  1. I love this one! It is similar to something I always tell my children - You have never failed until or unless you quit!
  2. It is a tough question as there are many roads to success in this industry and all of them have traps and road blocks along the way. I would encourage someone to AVOID any site that forces you to view someone else's ad in exchange for sharing their own ad ONLY UNTIL they have a clear business plan and strategy in place. Hopefully this would allow them to skip the rabbit hole of program hopping or shiny object syndrome and give them enough time to research (via blogs, forums etc where it may be 'easier' to avoid being sucked in to the hype of ads you will find there). Once there is a strategy and plan in place, which can always (and should in fact) evolve over time that is the point that exposure to the endless "opportunities" will be easier for someone new to the industry to navigate. They will have more focus and be more invested in their own plan and strategy and therefore only join programs or opportunities that are of actual use (yes, ad exchange platforms are fine at this point) or supplement and support their own business plan and strategy. Additionally I would recommend they find a mentor who is genuine in mentoring (as opposed to sponsoring) the new comer. I realise these thoughts may be contrary to what many here would like to see and I do see a place for ad exchange platforms, just not as the starting point. Cheers Nate
  3. Just thought I would update this. After pretty much a full day of googling and trial and error I have managed to find a quick and easy method to create really cool banners using Canva (which is cheap and I already had for logo and website design stuff) and then using cpanel to upload and host on my website. I know this may seem easy and obvious to some, but for someone who has always struggled with this aspect it was a really cool achievement for the day.
  4. Thank you, a lot of hard work and a lot of awesome members!
  5. Thanks for the advice, several adobe products might be out of my price range for my needs (just a handful of banners) for this project but it is something I hadn't considered so will do a bit of research on using adobe.
  6. Thanks Darren, I have the website covered but will definitely check out those banner options. Paying might be my best option to save time and the learning curve on an aspect I am useless with.
  7. Hi All, I'm currently building my own product / website and graphic design and banner hosting has always been a weak point for me. I am wondering if anyone can suggest any good training and/ or good quality banner makers? I have done a bunch of googling and have found a few banner creator type websites as well as some info on how to make and host my own after using canva to make the images but I am throwing out the call for any pros on here that may have any advice before I make a decision on which way to go and what to use. Thanks in advance.. Cheers Nate
  8. I understand where you are coming from here. I have been a member of both BABO and AIOP but at the end of the day with programs like this I am happy to pay to upgrade as the number one reason I join them is to use the products. If I was only in it to make commissions then I would do the same and try and "earn" my upgrade, but on the other hand if I was joining to use the products/ tools etc I would be happy to pay as I see it just like putting fuel in my car, it is something I need and will use for a purpose. If it meets my need, I will pay an appropriate price as I am not joining for the comp plan first and foremost.
  9. To me it is simple, I had been a member of sites owned by all 3 of you before I ever heard of this forum. Then ONLY one of you scammed me. I then found this forum after speaking with other people who had also been scammed. I remain a member at the sites owned by people who haven't scammed me. Simple really and for me personally, neither you, Darren or this forum had anything to do with me turning against him. I turned against him as a direct result of his theft of my money. Nate
  10. I don't think this is really new, it sounds very much like his "Your Success Advantage" program (the one I was scammed by) with just a bit of a twist or spin. Doesn't look like this guy has done anything actually new in over a decade after reading this forum.
  11. Thanks Fenix, I am no lawyer, but I am told it would be difficult to pursue being from a different country and while I still could and may win, it would be costly in time and money. For me, it hurt at the time, but was not something that broke me and I have (for now) tried to move on and focus on positive projects I am working on. But thanks for the tip and support, I will certainly take a bit of time to look in to this option and see if it is worth the risk / cost.
  12. Yes, my number 1 strategy is to avoid it!! Lol, but in all seriousness I do the same as you and play for a bit of relief from working on my online business from time to time knowing that it is only my free earned BTC I am risking which is cool. I have on the odd time been able to direct funds from this program to my bitcoin wallet to join the odd program or two. I always have it open when surfing etc and click on the hour or close to it. I have hit the top level random roll once in my ~2 years using this service which was about $190 USD at the time.
  13. Yes, they do provide banner and text ads with each matrix purchase and these seem to be displayed at the bottom of the pages within the back office. So while yes, there is a product, I don't believe it will meet the legal requirements of many Country's, certainly not the US and definitely not Australia where I am based. Another reason for my quick back track on this one.
  14. I agree and I do the same, however it is always good to be in the right frame of mind and be careful when doing so as it is very easy to get swept up in the hype and buy a bunch of stuff (or join) that just isn't needed or useful. If I am surfing for credits and not looking for something (info etc) I try and make myself as distracted as possible while I surf by having a movie or something else going on in the background so I have just enough attention to surf properly but am not paying enough attention to be "sold" stuff I don't need!
