Interesting topic and I am also in the dark, but I do know that one hosting service I have used for over a decade where I have a $1 a month account on a subdomain (no registration fees) has https included free. That tells me it should not be all that expensive.

Before I pay for sites they need to show me the money and I don't promote just to get it from my associates pockets.

There is a simple solution to that problem, surf Token Ads on Traffic Swirl and if you want credits you can buy them with your Tokens. The advantage is, you can earn as many as 50 Tokens in 4 seconds instead of surfing to get credits directly.

The secret is to use money you earned free online to get started, then once you make a profit you can withdraw your initial investment and work with house money. If you never make a profit, you only lost money you got free.

BitCoin is simply a medium of exchange, so why would you make a blanket statement to avoid any site that uses it, any more than you would for US Dollars?

I am working with a couple of sites that offer both, but I focus on getting paid when disqualified from surveys and for clicking to view ads that require no concentration (so I can do them while watching TV) and I am happy earning a couple bucks a day to use for subscriptions that pay me passive referral income.

That is certainly your prerogative, but personally my mind is not closed to anything that can further my objectives. I learn new ways to accomplish things every day and some of them were rejected in the past. I hope I NEVER stop learning. Best of luck to you.

It's just a mental block on your part. I don't consider helping someone who helped me by joining, giving away anything (where a one up or two up would be). Why would I want to give any referrals to someone who doesn't help me at all, when I can give them to someone who will continue to PAY ME every month? That's what each one of my referrals does, $10 every month, month after month after month. Sure I am willing to help them, so they will keep doing it.

I joined All In One Profits a little over a year ago and started passing every other referral up to my sponsor, but it didn't take me long to figure out that was not working for me (and probably not for my sponsor either, because he finally quit when I stopped passing up) I should have known, that no matter how many referrals I get, most of them will never get any. That results in most of them (even the passed up ones) quitting when they fail to make any money. The solution was simple, I no longer promote my own referral link, so I NEVER pass anyone up. Instead I promote my referrals links in a rotator and pass them DOWN. Since we get 100% commissions, the first one I pass down to someone starts making them money and they no longer quit by the bucket loads. Then the next referral I get for them gets passed up to me, so my income keeps growing. When they see it works, a few will get excited and apply the same strategy with my help, which insures my income will continue. No it's not a path to riches, but I use the services anyway, so why not make a few hundred bucks. It also makes better friends when I help them make money and they are more likely to help me back. That's the kind of list the money is in. If you were going to help someone get referrals, would you rather it be someone who is brand new and still wondering if they made a mistake by joining, or someone who is already MAKING MONEY and eager to make more?

That mutes the sound for the entire computer system, but what I get from some of these comments, is they want to listen to music and the sound from surfing ads is all they want to eliminate. That's why they need a plugin to just mute the browser they are surfing with, them they can use another browser or app to play their music on the same computer.

I just read through this thread and it's hard to believe not making a dime in all that time. The first problem I see is you are not trying to make a dime, you are going after the big bucks everyone promises (Like MOBE) while the dimes are zooming past you every day. The truth is, if you start out concentrating on the dimes to learn the basics, it is much easier to graduate to the dollars in a short time. Several people mentioned building a list. You can get all the tools you need to build a solid list for $10 a month and be in profit your first month just from marketing them to others as desperate as you are now. That is not just theory, I have not only done it myself, but taught several other to do it too. I have also had others join with us and sit on their hands, then wonder why they are not making as much as they could. So maybe it's as simple as adjusting your expectations, then grow your skills and knowledge to expand. Find a need people around you have, then offer them the solution to make a connection. Lean on others to get started and do the same things they do. It's really that simple.

I use headphones so it's very low until I put them on for something special. That's also why as an advertiser on traffic exchanges, I don't autoplay them so visitors can be prepared before they click play (which is very few).

I'm not so sure I would want to use bulk mail even if it did work. I can't imagine you would have many true contacts that get to know, like and trust you as a result. I would rather build my own smaller list of people who are a little more committed to at least browsing the first email I send.
