Hello, my name is marian.  I have not been in network marketing for a long time. I still consider myself

a novice.   A lot to learn.   But it will be worth it.  Looking forward to everyone's advice.😀

Hey Everyone,

My name is Steve and I am excited to be a part of this forum to both learn and contribute.  I am currently living in the Philippines, however, I am originally from my Mom and Dad....Ok, seriously, before I moved to the PI, I lived in San Diego, CA for 40 years.

My professional career consisted of working in the vocational rehabilitation industry, serving persons with disabilities in their journey toward financial independence. This was/continues to be my passion. I am an alumnus from SDSU with an M.S. degree in Rehab Counseling/Emphasis in Deafness Rehab.

My role throughout the years varied, including Rehab Counselor, Employment Specialist, Job Developer, Program Manager and Consultant. Ironically, In 2020, SSA found me qualified for disability benefits. Having served 100s clients whose disabilities were much more severe than mine, I knew I couldn't just sit around and twiddle my thumbs all day.

I decided to start my own business that continued to focus on the disability community. Using my existing skills and experience, I took on the role of Financial Coach and started Shofar Consulting Services. Due to the nature of the industry, I also decided to dive into learning as much as I could about starting and managing an online business. I figured this industry would be perfect for PWDs based upon two characteristics:

1) The physical requirements are extremely minimal

2) The start-up costs are minimal.

Five years later...I still consider myself a beginner. My experience is not much different than many successful online entrepreneurs, so I have not given up hope. I'm excited about this journey and looking forward to meeting some new friends.

Thanks for reading to the end.

Wishing everyone the best success!

Steve Stover
