Thanks for posting this. I hate trying to keep track of mailers. Definitely joining.

How long have you been buying the CTFO clicks? When you say converting well, do you mean actual sales, or just people joining for free?

What makes me join a company is value. Is it a product I would buy even if there was no compensation plan attached? If so, I am way more likely to join.

Thanks for being a guinea pig for the rest of us. Sometimes with those small purchases, I end up paying "just to see". Glad I didn't this time.

The Gurus and Experts Said That I Would Fail Big Time!
troysavary replied to captkirk's topic in Commons
I wish I had known what I know now years ago. I too was told I couldn't succeed with free advertising. I, unfortunately, believed some of the "gurus" and bought a few thousand dollars worth of scams when I was new at this. -

I went to their site, and most of the links were broken. Doesn't fill me with confidence in them if making a functioning website is beyond their skills. -
What are the Best Traffic Exchanges with Fast Timers?
troysavary replied to Paula Frye's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
If people are not actually seeing the site, then it is rather pointless. While perhaps not as many people would surf a site that only works when it is in focus, I can see it actually converting far better. The Legacy people have sites with extremely quick timers. They are easy to surf and I can quickly rack up credits, but they seem to be rather none effective at getting actual conversions. TrafficG and WebmasterQuest, on the other hand, take longer to surf, but seem to work better for me. Maybe that is why I generally see mostly TEs, PTC, and downline builders advertised on Legacy sites and I see plenty of actual businesses advertising on TrafficG and Webmasterquest. -
Traffic Exchanges? Useful or Waste of Time?
troysavary replied to Kurt Tasche's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
Which exchanges are working? I am finding the TimTech and Legacy exchanges have plenty of people using them, but they are not buyers. They care more about whether or not you have your picture on your splash page than what you are actually promoting. Can you recommend a few exchanges that are active with people who actually look at what is being offered.- 96 replies

Send mw your link.

They don't say where the banners are displayed. Is it on a network of sites, or just on that site, I wonder. Message me in about a week and tell me if you are getting results. If you think it is worth it, I'll buy.

Thanks. I hope the plethora of OTO pages wasn't too much.

This just launched. 100 Percent Ads. The name comes from the fact upgraded members make 100% commissions. Ahs all the usual things for an advertising tool, banners, text links, solo ads. I decided to get in early and try to get a large enough downline that the ability to mail your referrals is useful. I don't have enough experience with it to tell you if the advertising they offer is effective yet. One warning, if you decide to sign up, there are more OTO pages to jump through than any other site I have ever joined. http://www.100percentads.com/index.php?r=troysavary I'll update later with my experience with the site.

any low cost autoresponders
troysavary replied to rpsmith's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
Yes, SendReach is costly, but it looks like you get what you pay for. I haven't seen an autoresponder that does half what they do before. Real businesses use demographics are the time, but generally have to rely on expensive marketing consultants to utilise it. SendReach does that for you. I don't have enough of a list to justify using them, but I definitely would if email was a larger part of my marketing. -
See, that is exactly what makes me suspicious. People keep claiming you make money with no effort. I find that unlikely. Are YOU making money with this right now? Or are you parroting what your upline says?

I think this program is brand new. Or at least new to me, as I hadn't seen it before. Traffic exchange Link rotator Banner rotator Text ads Downline builder Branded ebooks to give away 35% commission for free members, full 100% commissions for upgraded members You can purchase referrals to quickly build you downline http://commissionfunnel.com?r=73129

I am still a member, but I haven't been active anymore. I just was finding the amount of work I was putting into it to not be worth the payoff.

How much does it cost to become pro? Also, would you recommend using a throwaway email to sign up? Ad board have been a consistent source of spam for me in the past when I posted on one.

If you do a lot traffic exchange surfing on multiple sites, it can be a pain to update the sites you want to show on all of them. Especially if you are proting multiple opportunities. I always found a link rotator to be useful for that. Page Swirl allows free members to rotate up to 5 sites and pro members unlimited sites using one URL. I have found it works better than most other URL rotators, not breaking frames and therefor accpeted on more traffic exchanges. Free members get 10% and pro mebers get 50% commssions. Get traffic through their ad co-op. No pop ups, no banners ads, no navigation frame. It basically is the best URL rotator I have come across. http://pageswirl.com/default.php?aff=savary

I don't deny that SFI pays. I always was paid on time too. I was merely commenting on the PSAs that you can win in the Pricebenders auctions. They have been absolutely useless in my experience.

Traffic Exchanges? Useful or Waste of Time?
troysavary replied to Kurt Tasche's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
I find that the traffic from TEs is not particularly good traffic. People surf as many exchanges at once as they can, and don't actually look at anything. There are browsers specifcally dsigned to make surfing many exchanges at once easier. Even with a splashpage that is eye catching, they are still not looking at it. It seems that the only thing most TE surfers will join is downline builders and TEs. I make small commissions from upgraded members in a couple exchanges, but hardly enough to justify the time I spent building them. I am having way more success with MLM companies that have physical products I can market offline than anything I have tried online. Marketing anything other than traffic sources on TEs has been an exercise in futility. Even when I get them to fill out the capture page, they do not respond to any of the emails sent. Traffic exchange surfers just simply tend not to be buyers. Maybe I'll buy a downline builder script and make my own downline builder. That seems to be the easiest way to leverage traffic exchanges.- 96 replies

If the signups that they were selling were from normal advertising, then they would be more responsive. What explains the fact that almost every PSA I bought never logged into SFI even once after they signed up? Why were none of them ever from Europe or North America, but always third world nations were the money from paid-to-sign up campaigns is actually worthwhile because of their countries low currency value? The only PSAs who ever replied to my mailings were the ones I personally signed up, or a few from S-builder co-ops. Not one of the purchased PSAs ever replied to me. Not once.

Joined. Not often you see a product based MLM that will pay you commissions even if you are not buying it yourself. This looks like a great oportunity.

So, I have people asking for information about Steeped Tea, but I cannot see who they are until I spend 20 credits per person I want to unhide. Also, I clearly stated that the opportunity is only available in USA and Canada, yet I am getting people from Philippines and Algeria. They obviously just want me to spend credits to make the contact so they don't have to and then they will pitch something to me. Also, I have not yet been awarded the credits I have earned, so I could not actually view the people claiming to be interested without spending money. I think I will consign this to the "checked it out and wrote it off" category.

I am always wary of cyclers and forced matrices. The first issue is the shear number of people needed to fill them. The second is the fact they promise spill-over means they often attract people who will sit there doing nothing waiting for spillover. And my third issue with them is most of them tend to disappear before paying out. I might give this one a try since it is so cheap, and I'll see if the advertising is worth it.
