  1.

It's very frustrating when that happens.  It would be wonderful if the program told us which word was in question, so we could change the script.  Once I had an article rejected because the word sex was embedded inside another word.  It took me 30 minutes to figure it out.

I agree, I have had a few like that happen to me also. The admin of the site is trying to stop junk from getting through but I think there must be a better way of doing it. Even with these block processes being applied junk still gets through.

A challenge for SL Admins find a better process please,

  2. Interesting, I've never ran into this problem when using mailers... I use a lot of mailers and have many different swipes I use, so I'm curious what would be getting blocked?

Your question is why I am interested in this Subject. Some blocked promos look great and I an find no problem with them but the mailer says there is a blocked word on top of that I get no help in identifying what is causing the block. The list of blocked words does not help that much.

  3. In some of the other discussions the problem of block words has come up and I thought that this would be a worth while subject,  maybe even the problem of block url's. I see the need for them but I think there needs to be something that will make this less of a problem and more us a solution.

I have found the problem of blocked words to be very restrictive with very little information about what is causing the problem. I would like to see more information about what is causing a blocked word problem. I find that I have to try to guess what is causing the problem. I don't deal in the adult market or in any of the shadow areas of the market but the blocked words problem thinks my subjects are from that area. When I look at the list of blocked words I see maybe 10 words none of which I am using and no indication as to what is causing the problem.

I would like to see this get to the webmasters of these sites such that they take steps to help me get my message out. It has taken me as much as a half hour to find a message that would work and that is a tremendous waste of my time. I think webmasters can do better than that.

  4. I am a fan of Ad Troopers at least as they were, now I am not so sure. I have my Admiral status but I got it almost 4 years ago, nowadays it seems to be expensive. They do have a membership of more than 15,000 but this blocked word problem makes mailings a problem. I have wasted as much as 30 minutes trying to get a subject that works with their blocked word process and that makes them a big problem in my promotion process. They are not responsive with their membership which makes them a problem in the promotion process. I just wish they would listen and fix the blocked word process. I find myself avoiding sites which use this type of processing, I think they are shooting themselves in the foot with this process.

  5. I recently tried and started using the Bweeble link processor. I would not all it a cloaker perjust just a just say but I like what they have done to make the link more unique. not only can you track links but you can show other information as is your want. I would like to see more of these types of tracker/cloakers from others, more than just we offer a tracker/cloaker for you. I think Bweeble has the right idea.

  6. Yes, reaching as many members as possible is the whole idea.  If you mail to 1000 at a time, and are able to mail to more, then your risking mailing to the same people twice or three times.   :)

Interesting idea, even if the same person is a member of 100 mailers and you send the same message to all 100 in one day that person will probably not realize you are the same person with the same message that day because they are reading the messages for their own reason. This is more a process of numbers over content. They will react to you promo depending on weather you are there at the right time when they are looking for something. That something can be a need to change or an unhappiness with their current situation or you catch their interest. This is one of the reason you should promote often because then you can provide them with what they need when they need it.

  7. Go for SafeList Genie, Referral Frenzy, and Mailer Ninja, these will give you a tremendous boost in your promotions process. With these you can send a promo out to over 300 SafeLists and/or Traffic Exchange in less than 1 hour giving you time to focus on other process involved in your promotion process. For me this is a great way to redeem the time.

  8. My normal practice is to cycle through all my connections at least once a month. In some/many cases I visit the site more than once a month and when I visit the site I mail to the max. I use tools like Referral Frenzy, Mailer Ninja, and SL Genie. This gives me great control over my promos. I have a list of all my connections listed in an Excell Spreadsheet which I sort by date. My process seems to give me the best control over my promos without the fear of any free membership being terminated, Also I upgrade as my finances allow. This is a process which works for me as a result whether I have 1000 or 3000, or 1 day, 3 day, or what I think I am getting the best use of the sites I am a member of.

  9. Ad Troopers just added a Support Mod and through it I was able to connect with them and as a result I was able to reestablish my Admiral Status. They asked for my PayPal receipt which had the payment information on it and when they got it they were happy and corrected my status. I still have a problem and this occurs on other sites as well and that is the blocked word list. They seem to block some things for no valid reason. We are working on it .

  10. Do you give things away to them?

Things like credits, advertising, and (even) money.

