For one thing, it has a 1:1 surf ratio for free members and a 5 second timer.

 

Now, I know some people think a longer timer is better but I totally disagree. 5 seconds is ample time to grab someone's attention with an eye-catching squeeze page... any longer than that is a waste of time.

 

Besides, with longer surf timers most people will 'power-surf' several TEs simultaneously so won't actually view your ads for the required 10, 15 or 20 seconds anyway.

 

Short timers can encourage people to surf one site at a time, so your ad actually gets noticed MORE, not less.

This site also has a VERY affordable monthly upgrade option which gives you a 2 second timer and a 1:2 ratio, so your site gets viewed twice for every site you surf - believe me, this upgrade racks up MASSIVE amounts of credits in a ridiculously short time! And because it's a well-used TE your credits get used fast, unlike some sites where you just get a trickle of traffic each week...

After getting poor results from TafficG and others, probably because having a longer surf timer people are 'powersurfing' those sites along with others simultaneously, I am now using Dark Hits almost exclusively as far as traffic exchanges go. I've yet to find a better TE!

Dave, I agree with you 100%!  5 seconds is ample time to know if I'm interested in a site.

 

Yep, If the timer is longer I surf other sites during that time while waiting to click the next site.

 

BTW, who wait and look at a site for 30 second and more... I don't

Another great thing about this TE is a point which has been raised in another thread on this forum - Dark Hits still pays commissions via PayPal (at the time of writing)
