Here is a unique motivation. Get caught up in a fraud and try to figure out how you are going to make it all right, You have a choice either to quit of to get pumping so you can correct all that went bad in the scam.

I joined it abut never liked its security setup. It was so adifficult ato ause that I was aalmost ready to leaave it anywaay.

I was doing what I do almost all the time working on my business. I got a phone  call and then I did the stupid, I go scammed.

The guy on the phone related to me and my business. He seemed to be talking truth about my business and who I know. He seemed to understand my business and how you make the internet a good business platform. He kept me on the phone for more than 4 hours. You would think I would recognize that he was as phony as can be.

Everything he said seemed to be reasonable and on target, then he pulled the scam on me. He showed me the money and wanted a license fee to start the transfer process. I should have stopped every thing at that point but no. I went forward and transferred the money, then the phone line was dropped.

From all the info I have there is now no way to make this right and no way to get back the money I put on the line. Talk about a downer this one takes the cake, I plan on working with the various groups which handle scams but I have no illusion of getting back my money or getting the money promised.

I can add information or talk to anyone about what happened but I will leave this at this point.

I did some additional checking and discovered that this problem occurs in FireFox abut not in IE, or Chrome. This is strange anybody know what might be causing this in FireFox.

I found the problem and it turns out the problem was caused by a plugin that my tech people installed into FireFox. It is designed to block certain kinds of ads which are bad but it also blocked my banners. I removed the plugin and will have to do something else if the bad ad comes up again. What I do know is that the ad that came up is phony and a scam now I need to find something else which will catch it in the future.

I am running into a strange when I go to my Safelists, etc... When I go to look at my Banners page it looks like a lot of the Banners are not working. I was surprised when I looked at  My Free Banner Bus to see that I have the same problem there. When I click on the banner it functions exactly as I expect it to but I am not seeing my banner in the list like I should. If I click on the banner I see exactly what I should see.

Here are the questions this raises:

1. Are the banners showing as they should when in normal rotation.
2. Is there a problem on the internet that these don't show in the list.
3. Are the banners performing as they should
4. Is there anything I can do.

I have been seeing this over the last few days and I can't tell if there is any consistency  to what I aan seeing. Some Banners show perfectly and some don't show at all,

 

Anyone else seeing this, Any idea on what is going on.

An update on this...

 

They have started to beta test the site and it is working for seeing videos. For those who have joined, it is in the backoffice under your messages. I am a bit impressed so far. The amount of content is pretty impressive. The site does look a lot like YouTube, but the videos are HD and play pretty well. So there has been some serious work done and some money put into it.

 

Though even if it does start and does pay, it may still end up like Get Paid Social, Tsu, and so many others. A great idea that started out with big promises and ideals and just didn't pan out. Only time will tell...

I took a look at the videos and for the most part they look good. I have watched quite a few of them. Here is the warning I followed one of the links and found myself at a site where they pulled a scam on me. I experienced this link in the past and got in touch with the Geek Squad since I have an account with them and all it took was for them to find the link and remove it. If you are not careful with this link it could cost you big bucks. This is just a warning to beware.

Mine was also AMWAY. I think they are a great MLM but it takes to much to make it work. I still use many of the products and think they are good but pricey and getting people to join with you is a real challenge. I looked at the program when I was a teenager and tried it after I got out of the Army but never made it work.

Let's be honest, you can't take any site serious if they have no legitimate address or do not respond to any emails no matter if they are in the EU, UK, US or on the moon. This one looks like an email fishing system ...

They were making some money from founding members by all looks of it.

My sponsor is getting nicely formated notices from them - he passes them on to me .... sounds a bit strange if you ask me!

I haven't spent any money here yet and don't plan on doing so. I will look at the videos when I have the time but all that they are doing so far is very questionable.

It is mechanically a decent program. It does have a lot to offer BUT I am not sure what is going to happen to it. I bought a lifetime upgrade and was starting to see some income. The owner sent out an email, which I am sure was a segway to the "new" Power Builder system, about the system being old and not upgradeable. It had the effect of scaring a lot of people and then POOF, everyone I signed up left. The new system is a compete mystery and to my understanding, the "lifetime" upgrade I bought is null in the new system. It sounds good, but marketing it without even a hint or seeing it - is well like buying a pig in a poke.

 

They are heavily asking for charter members to a program which has no set release date (or even seen) and want people to still get signups and market the charter membership. I emailed support the week before last about any news on when it will be ready and was told there would be an update Friday. There was an email Tuesday about a new payment option for the charter membership and not much about anything else.

 

I still see it marketed in all the usual places still even today.

 

I just can't do that in good conscious if I can't say it works when it really does exist yet...you know what I mean?

 

So I am just waiting to see what happens at this point. When it actually launches (and it is all they say it will be) - then I will decide what to do at that point.

 

Just my 2 cents...

I would think when someone buys and existing system all prior members would be grandfathered in. The new owner bought the system because of something and you would think the current membership would be part of the reason and as such the new owner would do what they can to keep the members happy not chase them away.

