  1. Good Day Everyone I know building a list is an important part of running a business, however, I presently do not have an autoresponder. I do have a list to some extent. Is their an autoresponder, that it is possible to put the names on my list into one at a time? How do I put names into an autoresponder which are sent to me from another company in file format? If I do not have an autoresponder, would I be able to send mail directly from gmail or is that considered spam? These may seem like silly questions, however, if I don't know I am sure someone here does. Thanks for your knowledge
  2. Hi blueunicorn2 I really don't think 12second commute could be called a scam, I just think the owner keeps trying to make it bigger and better. He seems to have some good ideas, however, I think he could of gotten all his ideas together, talked to his tech and put it all together before he launched. There have been changes in several programs in the recent past but that was because other things had to be changed like severs, payment processors etc. So good time to make other changes as well. And I do think all the payment requests from 12second commute is also part of not being able to set an amount and stick to it. So the members are basically paying for the upgrades. He kept all the members updated on a consistent basis, however, I got the impression from the updates, there was some confusion there. We are all learning and some people figure its better to put your ideas into action so they don't disappear. Guess the ticks need to be worked out first before it goes live. I consider it money lost. How many people haven't lost money online or bought something that turned out to be not what they thought it was going to be?
  3. Yes, I have asked twice at Wild Hog Hits about six months ago and have seen nothing.
  4. This is good information to know, thanks. Wouldn't it be nice if all programs had a preview feature before you mail.
  5. I to Love my paypal account. It sadens me to read they do not think TE's and safelists are real business's. A lot of work and time go into these two businesses. Also I read they do not think people earning money from PPC's is a legitimate business. I wonder if they have any knowledge how much time is spent clicking ads. I do also have Payza, however, I have been somewhat concerned about them since their last confusion.
  6. Took your suggestion and filled my sig file Captkirk! Congrats on becoming a Staffer!
  7. Hi mrclean0325 Thanks for your knowledge. I joined 12secondcommute in April 2013 and also paid for a Life membership. I thought the program had lots to offer, which was great. Then I paid money for Best Charter Account also which apparently failed and the money was suppose to be refunded. Shortly after that the owner sent out emails saying they were having financial difficulties and could anyone donate. Quite a few people did and I guess my money that was suppose to be refunded was also used for a donation. Next came the overhaul for the whole system which took several months. Now they want to charge for new membership! There were so many different parts to the system, I thought it was amazing how many components there were. If they had of left it alone at some point to even see if it would work maybe advertising it would of been less work for the members. I wish them well, however, I don't feel this is good business and I am not paying again. I would rather cut my losses now.
  8. Does anyone have any comments on the 12second commute program? I'd love to hear what you think about this program if you know it!
  9. I am not sure this topic fits in this section of social media, however it looked like the best place to place it. Do you think a cell phone is a must have to conduct business in today's world or is marketing on a desk top or lap top enough to be successful?
  10. I'm thinking Brendon Bouchard is quite motivating these days!
  11. Hello Everyone, Nice to meet you all and Happy New Year! My name is Phyllis and live in Manitoba, Canada brrr I am in the same boat as everyone here. I am a Life Skills Coach who has medical issues so took to the internet to make money. Have made a little so far with PTC sites which I find time consuming. Sitting on the fence right now looking for a business to join which I could feel a passion for. Good Luck to every one. Hope to learn from every one! 12. Hello Matt, how are you? How does reputation points work? I could not find any where it is listed. Is there a place I missed? Thanks, Phyllis
  13. You might think about joining safelists that you have the option of leaving your credit emails on their server and you can go read them there when you want such as Hot Spot Mailer for instance.
  14. Hi Kenny Could you please explain what the unique percent means? I noticed some of the percentages are higher at some safelists that you got fewer sign ups.
  15. Hello Everyone. Is anyone having any problems with ViralAd Store? I was trying to do credit emails and it gives me this message: SELECT member_level, is_elite FROM t_users WHERE nIdU = '56576' Access denied for user 'viralad1'@'localhost' (using password: NO) I tried to sign into my account and it gives me this message: SELECT * FROM t_suggestions_products_settings Access denied for user 'viralad1'@'localhost' (using password: NO) Since I cannot sign in I cannot ask them. This happened last week then yesterday it was fine and now today same thing. I have cleared my cache, cookies, history, and restarted my computer, no difference. Can anyone help my with this? I do not understand what these messages mean. Thanks!
  16. Thanks for posting this Steve as I was not aware of it either. I was aware of the posting before sending an email. I am also still a member and have little to say, however, it is frustrating to me to make posts on every site I belong to with every day chit chat. Besides now you have made a valid post that several people found interesting. Hope you have a great day. Thanks for setting things straight Darren.
  17. Hi Steve I am not sure where you mean. I am on a mac and when I bring down tools there is no compatibility listed. Do you mean on Fire Fox? Or my computer? Yes I do clear my cache, history etc. often. Sometimes that works with some sites. Thanks for the reply. It certainly causes problems especially when it keeps logging me out.
  18. Just would like to add, there are lots of free classified ad sites which are good for leads to affiliate marketing. Some of them even offer very low costs improvements to your ad to put it on top or to make them stand out.
  19. Thanks for the response. One hundred safe lists sounds overwhelming though. Don't know how you manage to keep up with that many? That must really dilute your time for doing other things that may be more important? Would it not be better to belong to fewer and send more from one mailer? Possibly by upgrading?
  20. Just to clarify, I wasn't referring to this site lol and I do understand how come the site owners limit mailing to free members. The question that comes to mind would be, Do you think Free Members click more email links because they need the credits? As a free member, how many safe list would you have to belong to to see results?
  21. My pet peeve about safe lists is the use of credits. When I have 250,000 credits and can only send to 350 people, it is frustrating! Of course I am referring to free members in this case. Sometimes the money isn't available to upgrade. And yes, I could just stop clicking links in email ads, however, I find them a way of seeing whats new and how other people are writing their ads and what they are advertising.
  22. If you have more then one place to publish content, such as, your blog, Linkedin, google+, etc., would it be appropriate to present the same article? Or, is it necessary to have several different articles for each place.
  23. Thanks for the response Darren. As a courtesy to anyone on my list I would want their permission not like all these people who pick up my email address some where and bombard me with false statements about the millions of commissions I am earning lol
  24. As an update to my original problem... With the end of windows XP my computer also decided to give up on me so I went out and bought a Mac and guess what, same problem. Upon contacting my service provider about my problems of validation problems in traffic exchanges it took five people until I found one who knew right away what the problem was. He told me that their service has an accelerator build into it which the traffic exchanges do not like. He removed it from my service so I could continue to surf. Problem is, when my modem goes down it readjusts itself and puts the accelerator back on. So every time my modem has to be restarted, which happens often during rain and snow storms, I have to call them back and have the accelerator taken off again. Quite annoying, however, my only other option for internet in this area is dial up. Oh yay! So generally I surf until I get frustrated and then call them up. The other solution is to choose the traffic exchanges and list mailers that it doesn't affect because there are quite a few out there that operate differently and are not affected by this accelerator.
