Two years ago no mailers had any kind of image verification. It's funny how fast things change

Let's talk about safelist sites!
Jerry Iannucci replied to paulserban's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I've stopped using all of the ones that force you to view ads before you can send. I almost forgot sites were still doing that. My pet peeve is still making me wait exactly 24 hours before I can send again. Makes it almost impossible to submit at the same time every day. -
How drive traffic the people from Fiverr?
Jerry Iannucci replied to paulserban's topic in Techniques & Strategies
I think a lot of that bulk traffic comes from expired domain names. People going to a website that doesn't exist any more and finding your site instead (and quickly leaving because it wasn't they were looking for). I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it was coming from autosurfs too.- 9 replies

Mailers, are they getting you results?
Jerry Iannucci replied to Heath Miles's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
LFMVM = Login Frequency Marketing Viral Mailer. It's a popular commercial script that a lot of mailers run on. -
You will probably find a few in the Safelists, Mailer, Autoresponders section. List Hoopla is a good place to start. I also share stats on my blog if you can find it.

I already have all the paid hosting I need. But if someone didn't have a paid host... is there anything free that you could recommend for someone to maybe host a few html files and maybe a few pdf or zip files? Thanks, Jerry

Twice Confirmed Traffic?
Jerry Iannucci replied to Jerry Iannucci's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
Yes! I was thinking the same thing but couldn't remember the name of the site. Thanks Keith! -
Been seeing this site everywhere lately. What's the deal? It looks like a traffic co-op. Anybody using it?

I follow Darren because you never know when some money might fall out of his pocket.

Involvement in MLMs
Jerry Iannucci replied to Matt Koshko's topic in Affiliate/MLM/Network Marketing
Does TrafficWave count? If so I am in 1. Jerry PS - Should I choose "1" or "1-2"? -
Anything that reads or clicks for you is considered cheating and will eventually get you banned. It's not worth the risk. Software that submits for you is most likely up to the owners discretion. Programs that organizer your mailers and tell you when to send are fine. UltiSend is good. I also like Mailer Ninja because it is so simple. Jerry

What are some good first sentences?
Jerry Iannucci replied to Rudi Vanhaecke's topic in Affiliate/MLM/Network Marketing
The goal of the first sentence is to get them to read the 2nd sentence, then the 3rd, etc. As has already been mentioned... looking at what other people doing and seeing what catches your eye is a great way to start. Curiosity is also a very good motivator. -

Abandoned Safelists/Mailers
Jerry Iannucci replied to Steve Jones's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I always thought it was interesting that he allowed members to post live feedback inside the members area. You could read complaints going back a few months from members about not receiving commissions with no response from the owner. I was actually ready to upgrade until I saw that. Apparently it's harder for some people to manage a mailer than it is for others. Jerry -
The more commissions the better! However I will still promote something with low commissions if it's good, unique, and I can sell a lot of it. It can be discouraging though when you are getting sales left and right and at the end of the month your account only has $10 in it.
-
Whatever the set mailing frequency is for that membership level. So if you are allowed to mail every 3 days then reading 3 days worth of emails would be enough to mail the entire list. I guess this kinda falls apart for sites with long delays between mailings. I don't think anyone would want to read every email for an entire week just to send one of their own.

Commission Payments
Jerry Iannucci replied to Matt Koshko's topic in Affiliate/MLM/Network Marketing
1. 30-60 days is reasonable. I know a lot of companies like to hold payments for 30 days in case of refunds and I am ok with that. 2. I like monthly payments. Less paper work to deal with at the end of the month. 3. Paypal is fine but getting a check in the mail is nice too. -
I just wanted everyone to know this.
