I used to make good money a few years ago from GDI and Virtual World Direct (e-lottery) but I haven't actively promoted an MLM for about 5 years now. If we can just get the pump primed a little first, it's pretty hard for anyone to deny that Smartphones are here to stay and slowly (well maybe not so slowly) will be pushing the web into the background. You also have to realize that it may take you a long time to build your MLM business. For instance, it took me 2 years to reach the Emerald level in the Amway biz. Was it worth it? YES. That was over 20 years ago and I'm still receiving thousands of dollars a year for the effort I put in way back then. But, it's not quick and it's not easy.
