Anybody got any good resources for fresh MRR/PLR content. Most of the stores I a used in the past haven't added any new content in ages. I've also seen a lot of subscription sites that promise fresh content with a monthly membership fee. Are any of those any good? Jerry

Can anyone recommend some splash page makers that will host your pages for you. EasyHits4U has a basic one. I think you can host a few pages for free and then pay for more. Wondering if there is anything else out there right now that is similar. Jerry

In need of solid advice
Jerry Iannucci replied to Joel's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
We could tell you... but then we would have to kill you I don't know if there are any real "secrets". Nothing you couldn't figure out on your own with lots of trial and error. My best advice is to remember who you are advertising to by making sure your safelist ads are targeted towards safelist users. I do have an ebook I wrote about safelist marketing. You can download it here: http://www.getrichwithjerry.com/downloads/safelisttactics.htm Hope that helps -
Do you collect the name?
Jerry Iannucci replied to Darren Olander's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I know that when I see my name in the subject of an email it was automatically generated. But seeing my name in the subject always gets my attention more than subjects that don't. Jerry -

I'm totally on board with this too! And I am not just saying that to get the 250 points. Jerry -
I like safelists!
Jerry Iannucci replied to Jerry Iannucci's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I would say use as many safelists as you have time for. Track your results. If a safelist isn't performing as well as the others drop it... or if keep using it if you have the time. -
Let's talk about safelist sites!
Jerry Iannucci replied to paulserban's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
Of course there are a lot of different factors to consider.. but 200+ subscribers a month just from safelists sounds pretty good to me. -

Sorry, I am done with the TE Rat Race
Jerry Iannucci replied to Paula van Dun's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
And the same opportunity to be banned. Having people surf for you violates the terms of most TEs. I'd report him. I'm sure the owner would appreciate you helping to keep his exchange free from cheaters.- 14 replies

What are your favorite mailers and why?
Jerry Iannucci replied to Greg Miller's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
Aren't most mailers geared to marketers? -
Let's talk about safelist sites!
Jerry Iannucci replied to paulserban's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
Unfortunately for you the rules of the site specifically state that misleading subjects like that are not allowed. That's a pretty standard rule on most mailers. -

Splash/Capture Page - Tips/Tricks
Jerry Iannucci replied to Matt Koshko's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
Any recommendations for good splash/capture page designers? -
I checked the other threads and there hasn't been any interesting discussions lately. I suppose I could start one or post a random "I agree!" somewhere... but I wouldn't be doing it for the right reasons. So I am going to come clean. I am only posting this because I want to use the mailer today. There. I said it. If you have nothing to say either but are itching to send your ad... please feel free to share your feelings about it here.

It's not easy. The only people saying it is are trying to sell you something. If it were that easy we would all be rich by now.

Is anybody here with results in etraffic911?
Jerry Iannucci replied to paulserban's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
Bingo! -
I agree with Darren about the standard mailers. Some of the older scripts have this option as a default so I assume most owners just leave it as it is. I think solo mails are great as long as the owner doesn't abuse it. Selling too many solo ads just diminishes the effectiveness of the regular credit emails. If you can earn enough credits in a day from just reading solo ads why bother with the rest?

Like Matt said there are a lot of variables to consider. But generally people surfing a TE are more interested in getting to the next page than stopping to read a giant article that just appeared on their screen. IMHO, it's better to use a splash page (or squeeze page) that catches their attention and opens your blog in a new window that they can read later.

Safelists and Mailers are NOT working
Jerry Iannucci replied to a topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I used safelists successfully for years before I owned one. I get around 100 new sign-ups every month for my site from using the credit mailer on other safelists. When I was using safelists for list building I was getting a lot more than that. People may be more interested in earning credits than looking at your ads but they are still looking. It's your job to figure out how to take advantage of that. I am curious to see the page that someone sent out 200 million emails for with no results. -
Safelists and Mailers are NOT working
Jerry Iannucci replied to a topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I think safelists are very targeted. I use safelists. I also spend a lot of money every month on traffic and other services that are advertised on safelists. Aren't I exactly the type of person you want seeing your ads every day? -
What you promote affects your reputation
Jerry Iannucci replied to Thomas H. Keoppel's topic in Sound-Off
Yes, Nerdbux was a colossal failure. Nobody would deny that. They built one of the most popular sites on the web in an industry they had no business being in and it all came crashing down on them. After watching what it was doing to them personally over the last few months I would have sold it at the first opportunity I had too. Members were being paid until the day they sold it. I suppose it's possible they programmed the script to show real time stats of fake members being paid every day. I bought a lifetime upgrade a month earlier so I did get burned too but unless they were lieing about cheaters (in ptc??) cleaning out their account they lost a lot more than I did. The only other sites I can think of that closed were TE Teams and Sitizens. No big losses there. I just find it hard to believe they would need to run a deliberate scam like that and risk everything while they still have I Love Hits, StartXchange, ThumbVu, Sweeva, CTP, Doctor Traffic, List Nerds, TEList, Trck.me, and Rocket Responder. Are they also scams? Because they have been paying me for years! I might not agree with everything they do but I am not going to be bullied into turning my back on them until I hear both sides of the story.- 17 replies

I just joined Herculist as a paid member
Jerry Iannucci replied to a topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I can't remember the last time I have seen an ad for Herculist. Makes you wonder how many of those 60,000 members joined in the last 10 years -

Before credit mails standard was the only option. Some of the older scripts (like mine) still have the option to send standard mails but there is really no use for it now other than annoying your members.
