Did You Play Video Games Before You Started Surfing Traffic Exchanges?

[captkirk]

I've been involved in online advertising and traffic exchanges for many years, and something recently occurred to me.

Long before the internet, a friend and I enjoyed playing video games. We competed against each other and sometimes worked together to beat the games.

When I eventually discovered traffic exchanges, I noticed some similarities: earning points, completing challenges, competing on leaderboards, developing strategies, and collecting rewards.

Of course, traffic exchanges have another purpose: promoting our websites, products, and business opportunities.

That got me wondering how many other traffic-exchange surfers have a background in video gaming.

Here are a few questions for everyone:

1. Did you play video games before you started surfing traffic exchanges?

• Yes, and I still play video games.

• Yes, but I no longer play.

• No, I've never really been interested in video games.

2. What do you enjoy most about surfing traffic exchanges?

• Earning advertising credits.

• Promoting my business and recruiting referrals.

• Competing on the leaderboards.

• Playing games and collecting rewards.

• A combination of the above.

3. Do you enjoy competing against other surfers for the #1 position?

• Yes, I enjoy the competition!

• Sometimes, when there's a good challenge.

• No, I'm mainly interested in advertising.

4. If you played video games, do you think that experience influenced your enjoyment of traffic exchanges?

I'd especially like to hear your thoughts on that last question.

I'm curious to see how many of us have something else in common besides online advertising!
