  1. As soon as I see a countdown timer, or any other fear based pressure tactic, I stop reading. If it truly is a limited time offer, it will not be measured in minutes. Same with someone selling an e-book or some other training claiming those secrets are only available to a limited few. If they were truly secrets they didn't want widespread, they wouldn't be sold through affiliate marketing. Bullshit means no sale.
  2. Wow, that totally sucks. Well, thanks for the warning about hosting with Weebly.
  3. I looked up Vick Stizheus. He was formerly known as Vitaly Strizheus. He changed his name after he served 90 days in jail for insurance fraud. He was an insurance salesman who was selling fake policies to none existent people and got caught. He is the founder of Big Idea Mastermind, which is an offshoot of Empower Network. That would explain why his sales pitch for this new system reminds me so much of Empower Network. They all work the same way, they get you involved, claiming a "done for you" system, but once you are in, there is a constant stream of upsells. There supposed "done for you" system is just a capture page and a autoresponder series. You still need to find people to actually sign up. If it is like the other comparable systems, their traffic generation training will consist of telling you to buy solo ads from other "gurus" they are teamed with. OK, maybe spam wasn't the right term for Russell's selling, as I did sign up for the list. I didn't mean spam as unsolicited e-mail, but spam by it's earlier connotation, as in non-stop, like in the menu in the Monty Python skit it came from. Russell makes new "autopilot" systems regularly when his old one runs out of steam, and pitches the new one, abandoning the people who spent hundreds, or thousands, of dollars on his older system. The fact that Vick is massively over hyping a pre-launch of a new "done for you" system when he already has more than one in place tells me h works the same way. These guys thrive on pre-launch hype, and once they launch, you will see that it is something that has already been done multiple times. The very fact he did time for fraud of a financial kind tells me to stay far away from giving this guy money.
  4. No thanks. ClickFunnels is Russell Brunson, one of those "gurus" that is spams you with new programs every few days once you are on his list. Everything he promotes is really expensive, with multiples upsells, often well over $1000. And then a bit later, he makes something new, and moves on. Been there already, not interested in anything else with Russel's name attached. Don't who this Vic guy is, but sounds similar, if he is promising products with $4800 commissions.
  5. Hmm, PayPal is timing out before I get logged in. I'll try again tomorrow.
  6. I had come across that site while surfing. I've seen pro only TEs before. While the membership tends to be smaller, they are proven buyers. I guess it is good I didn't join under some random surfer. I'll have to make sure no cookie signs me up under somone I visited before your link.
  7. There are so many site like you mentioned, that the only product is the so called opportunity. Super Affiliate Network and Empower Network come to mind right away. In both, the "training" is a sales pitch for the $2500 "all in" package. I prefer a company like the tea company I am with. Real product that people outside the company will buy.
  8. No updates in a couple weeks. Still just the page with the "stat tracker". I'm not holding my breath.
  9. I recently re-discovered a TE I used to surf at. I had stopped surfing there because the surfbar had gotten to cluttered with games. They had a major redesign and the look is clean now. Much better. I like the variable surf timer. If you like a quick timer, you can have that, but if, like me, you prefer a longer timer with a higher ratio, you can have that too. There is also something called abundance, which is new since I last surfed there. Basically, you can rent a timeslot where the displayed page is heavily skewed to your site, and these extra displays do not use credits. I haven't tested it yet, but they say the day you have abundance rented, you get approximately 2000 more views. All in all, it seems like the redesign was successful. I think it will be a TE I surf heavily from now on. http://thetrafficdance.com/?ID=12903
  10. Some nice looking templates there. I'm going to be, when I get around to it, making some Facebook fan pages for some businesses I am involved it. I'll probably grab the template pacage then.
  11. I never even thought to check if Worldprofit was here. I just assumed they would have already been posted. Guess I missed my opportunity to post it here by assuming. It is a good deal, I think.
  12. I never understood them either, until someone made a good point. People with disabilities that make clicking difficult love autosurfs.
  13. I have a chance to pick up and orphaned autosurf that already has 200 or so members. The previous owner stopped paying the hosting fee and I can get it by simply agreeing to take over paying for hosting at $16 per month. Not a huge fan of autosurfs, but it does have a membership already, and the site design is clean and simple. Still pondering the offer.
  14. That was my issue with the program. They make it difficult to find out how much they actually pay. The powerline is designed to get you to by out of fear of loss.
  15. Of the pre-done sites that were there, Army of Hits had the design I liked the best. Plus it was the last one they offered with a bunch of the optional scripts in the price. The newer ones are cheaper, but less features. Maybe they will have a design I like better soon.
  16. This is a brand new traffic exchange. How new is it? Well, a couple days ago, it was on the list of pre-designed sites on the Ventrino site. I was considering buying it, but when I went to the Ventrino site today, Army of Hits was no longer for sale. So someone grabbed it while I was trying to decide. Anyway, since I can't be the owner, I'll try to be the number one affiliate. I don't really have much else to add, everyone here knowns what a manual traffic exchange is. http://armyofhits.com?r=57970
  17. Yeah, I know which banners you mean. I have been tempted to click them over and over to burn his credits. Don't worry about the refund. I won't cry over 2 dollars.
  18. What the offer for $25 per month is a blogging platform, like what you get from Wordpress for free, except with less power than what Wordpress offers. The so called training is mostly a sales pitch for going "all in" at $2500. I have no idea what they offer for that $2500, as I saw through the scam. The income disclosure wasn't added until a long time after launch, probably after they got investigated.
  19. The square banners and the text ads are getting views, no clicks. The standard banner has only 3 views so far. I think the way they have the square banners set up with a bunch in a column doesn't lead to great clickability since it is a jungle of banners.
  20. So far zero clicks on any of the ads there.
  21. I am embarrassed to say I forgot to place a banner ad there. I'll go do that now.
  22. Yeah, I messaged them to add a program too. They have a unique art style to their surf bar. But the ability to suggest a program for the downline builder is really different. I'm gonna steal that idea if I ever start a TE.
  23. Got the commission for the last party deposited to my bank account yesterday. Also got the e-mail congratulating us for a new recruit yesterday as well. Won a contest someone in our upline was holding for the consultant with the biggest grossing party in her team for the month. She is rewarding us with a couple packs of the newest catalogue, which we were about to order and now we won't have to.
  24. Joined, but I only went for the one month pro upgrade. I don't do lifetime upgrades in new TEs anymore. I have been burned by upgrading in TEs that disappear after a few months. The one month pro was cheap enough to test it out.
  25. I joined, because it is free. I am not actively promoting it until I have proof of payment though. They have already gone past their launch date and no videos to watch yet. I am skeptical it will ever get off the ground.
