I get the 2FA stuff, but I lost track of which code I had to put into one web-site and which to put in my phone and downloading the programs to my phone and .............

 

Hopefully it's easier just to use Upload.

I've decided I'll join a load of money transfer systems, just so I'm set-up.

 

Today I joined Coin Payments and after sending a copy of my passport, I had to take a selfie whilst trying to get my passport in focus - took a few attempts, but I'm in and verified again.

More and more places are requiring the Authy thing, I would just learn it now. I avoided it for over 2 years but now can't.

It's easy, but it's a hassle at first. Then you get the hang of it.

Took your advice above and joined up with Uphold yesterday.

 

You do have to go thru' the hoops with the authentication thing, but I'm in and verified.

You can add it as a "favourite card". Just click on the +Add card/currency. Transfer between members is free for any currency. Far as I understand though, if you are depositing or withdrawing in the UK, it has to be in Euro.

Exactly. For people still unsure how to handle bitcoin, but have to give an address to receive money, this is an easy solution. Last week I received a deposit to my Uphold BTC address, and switched it to USD with a couple of clicks.

The best thing to do right now is to look for alternative. Almost everyday, am getting messages from Advertising Platforms am using notifying me their Paypal account had been limited. You may be lucky today but you may not be tomorrow. Stop relying on Paypal, find alternative.

They are the worst and known for freezing accounts ruthlessly.

 

There are many alternatives to PayPal.

We buy stuff with paypal mostly.  There are alternatives not as easy to get used to but there are plenty of them. Its 2023 now i think people have adjusted a lot

I would possibly turn to Bitcoin if that were possible but if I lost my PayPal account I would probably be angry!!!

Losing my PayPal was my worst day at the time.

However, it has turned out to be my best day and the best day for online Marketers because we now have several ways to get paid our commissions.

The following ways that we can get paid online without PayPal:

- Cash App

- Wise

- Cryptocurrency

- Skrill 

- Venmo

- Coinbase

- Uphold

- Etc...

A lot of Marketers and Owners quit when they lost their PayPal Account.

PayPal seized my account many years ago over a stupid petty issue, lottery. I collected money from a few friends for a lottery pool and one of my dumb friends put "for lottery" in the memo and they acted quickly to lock my account and prevent me from using it ever again smh.  Fortunately I acted faster and withdrew all my funds before they seized it. When I saw the friend list that in the memo I knew it was coming lol.

That was years ago and to this day I can't use or close the account, it just sits there frozen.

I’d try recovering the account first using password reset or PayPal recovery options. If that doesn’t work, I’d contact support and verify my identity. If it still can’t be restored, I’d move to a new account (if allowed) and update my payment methods or use alternatives like Wise or Stripe.
