. Thank you.

  3. So sorry to hear that Cynthia!  No one should be treated that way!  Can't blame you for not joining anything he owns again.

MrCleano325 sai earlier, someone else has bought the program and he is correct.  The admin sent out emails telling people

they can come back to the program.  Once I've lost money and trust I won't go back.

All I can say is Good Luck To the New Owners!  Must be a mess to clean up.

  4. I think if you want to join a program, your due diligence is more important then forming a judgement of the person by their picture.

Do you read people's posts who don't have their picture posted?  I do. You can get a feel for someone by the way they express themselves.

If I had a brick and mortar business, I certainly would not turn down a $500,000.00 contract because I didn't like the other persons face.

Most people who are using avatars do seem to be using the same one all the time so it is easy to recognize who they are when that avatar comes up.

  5. I'm thinking a lot of affiliate programs have the word "free" as part of their advertising and that word is enticing to people,

especially if they are newcomers, to the internet.  Sure it is "free" to sign up, however, once inside the program, they find

out they have to pay to make any money.  I do think it can be misleading.

As far as getting people to upgrade, a welcome email offering to help them, (as has been said) giving them your email address,

and telling them about the program, is certainly letting them know you are available to them.  I don't think selling them is the way

to go, as they are already signed up.  It is now their choice whether they upgrade or not.

Also I find, lots of people signing up for a program think they can work it for free.  Quite a few programs offer a small commission

to free sign ups and they think they will not have to pay to make money.  So maybe telling them what the upgraded benefits are

would help.  Such as, I am an upgraded member and this is what I get from the program.

I would also like to mention here that many affiliate programs have a down line builder which has many more programs to join, which makes

it overwhelming to some people.  Once you join all those programs, you are expected to upgrade also, in order to work the program

properly.  This can run into a fair amount of money.  That may scare people away from the program once they sign up.

In my opinion there is no one way fits all. Trial and error. If something works, keep doing it.

  6. What comes to mind for me when I read the above conversations, is the badly run ones. It seems these days more then any other time, a person starts a program and within no time at all they have 10 more programs up and running.  These they expect you to join also because you joined the first one.

Some of these people just add you to their new programs by them selves.  But then when you send them a support ticket because there is a problem,

they usually answer you but they don't fix the problem.  So it becomes my problem.  I personally think that the people who are running multiple programs as

administrators do not have the time to look after their problems properly or maybe because they have so many people who joined their programs they don't really care if they loose a few.

As far as the scam programs, seems it takes a long, long time, after coming on the net to realize how to spot a scam.  Doing your due diligence is a must, however, sometimes you can go read reviews on the program and those people doing the reviews make it sound like a great program.

Right now there are lots of binary programs in Canada that people are getting scammed on.

  7. I have gotten the message, there are no more ads to be seen, several times now.

This just started happening about a year or so ago as I have belonged to them for a long time.

I sent them  a support ticket asking them about this and saying if they have a million+ members

how is it that there are no more sites available to see?  I was at 97 sites when I started receiving this message

and was unable that night to even get to 100.  So surfing 1000 sites is out of the equation.

    They replied by saying: "

Different times of the day and night makes a difference to how many

ads are available.  If I wanted to upgrade there would be more ads available".

Why would I want to upgrade if there aren't enough ads to even make it to 100?

This is the only TE I have encountered anything like this on free or upgraded!

  8. Lots of food for thought in all your comments.  I live in a rural community where I can't even answer a call.  I can use wifi on the phone.

Mostly I have a cell for for emergency's when traveling the highway though.  I do like my big screen and keyboard on my computer.  I did not buy a lap top because when I sit down to work that's what I do.  I thought a lap top would make it to easy to spend all my time on the computer which

also seems what people are doing with their phones to.  I think we need time away from technical devices.

  9. I agree with Garrett, that safelists are part of a business, not the whole business.

I like Life Time memberships as compared to free member because the more I can mail out the more my ads get seen.

Usually a free member does not get to mail out as often as an upgraded member, plus clicking for credits is so

time consuming and taxing on my data package with my server. And depending on how many mailers you belong to

as a free member, it takes up a lot of time. So yes time is money.

As a Life Time Member, I think it would be important to click for some credits, not because you need them but because

you belong to the site and it keeps the site going.

Since I do not own a Safe List my thoughts are that if a member takes a Life Time membership, they may be more likely to

promote that site to get referrals who most likely will not upgrade to Life because it was to expensive, or maybe not offered at that time

or satisfied to take a lower upgrade to suit their budget.

I do not see Life Time Memberships offered all the time so when they are offered as a OTO once in awhile it isn't all members

who grab it at that time and I would think the owner would enjoy that lump some of money.
