I am new to this business hope someone can help me out. I have an affiliate capture page. i am purchasing a domain and using URL forwarding so that i can promote the affiliate site without the long extension. Anyway, what i was trying to figure out is this. i am using a traffic exchange to help promote the affiliate site. Is there a way to also promote a banner from the domain site (it is also an affiliate setup)? They will provide me with the code for a banner. I don't know how to make that work because the traffic exchange wants am image URL and a site URL. I have the site URL but don't know how to get from the banner code to an image URL.

What banner code did they give you?

On traffic exchanges, you enter something like this as the 'Banner Image':

http://www.somedomain.com/Banner1.jpg

 

And the target should be the affiliate URL that you want people to see after clicking on your banner.

Right click on the banner and select "Open image in new tab" that will give you the image url. Does that answer your question or do you need more help?

Whatever site you are promoting should have an "affiliate tools" or "tools & stats" page where you get the banner image url from & your PERSONAL referral url. You don't want to just promote the page url, because you will not get sign-ups that way. You need to look for the page that displays your personal referral URL.

What your banner format? are they in HTML code or Java Script.Please Explain more detail. All affiliate program always give this code.Because this code format only can use for submit your banner at your platform website.
