  1. It would be nearly impossible to sort out the hours spent working from those spent just messing around for entertainment. When I spent a couple of hours shopping online for a new cell phone. I don't think of that as working, even though it prompted me to buy a course on Instagram and may use the new phone for promoting something. But to answer the question, I probably spend 4 hours each morning working on money making programs, then 3 hours while I watch TV shows in the evening and often a couple hour burst when something strikes me. I am retired with nowhere to go and all day to get there, so it's easy to get online and just wander around posting on forums like this, to plant a few seeds that could blossom into new contacts. In fact now that I think it over, I can't consider it working on my business when I don't have, want or need a business. I just get online to look for people willing to send me the money.
  2. To be honest, I seldom use the mailer anyway. I joined here for the forum and would rather spend my time contributing what I can to build a reputation as a knowledgable, helpful associate that people may want to associate with, than sending out messages that most often get ignored once credit is given.
  3. I keep my blog going because it's the cheapest form of advertising that has that much clout. Think about it, the WordPress was free, the domain name is $14 a year and the hosting $1 a month. I do all the work myself, so there is no other expense. So far in September it has had over 4,000 visits, so that's about $.0005 per targeted visitor. The factor that is often overlooked, is it provides me with a certain degree of authority and you can't buy that. EDIT: I forgot to mention in the last two years I made $200 on referral commissions, so that paid for my upgraded membership on Traffic Swirl with more than enough left over to cover the cost of owning my blog.
  4. I think the real key is don't be in a hurry. If you can earn free exposure (and so can thousands of others), you can't expect a flood of action takers to swamp you with responses right away. Let it run long enough to determine if you really want to keep going, but always keep in mind that your next big hitter could be right around the corner. What I think is even more important, is don't expect those free credits to do all the work. Get involved in the community and talk to fellow members about what you are doing, then send them to your page. Or better yet, have a link or image sitting somewhere they can get nosey and find it. If your resource does not have a community, find another one!!!
  5. I suppose that if one were to dig in and read all the ebooks and follow the advice of the gurus, you could develop a talent for Tweeting that could produce some useful activity. For now, I can't bring myself to put that much effort into it. Instead I have a Twitter account that I use mostly for Traffic Swirl tasks. In order to get the Daily Bonuses, everyone needs to complete a task every day and one of the tasks I offer a lot is a Twitter Retweet. To prepare, I Tweet a message suited to these folks and pin it to the top of my Twitter feed. Then I set up a task to retweet that particular one, but rather than link directly to it, I send them to my feed and ask them to look for it (it's right on the top) and most of them will at least glance at the content. In my opinion, this gives me targeted qualified exposure (even if it is one person at a time) for nothing more than the 30 seconds it takes to set this all up. Some of them appreciate doing a task where they don't need to join anything new or subscribe (which they can only do once) to something, they can come back and retweet every time they need to complete a simple task to get their bonus for that day. I don't offer enough credit to get those who do it over and over when there are much easier ways to get them. Nor only that, but as I teach more people to do this, it makes it simpler for me to get my own daily bonuses.
  6. Do a search for rebrand pdf and you will find several solutions. As far as keeping someone from editing it, that is virtually impossible. All they need to do is have someone on Fiverr type it in and edit the copy. You can hold the copyright, but enforcing it is another problem.
  7. I have been doing videos for many years and getting thousands of views, but just recently I bought the new upgrade for Easy Sketch Pro to do more Doodle Sketch videos and have been very impressed with how much easier it is for only $37, It does overcome the objections of not wanting to appear on camera and keeping the cost to a minimum. I think these do draw people in, if they are kept short and entertaining. It also helps if you can get a good thumbnail image to attract more clicks when you embed them on your web page.
  8. I have been using Traffic Monsoon as a feeder program to finance a monthly payment program for people who don't have the startup funds. Remember, you do not need to buy ad packs to make money. Many people just use it as a paid to click and it works well. In my six months I have increased my earnings to average $60 a month and the only money I spent was $1 to buy an ad, so I could be an advanced member and get a better surfing ratio. Anyone who can get referrals without lying about making thousands, can do very well here. Of course it helps if you get under someone who is doing what you want to accomplish.
  9. The most I spent was about $100 for the manuscript to the butterfly marketing course and I did learn enough from it to make it worthwhile, but I certainly didn't get rich as the copy eluded to on the website. I should clarify, I am not online to become another deep pockets guru. I retired 15 years ago and wanted something to keep my mind occupied, so I got involved online and have never regretted it. I have not spent one penny from our household budget and don't plan to now, but I have added tens of thousands of dollars to our retirement travel fund and enjoyed it more than I can express. I will be eternally grateful for the Internet!
  10. My favorite as you know is Traffic Swirl, but I sell my credits for more Tokens and that's what makes it work for me. I use the Tokens to run Tasks for actions I want taken and to post Token Ads that get viewed with more interest than using credits to show my page does. I also like the Chat, is you can get past all the chit-chat and nonesense to meet people you can help. Offering a Token Bribe as a bonus often works well. I am sold on it enough that I started a blog to share Why Traffic Swirl
  11. The site that is at the top of my short list is Traffic Swirl, because I discovered the community there is conducive to getting referrals more than anywhere else I go. I don't use it as a traffic exchange, but a community marketplace and it has worked well enough I started a blog to talk about why I use it. I haven't been here long enough to completely decide, but this may be added to that list very soon.
  12. I signed up to post in the forum anyway, so make it 24 hours and I will still be here.
  13. I do all of those activities, because my main objective is not for me to make money, it's for my referrals to make money. It all comes around in the end. EDIT: I just saw this again and it occured to me, why don't you become one of them so you can find out first hand?