  15. I will, thanks. I missed this reply. I have been busy offline in the lead up to taking 6 weeks off to get stuck in to online work so I will check it out now I have the time. Thanks Nate
  16. Yes I sure do! I don't bother with the down line builders within all the TEs as I am there to promote what I want to promote. I know I am losing out on a bunch of potential free ad credits from gaining referrals but I feel it is not worth the time. I prefer to prepare and write up traffic strategies and provide these to my team members as a way to help them promote, this is turn can act like a down line builder and take away the need to fill out a million TP down line builders.
  17. 2 dollars or 2 million dollars, you should have been paid any monies owed to you. I understand you are angry and I feel the same about another scammer that is discussed in another post on this forum, however I feel that you should leave politics and nationalities way out of any conversation or accusation. In other words, I stopped caring about the ~2 dollars you have lost once racism became a part of the conversation. Just my 2 cents that this has nothing to do with Australia or China or even Barbarians. A scammer is a scammer and poor customer service is poor customer service entirely independent of race or location.
  18. ok thanks, that is concerning as SOTAM is one of my favourites, hopefully they keep it up and running properly
  19. Hi All, This is not a bump. I am posting this as an apology - I posted my original post above as one of my team members (best team members who brought in 60+ to my AIOP team) asked me to join and her sponsor was my second best team member (who brought in 30+) so I took a chance against my better judgement. I am not stating that globaladvertisement.info is a scam. However, I have had no end of trouble with any form of support. I cycled a few times and the program is confused as to whether to pay me USD or BTC and has paid me a combination of both - $15 USD in one cycle and 0.002766 BTC in another. However it is all credited to my account as USD - meaning I have been credited $15.002766 USD which is entirely incorrect. The owner continues to respond to my support request in a very poorly worded 1 line email stating it will be fixed. It hasn't been. My fault for being swept up by a cycler with no real world value. No one has joined via this thread under me - thankfully. I won't remove this thread or my post as I posted it and well, lesson learned and I face up to my mistakes. So, apologies all, this program is no longer recommended by me. Nate
  20. I'm a bit confused by some of the comments here, but I use HTTPS for all my sites and if a traffic site won't accept it I simply remove the "S" and problem solved, the traffic site allows my site and the page loads to the same place. Unless I am completely missing the point of this thread?
  21. Edit: Please do not join - read my reply to this post. This new program in pre- launch has been recommended to me by one of my highest performing team members for a marketing team build I manage and as they requested I waited a day before posting publicly: Global Advertisers is ready to start pre launch tomorrow with full launch in 10 days They will continue to work on the site, back offices, add more payment processors etc Today you can register and get your positions. You can also bring in some leaders todayas well. These are people that can bring in new members obviously. Tomorrow (Tuesday10th December) starting at 2 PM EST we can start promoting to everyone. This gives ussome time to get leaders placed Make sure they understand we are in pre launch for 10 days so if they see anythingthat needs fixed or can help the program be better, let us know. Including ideas onhow to maximize new member registration for a long time. Owner can be reached atadvertisings.international@gmail.com There is an option for members to purchase positions in both Phase 1, the 1x2straightline and Phase 2 the 2x2 matrix. Positions are $20 each in both Phases Members can choose to just purchase into Phase 1 for $20 and wait until theycycle Phase 1 to get an entry into Phase 2. But as we know company forcedstraightlines can get long, like in Tornado Rising, so it is good to have theoption to get into Phase 2 right away Here is the ink to the comp plan https://globaladvertisement.info/ourplan.php Members can purchase multiple positions and at anytime. For each position theyreceive an advertising package to promote their other businesses on the site They do have big plans for this company so hopefully it all works out well. Theyare looking for a few people to help with working support. They will pay themfor their work. If interested contact the Admin, Jamaini Otto at advertisings.international@gmail.com They are working on some ad copy and banners for promoting and they will bein the back office soon Here is my referral link to get registered. My sponsor is the directly below the owner so you are at the very top. Once registered you will receive an activationemail. Mine went to my Spam so look for that. Once you log in your back officeyou will see a Bitcoin button that will take you to the payment page when youclick on it. Also the Admin's Cash App details are under the Bitcoin button. Ifanyone pays this way they need to send an email with their payment detailsand username to the email address provided Go here to join: EDIT: Link Removed by OP, if you want to try your luck, google it and join under someone else!
  22. Thanks Dave, I appreciate your feedback and thoughts.
  23. I'm torn on this point regarding it being on Frank. I agree that it is important when selling a business to ensure it is sold to a respectable business person as even the reputation of the original owner (seller) can be tarnished by the actions of the new owner. However, on the flip side, Frank, like all business owners is 100% entitled to sell any of his businesses or business assets and once they are sold they are no longer his financial or otherwise responsibility. It appears in this case that Frank has not done anything untoward, all he did was exercise his right to sell a business or asset. I am inclined to place full blame on the owner who is directly responsible for running the business right now and not someone who once owned / ran it. Just my thoughts of course, as this comment certainly got me thinking! Cheers Nate
