Is Bitconnect A Good Investment?
rpsmith replied to M3Intelligence's topic in CryptoCurrencies and Blockchains
As I always try to say. Do your due diligence. Most of the time, you can tell a scam because they promise you the world with no work. I think most people still need to educate themselves more on bitcoin before getting into it.- 12 replies

Facebook For Business Sucks! And It Really Sucks Bad
rpsmith replied to simplygenius's topic in Social Media
It seems to me that they are cracking down on group ads. Maybe it's just me, but my efforts at group advertising have drawn the "you are spamming" comments from them. To be more specific, I tried posting to the groups I belong to and hadn't gotten far, when I got these bot notices that my posts were being deleted because I was spamming. I stopped after that and haven't been back. -
True, but now FB is cracking down on group postings. I once tried to post to the groups I belonged to and got FB notices that I was spamming. So, I have come to question the value of it now.

With that in mind, I would cut my losses and ditch them. Sooner or later, these people will realize their error and "correct" themselves. If they alienate enough of their members, it will start to hurt in the wallet. By the same token, If their reputation suffers, it will destroy them in the end. They will go down as another scam or rip off.

Abundant Crypto Crowdfunding - abundantcryptocrowdfunding.com
rpsmith replied to whyeyes's topic in Program Threads
I have seen these sites before and have always wondered if they were some sort of ponzi scheme. Can anybody shed some light on that? -
I think if you will look around, there are other threads related to this subject. Nearly all of them, that I can recall, say the same thing you are, they are getting ripped off. If they are not paying, I would stop promoting them.

These sites are also showing up in alt coins too. Same set up. Same scam.

May I ask you what software you are using? Does it have issues with security software? It seems to me that some of the mining scripts are getting flagged.

It seems to me that they should have a much better reason than that to have a"Temporary Price Surge". I would demand a better answer and point out to them that nothing in their FAQ says anything about a Temporary Price Surge. Otherwise, I would cut my losses and dump them.

Is Bitconnect A Good Investment?
rpsmith replied to M3Intelligence's topic in CryptoCurrencies and Blockchains

Another point I wanted to mention is that this may be one of the many changes Google has been forcing to prevent people from having massive numbers of backlinks. There was one update that specifically targeted sites that gained too many backlinks too fast.

Fake Safelist Mailer Stats
rpsmith replied to aprild.marketing's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
Using external trackers are very important. They help you determine the frauds from the real deal. some of these "safelists" have been known to generate fake click results. But the bottom line is where are the sales?- 21 replies

You make a good point, but the difference in going to a store and stealing on the internet is that you are anonymous. That's what gives people a license to use such software. But, as previously mentioned, I would be leary of using such software as it may contain viruses and other malware.

I have been considering setting up an account with them. Is there any downside to using their services?

The Bit Gold Mine . Net- Stay Away!
rpsmith replied to incomeskills's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
I would like to point out that bitcoin in itself is not a scam. Scammers prey on people who do not understand how it works. Most of the bitcoin scams I have seen work exactly like the scams that use regular money. The big difference is that it adds the mystique of bitcoins. People somehow get the idea that it works differently because of bitcoins. -
If you are asking me where? You can look it up under nigerian Scams and horror stories. There was a scam exposing site dedicated to this topic some years ago. A number of these stories were from news papers and such that talked about how people either never came back or were later found dead. I think there may even be some of these stories on Youtube.

Hi, If you use safelists, I am posting this for you. There is a scam that is online where you (the intended victim) suddenly find yourself looking at an official looking webpage (It could look like it came from Microsoft or your Internet Provider) with a loud and repeating warning that your system has been infected with some sort of virus. Furthermore, it instructs you to call a number to have it removed. DON'T CALL THAT NUMBER AND DON'T PANIC! It's all a scam! To clear the page and the annoying alarm hit the ESC key. To be on the safe side, You can log off and run your virus scanner just to make sure! (I can't emphasize the importance of keeping your virus scanners up to date). It is important to remember that these pages are set up to get you to panic. To the uninformed, they are very effective. The reason I post this is to warn everyone of these pages and what NOT to do. I ran across one a few days ago and then again two days ago when I was working through some ads in one of the safelists I belong to. To Your Success!

I have seen these sites pop up like daisys. Some may pay a partial payment to look legit then stop paying at all. Go to any place that promote bitcoin opportunities and you will run into them eventually. You are right, they are all scams.

I think cbpro ads is a better choice. Instead of one product, you can profit from many.

Should Safelist Marketers Optimize for Mobile Traffic?
rpsmith replied to simplygenius's topic in SEO & SEM
According to my research, if you want to get and keep ranked on google.com, you will need three things: Video, mobile compatible, and original content. One of the updates seems to penalize sites that do not have the first two. The third one is more of a crackdown on sites that duplicate and publish another site's content. -
I think most people jump to other affiliate programs simply because they lack any "stick to it" discipline. They use tired old promotion methods and move on to the next big thing. I once had a mentor who laid it out this way: Most won't follow a proven plan or they will follow it partially and quit. Most people who get into an online business fall into the idea that it will be easy to do. They seem to overlook the fact that it takes lots of hard work to get something started online and even more work to keep it going and profiting. They overlook the idea that it takes time.
