  1. For me, it depends on the ad I'm doing. If its a short one, I'll usually leave the name out (and mine too). If its a bit more conversational, I'll include names. I've seen some people use both first and last name macros in subject line, and even just last name. Its very "in your face", but I always notice them. So from a perspective of drawing attention. I think its worth taking care of what you put in your ads. While its probably true that most don't read their mails, especially in some sites where you can completely bypass the ad and go straight to the link (Unread emails tab), there are some that will open them. Anyone who has the ad text in front of them can get their "eye caught" by some word or phrase. Using bold or small changes in text color or font or highlight can help. and now I'm going off topic a bit, sorry :-)
  2. Fair is fair, yes I agree. I obviously wouldn't complain about higher commission if I'm upgraded. To answer Tommie's question, which I didn't really give my opinion on properly. I think its a smart move by an owner at launch time to have a few top promoters who've been given upgrades as incentives to get a good launch. I'm not sure though if they should be given otherwise.
  3. Its nice when a site pays all its members, upgraded or not, a fair commission percentage. Anyone who is promoting a site is an asset to that site and should be treated accordingly. As Allen says, upgrading for better benefits (not better commissions) is fair.
  4. Merry Christmas everyone
  5. If I like a program that I see and the timing is right, I'll join it irrespective of the sponsor. Unless I know that person to not deserve my sign up. That's why there's more chance of me not joining a program because of a pic than there is of me not joining it because a pic is absent. I admit also that I avoid signing up under "well known faces" who grow big downlines in traffic sites and probably wouldn't even notice my sign up. That's just me, trying to support those who are most likely to support me or who have already done so - picture or no picture.
  6. Well this is it Greg. If only a handful would surf during the day, but none start at reset, or if at any period of one hour during the day all are finished or on a break. Its over for Surf party Never in all the time I've been there, has it been the case that a surf party fails because of one sites inactivity in the surf. Even SOS, when it was having all those problems had people trying 3rd with less than 300 pages surfed, so even the bots can't be bothered?
  7. Hi Ronald, its great to see you here in my favorite forum You're very welcome You're very welcome Tommie
  8. There is an update posted by John in Zubee Talk, in the new topic "Market Place Update". You'll need to be logged in to view it: http://zubeezone.com/members.php?mf=forum&d=p&p=82161
  9. I'd like to update here and also to give my updated opinion on the situation with this James Colbert and his site Stellar Hits. He continues to wreak havoc with members of Zubee Zone, in response to some replies in a thread at the Zubee Zone forum, he send some of us the most disgusting and vile private messages. When I say disgusting and vile, its beyond bad. Personal and vulgur. But that's not all. He's also jumping around CTP teams with the same toxic attitude towards people there - I'm not really into CTP, but this is what people are telling me. About his relationship with Zubee Zone. Some weeks ago, he had a working surf party and zubee games etc, all working fine. He then did something (I suspect during one of his self-destructive episodes) to disable these. He modified his Zubee files. I believe that this was done on purpose, but only someone with his frame of mind could understand why he would do that. He posted hours before the next surf party, that the surf party would not work. So he knew. Since then, he tried to get help to fix these problems. I believe that it was Todd from Orbital Traffic helped him. He then reported that all was fixed and working fine. However when the next surf party was up. His site was swapped out for a different one. This always happens in the case where no dancer is claimed for an hour. Its possible that he messed up the files again. But far more likely that no one surfed his site for that hour and therefore no one claimed a dancer. This is not because of the slow down at Zubee Zone, but because his site has just become that unpopular. Anyway, James has filed payza disputes multiple times and added to the complications that are already plaguing Zubee Zone. IMO. Its a no wonder that John was sick. That man, James Colbert, is toxic in the extreme. I know that he was harassing John multiple times a day with his disgusting filth and disrespect. I advise now, not only to avoid spending money with him, but also to avoid any direct communication with him if it can be avoided. We need to push someone like that out of our industry. He's deeply upset many people and continues to do it. Thanks for reading
  10. You're welcome Greg. Yes, the forum there is a headache at the best of times and it doesn't help that John insists on posting replies instead of opening new topics when his replies are relevant to the membership in general and not just the forum posters. I keep on top of it as best I can. Its kind of my duty to do that for our team, so to post here too hopefully helps keep our other zubee friends equally updated (though I agree, updates are not coming nearly as fast as they should be).
  11. I thought its worth posting this update here too - this was just posted by John Bell in the main forum at ZZ, "Zubee Talk": Its in response to a thread, so I've added the link for that. You'd need to be logged in to get the full thread. Dec 20th, 6:50 AM Sorry everyone I've been sick in bed for going on two weeks, I'm finally getting better and catching up on tickets but I'm still about a week behind. Some tips to get your tickets answered quicker would be to not make additional replies as the queue is based on the date of last response so replying puts it back on the bottom of the list, also creating additional tickets on the same issue just slows down all the other responses, if you have a ticket it will be answered as it was received, there were about 300 when I started working on them today. Hopefully this week I can get all caught up and resume moving forward with all the other lingering problems. I'd certainly like to have the queue completed by Christmas and we can start implementing new changes for all of my businesses in the new year. http://zubeezone.com/members.php?mf=forum&d=p&p=81329
  12. In his newest facebook post he talks of having been sick and now recovering and ready to work on the backlog, I assume mostly taking care of support issues. He seems to think it will take the rest of the year to get up-to-date. Lets hope that's all he needs. Must be a heck of a lot to catch up with. I remain positive for a workable solution early next year.
  13. So true. Your ad is so important. What you promote, and how you present it.
  14. Ideally, one could have a lot of traffic generated by one's referrals in various traffic sites and/or could use viral marketing methods. It doesn't really matter so much if the quality of residual traffic isn't so good. Its when you're paying for, or working for ad views by the number, that quality becomes an issue imo.
  15. She's not finding your account in the database at all Marsha. I'll try to follow up with her, but she seems as confused as we are.
  16. Hi Marsha I left a message for the admin in the chat bar and asked her to look at your account. That was 7 hours ago and she hasn't been there since. I'll check in periodically for a reply though.
  17. Marsha, I did send a ticket to admin there, but no reply yet. You could try to block the website by editing your Hosts File in Windows. I did this to stop the mailer Boxes of Traffic when it kept redirecting me to some junk sites. Only thing is, that I'm not technical enough to know exactly what you would put there in this case. If someone could help with that. We may have your solution. In the meanwhile here's an explanation on editing the host file: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/edit-windows-hosts-file-to-block-redirect-websites/
  18. I think you bring a very interesting perspective and I'm looking forward to your reports. I belong to hundreds of sites, but I use a fraction of them in my marketing. If you find viral mailer marketing works for you, you should consider creating folders for different sites (or categories) and setting emails to go to these, bypassing your inbox
  19. That's awesome Tommie, congratulations Can you tell us a bit more though please. Sorry if I missed a previous post about it
  20. When important stakeholders such as partners, remain proudly confident in Zubee Zone, it helps to reassure some members who might otherwise have left. Have a great weekend too Monika. I see the weekend came early Frank
  21. Hi Stephane As team leader I fulfill many functions related to that. But in truth, I didn't start the team. I just took it over from the original leader over a year ago. To me, the concept of reward doesn't match what we have. More like we help each other when we can. Our team members give a lot more flags than I do Thank you for your comment
  22. Great recommendation Manuela, both for advertising and for earning. $5,99 once off is a very low price for a nice opportunity like this. Thank you for sharing
  23. Yayy, thank you Ray I'm so glad you like it. I've asked Brenton to transfer some coins from my account to yours, so hopefully you'll get them soon and you can add them to your promotions
