Garrett Hutsko
I have run into a problem when reading some promotions. When I try to close and go to another I sometimes have as many as 12 pop-ups before I can go to my next email to read/view. I think this is excessive and Safelists should be able to stop this type of abuse. One or 2 pop-ups when I try to leave shoulb be IK but more than this should not be allowed and I think SafeList Managers should be able to stop these.Garrett
Sean Supplee
Agreed on a viral mailer though the reporting system is a bit different you should include some details for the report about the excessive pop ups on the site. After review we can then add it to the banned list so they can no longer promote it. If we see an account continue to do it for me anyways would be a suspension of the account. Garrett Hutsko
I am receiving emails which are taking me to webpages which are outside the Viral Mailers control, thus losing me credits and/or corrupting the Viral Mailer email counts. The resulting page I am taken to has "Internet LifestyleNetwork" at the top of the page. I think these pages are not normal links but are somehow hijacked. I looked at the emails and could find no trigger for it. The email I was reading was in "GOT Safelist", but other safelists emails have resulted in this webpage. I will try to ID more information for this.Garrett
Garrett Hutsko
I would like to see a reporting system for problem sites like I see in traffic exchanges, problems is sometimes getting the correct webpage is difficult to ID.Garrett
Maria McCarthy
There has been an increase in the number of reports this week and last week for frame-breakers and explicit sites, but for many of them, when I check the links, they just look like regular marketing links or sites.. there is nothing wrong with the link/site which leaves me in a bit of a conundrum when trying to decide if I should ban the link.. some of them are sites where I actually know the owners and know their sites are not normally frame-breakers & they don't usually contain porn. There is definitely something going on right now...sweeping the community, it seems. I've spoken to other admins who have been getting the same strange reports where the links appear fine to them when they check them... Garrett Hutsko
I have also seen this when surfing traffic exchanges. I will try to help ID the problems as they happen. Maria McCarthy
Maria McCarthy
That's going to help many admins, Garrett! Thanks I always appreciate the reports at my sites. Quote http://begetmarketing.com/images/beget468.gif
Garrett Hutsko
I beleive that this is one of the links from one of the email promos This discussion talks about: "http://safelistextreme.com/members/earn.php?29BAA91BC14446075289&5219633" please do not use it except to check it out. When this promo is in my reader and I click to get my credits it takes me as much as 12 clicks in answer to the are you sure messages before I can get back to the starting point in the promo so I can delete the promo from my reader. The purpose of those exit prompts is to try to keep you on the page, and in that case they just keep hitting you with additional exit prompts. Garrett Hutsko
I tried to capture a copy of the email I received which leads to a video which takes from 8 to 12 clicks before I can open the next email promo (please do not follow any of the leads in this promo except to test it), :*****************************************************************************************************************************************You agreed to receive messages from Safelist Plus. Garrett Hutsko
I wish it was just a matter of selecting the leave button which is what I do but some of the clicks offer only an OK button. I counted the clicks before I was released back to the next email and I counted 12 clicks.
Garrett Hutsko
One additional to all of this is that when I take the link from inside the email it does not take me to the same video that I see when I open the email and click the credit link. Garrett Hutsko
I am getting these kinds of emails again and I can focus them on the stuff being promoted about Anthony Morris and his training programs. He has material which is very sneaky because it will come up in my browser without my selecting it on purpose. These seem to come in waves and maybe even tied to his training cycles. I have counted as many as 12 pop behinds in the material being promoted by his people. I don't mind one or 2 but his are way to much and cause me much anxiety in trying to get them shut down. Please if you are promoting his material look at how you have the pop behinds set and cut them back to one or 2, PLEASE!!!!

These typically show him promoting his stuff and trying to get a click thru. When you try to close these you get a message which repeats up to 12 times. It seems you can click the leave all you want but to no avail until it exhausts it process then you gain back control.
