Traffic Exchanges, riding my Harley, watching football. I love my online business. I am also looking for a partner who would like to work with me running a traffic exchange business. I have two traffic exchanges and that is probably where I am going to stay. Social Viral Profits is doing very well, adding new members daily, lots of commissions being paid out to people who want to earn them.

  1. When I opened both of my TE's I had to make a decision whether or not to pay free members, and I chose to pay free members. They earn cash not only through referral sales, but also on prize pages and games that are on the site. I want my members to be able to earn a way to upgrade if they can't purchase one right away. I have found that most of my members who earn a commission each week usually upgrade to earn a higher commission rate. Sure it may cost me some extra cash, but my members feel more appreciated and that is what matters to me.
  2. I have several that I like, including my own of course. But I used to surf so many that I wasn't making any headway. Then I followed the advice of someone who is making money and upgraded in 5 or 6 that I like and am now making a regular income, not by surfing, but referring people to TE's. I don't surf as much because I buy credits and use them to build my own TE's and list. Since changing the way I use TE's, I have found it to be a better experience. The ones I remained a free members I don't get much out of as far as results. The ones I upgraded in, I do see results. I get about 100-150 referral emails every week. Out of those I get 5-6 a week who upgrade or buy credits earning me a commission. These numbers do not include my own TE's results, which are higher because I own it and get a lot of new members each week. To me it is better to spend $30 a month on upgrades and make back 2 or 3 times that in referrals than to keep spinning my wheels clicking. I know no one wants to hear it, but it takes spending money to make money. If anyone is interested I am giving out 100,000 XP each week at Social Viral Profits. Have a great weekend, Shon Jimenez
  3. You must not get to see behind the scene's very much. When working with the police to help stop some of this stuff we found thousands of sites selling stolen credit card, bank info, your social security number. Don't be nieve. There are far more crooks online trying to make a living the easy way, then there are honest people trying to make an honest living. The number is not made up out of thin air. We did a lot of work tracking down, not only the owner of the sites selling the credit card, bank info, but we also went after the people buying the info. I think you would be really shocked to see just how many people there are trying to buy and sell your social security number/bank info. We found our own info on 30 of the sites we found. So don't think someone not out to scam you, me and everyone else in this room. I could give you a list of these "secret" rooms and you'd probably find your own info in there. They had over 200 million records for sale on just one of those sites.
  4. Honestly I use TrafficBrowser and surf 13 sites at a time. My goal is to get as many credits for my sites so I can keep them in rotation. And to be totally honest I hardly even see what is being shown being I am clicking about once every second. Now after I reach my goal for the day, which is usually in an hour. I'll sit back and take time to see what else is being promoted on TE's to gather ideas for whatever I am doing. TrafficBrowser for $25 a year to surf 13+ sites is a good deal to me, especially when I make money referring others to them. In TE's where I am upgraded in, I spend more time going through their TE, communicating with other surfers. With my own TE's I am not so concerned with what they are doing with surfing. That's a side product to me. I make my money in my email marketing to my members and through upgrades, credit purchases, and so on. Also through building my downline builder, which has been really successful for me in my own TE ParanormalTraffic.com. I try to keep everything balanced by providing a good customer experience and being accessible to my members through my live conference room, which I have open from 8am till 4pm Monday-Friday, then on Skype during the weekends. I make sure all their concerns or questions are answered as quickly as I can. My early 12a.m - 6a.m surfers know they can leave me a message and it'll be answered by 7am. As far as timers are concerned, my free members haven't complain about the 8 second timer, my 1st level upgraded members have a 6 second timer, and my 2nd Level (higher) members have a 4 second timer. I feel like anything lower than 4 seconds doesn't do the members advertising any good. I surf Legacy with their 2 second timer all the time and hardly get to see what's being shown, unless I deliberately stop and take a look.
  5. I've been where you are now. Back in 2004 I had an eBay business, notice I said I had. I was selling music equipment that I was able to get real cheap and one day I sold $4k to someone in Chicago. They sent me a money order. I deposited it, and shipped the items. Two weeks later after I had spent the money, my bank calls me and says I owe them $4198. The money order was fake, a counterfeit. They threatened me with legal action if I didn't return the money within 24 hours. So I called the police department and filed a complaint of fraud against the buyer. They determined that I wasn't apart of creating the counterfeit money order, but I had to make my bank whole. It took my 6 months to fix that mess and I quit selling on eBay after that deal. It's a sad reality that there are 10 scammers for every honest person. People become blinded when it comes to dealing with money. About 5 years ago I answered an ad in the paper about a "job" that dealt with receiving cashiers checks and submitting them to the proper recipients. I knew that was a scam right away. I went ahead and let them send me the cashiers check so I could turn it over to the authorities and try the shut down the person who placed the ad. We took the cashiers check to the bank and had the bank check it and sure enough, it was a forged cashier check drawn off a real account, some poor persons bank account who had been compromised. So now I live by the rule that if someone contacts me about sending me any time of money, it's a scam. Hell, you can't even sell your car in the paper without someone from overseas trying to tell you they will send a money order for $5k over so the rest can go to a shipping company. That's a scam. Don't fall for these things, even if you really need the money bad. It will always come back to you.
  6. I am so glad I never really promoted anything of theirs. I did not know what was going on with Tim Tech until I become a traffic exchange owner. I've joined a few o their tee's a long time ago, but never spent much time on them. The problem I am having is I have a lot of members wanting me to get some of the CTP games for my TE. I have resisted it so far, but not sure if I should even consider getting the Submarine Game. I hate supporting people who rip other people off. But what to do if your members are asking for one of their products?
  7. I am definitely going to have it as an option. So I won't be getting rid of it totally. I'll have to use it to pay my affiliates until I can figure out a different way of paying them.
  8. I am sending them a request right now. This whole thing has been frustrating. I really dislike PayPal, but everything uses PayPal.
  9. I have a traffic exchange that uses the LFMTE script and I am trying to get my authorize.net merchant account integrated into the site, but I just don't understand how to integrate it. Any one have experience integrating Authorize.net. I don't need simple payment buttons, I know how to do that. I need it integrated so that when someone pays for an upgrade, their account gets automatically upgraded.
  10. Branding is so important. I can't tell you how many people have emailed me saying how professional my pic makes me look. It really just a pic from my wedding. It the one I use on everything, but people tend to respond better. They feel more comfortable if they feel your a professional. Putting up a pic in your weekend t-shirt won't do. Try to get a good picture in your Sundays best. I've split tested the pic here in my profile versus just a head shot and my tuxedo pic won out big time over just a headshot.