WOW this stinks. I think if you had approached this in a different way you probably would be in good shape and happily making money. The concept you are suggesting sounds a lot like My Free Banner Bus

I am not an owner yet but want to be in the future. I think this question is the wrong question. If you think in terms of building your list instead then Monthly VS Annual VA Lifetime is not important, It you think in terms of list building and turning you list into a money making tool the rest of the question is not important. Hopefully the owners of the sites are thinking beyond the immediate Safelist building and towards building a list worth a lot of money.

Basically safelists are part of a business and maybe an important part of a business but it should be just a part of a business not the hole business.

I think that The safelists that die were viewed as the business not as part of the business. If the owners had no plan to capture the members of the safelist to a separate list then they did themselves a grave disservice.

I hear all the time that the money is in the list and that is all a Safelist really is.

 

  I think the multiple VMP header bars were because the "sender" kept re-entering his newest generated VMP link

Mozilla Firefox still wont allow the Ulti-Send add-on...   

Rererral Frenzy and Mailer Ninja (combined) mailer services handle 200-300 safelists quite well <<<   

 

I use them both and love them, the ULTI process is to complex as far as I am concerned.

What is the cost of the Silver or Platinum upgrade? Is it a monthly fee?

The quick answer is it depends. The reason I put it that way is there may be other things that affect the price. The normal monthly price is $99 and the Platinum is $149. You can get a Silver Show home which is a silver on steroids, this costs $497 for a year, this is a special deal. Also you can get multi-month and multi-year memberships at various price ranges.

I think for what you get this is vary cheap.

The upgrade is from free to Silver or Silver to Platinum. There is no additional charge to the upgrade other than the cost of the Silver or Platinum

I've always been put off by the live agents on the sales pages!

It seems a lot of people are kicking the tires but no one has seen more than the start nothing beyond this yet. I am waiting to see if this works, I hope it isn't a scam.

They went from pre-launch to soft-launch (whatever that means) on July 4th.  I have my free membership locked in and will be watching from the sidelines to see if something actually comes from these guys.  Last time I checked, the Alexa rank was pretty good but a lot of the traffic was coming from Russia. Hmmmm...

Russia does make it very questionable.

There aren't many details being given yet about things like minimum payout, etc. Supposedly as it's still in prelaunch. I know several people (myself included) who have joined because it's free, just on the off-chance that it might be legit, but I'm not promoting it until I see how it pans out...

The general consensus is that it seems Too Good To Be True.

Someone told me about THWGlobal and I have opened an account there, however I think that this might fall into the category of "to good to be true. They promise $25 p/hour and this is where I feel that it falls into the category of "to good to be true.

I know that in marketing on the internet it takes effort and lots of promos. In order to make money you need people to follow you into whatever program you are in. Here they promise $25 p/hour without the effort that other online programs require. Also at the start all your given is 3 Aff links, no promo materials, none of the materials I have grown used to finding when I enter a program, suspecious.

If you have information, etc in this program share it here and I will share my experiences here. Lets see if this is legit or not. Any comments welcome.

Yep, it is true. I found out the hard way the other day. Wish I had had time to come by here and see this BEFORE I screwed up a mailing. There is nothing on the sites to tell you this either. Another bit of knowledge to store in the old head bin for future reference.

 

Along the same lines, if you accidentally add a space before your URL when copying and pasting - it may cause issues with showing your site too.

Regarding the space in the URL the same thing is true if a space follows the url. Some sites will flag the problem before the url is posted, but be careful with spaces both before and after because the site will not work.

I tried worldprofit for awhile, they push you to upgrade and can be merciless about it. Dr. Lantz has a bad habit of being a jerk about it, he is often pushy and arrogant in his comments. I dropped them after awhile and never went back.

Dr Lantz is no longer doing his thing. I have been a member of Worldprofit for close to 7 year and had the same problem. Worldprofit has grown and become more responsive. The rotators they are offering are great and the Silver membership is worth more than anything else available on the internet. Take another look and see if it works for you like it works for me.

As long as it is a Smart Phone. There is a lot of difference between phones both cell and non cell.

The Smart Phone is more a tablet PC then a phone. I have been using these kinds of devices for years now, in fact there was a time when I had a palm pilot which I wished I could make call with. The Smart Phones are the answer to that hope from way beck then. I love having a functioning PC that also doubles as a Phone. Also as a fan of the Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy I am just waiting for the thumb button so I can travel  the galaxy.

Garrett, you can always try and contact the owner, Stanil Dobrev ,  owner does not handle customer service of this product.. as you probably know.. or some of the changes taking place.. I do agree let others decide what mailers they want to keep.. and ones that are not of value to them.. since we are paying for the subscription it would be nice to have it handled this way.. 

 

I stopped promoting this tool long ago.. just because I didn't like the way things were going there..

 

I still use it but it may be on my list of deletion in the near future.. 

I appreciate your response and thanks. I agree that removing SLs due to a perceived nonperformance can be a mistake . Myself I was using SL Genie to help me decide where I was going to invest my dollars and where my memberships would be. Here of late it seems that Nick who is the Admin is removing SLs based on his criteria which to me is a mistake because in some cases I upgraded and felt I used my money wisely then I open SL Genie and find it gone. I think that the admins of the SLs should do a purges not him. I am almost to a place like you where I might also go to the delete level. I don;t want to but I fell that he is making SL Genie less than what it an be to a level where it does not function to the levels it can.