Do you periodically share with members of your downline?

If so, what are your objectives for doing so?  Thanks.  :)

Handled correctly your downline becomes like family. You develop a relationship such that they will trust you and as a result they will follow you into new areas and may signup behind you. The saying "The money is in the list" becomes more real as this relationship grows.

  11. I think that a good link cloak-er would be one that uses your main domain as a base and part of the resulting link as well. This would result in being able to track your link and having a short version on the original link as well as your domain being shown in the resulting link, wow that is a lot. I have started using bweeble for some of my cloaking because I like how they build their link with extras included. I think that this area has a lot of room for growth and redo. A good link could do a lot in the promo arena I think. I am curious if anyone is using the new smart url I have see recently, I have been thinking about checking it out to see if it might be good to use.

  12. Seems like they got me listed as a free member.

I am an Admiral there...will have to contact Rick.

I just checked my account and I have the same problem. I mailed something out yesterday and all else seemed to be ok, just that they have a limit of 5000. This may be due to the fact that they list me as free even though I was at the admiral level. I tried to find a place where I could message them about the free vs Admiral problem and could find no path to use. Any suggestions on how to reach the support people at AdTroopers so I can get this cleared up.

Blog marketing is something that all blog owners do. They market their blog so that they can get readers, and make a profit from their blogs. Marketing their blog means to get it out there so that others that are interested in it can find it and read it. It is also a great way to sell things by using affiliate links and programs. Blog marketing can very well become a home business if that is something that you are interested in.

Having a home business by blog marketing would definitely entail that you have more than one blog. If this is something that you are considering, you will want to make a list of markets that your blogs can cover. You will find that your blogs will do best when you only have one market per blog. For example, if you have a blog about cats, you will not want to include anything on the blog about kitchen appliances. This is because the readers that read your blog and visit your blog to learn more about cats and what you have to say about them will not be interested in learning anything about kitchen appliances. Once you have overcome the relevancy issue, you will be ok. You can however, have a blog about pets, and then blog about all of the many pets that you want to include.

In order to make a living by blog marketing, you need to know every aspect of it. You need to know what needs to be done to get readers to your blog, how to write about the things that you are promoting and how to get it up in search engine rankings. Doing so will lead to successful blog marketing and making a home business income with it.

One big aspect of blog marketing is SEO. SEO is search engine optimization and it consists of optimizing your blog so that the search engines will find it and rank it as high as possible. Which also leads to more traffic and leads from your blog. If you do not have time to learn SEO, and apply it to all of your blogs, hiring someone to do this for you might be something that you want to consider. Especially if time is an issue.

Outsourcing much of your work is something that you will need to get used to if you plan on making a substantial amount of money with your blogs. You may want to hire bloggers or writers that can write the content for your blogs, and someone else that can leave comments on other blogs with a link back to yours. Spread out all of the duties on a spread sheet and decide how often each thing needs to be done for each blog. Doing so will help you to be more organized and know what you need to do when, as well as prioritize. Using a spread sheet will also help you to keep track of who is doing what, and keep you from asking more than one person to get one job done.

Blog marketing for a home business is not much different from any other home business. You are going to get out of it what you put into it. If you only put in a couple of hours a week into your blogs, you can not expect to make a full time income with them. However, being consistent and working on your blogs every chance that you get will pay off in the long run. You will also discover that there is no better feeling in the world than owning your own home business, and working for yourself.

Just remember to start small, and work hard. That is all you need to become successful at blog marketing and make the income that you are dreaming of. All of your hard work will pay off if you are persistent and keep it up.

I read through this and would recommend that you publish this as an article somewhere, I know you probably have it published in your blog but I think it would go well in other places where articles are published. It would fit well as a PR in IBOTool Box also,

  14. I think those worried about the limited number of people being reached through a SL or a TE and looking at the process with the wrong purpose. We should be looking at these as ways of building our personnel list not as supporting a SL or a TE. When you send a message out you are trying to get the person reading your message to join your list. When you focus on your own list it doesn't matter weather you are sending to 1 or to 1,000,000 or weather you are sending every day or every 7 days. Your focus is in getting that person to join your list so you can work with them directly.

  15. No, if you put the same banner in more than once and they all have credits assigned you will get more impressions than if you had just one banner. (two banners = twice the impressions) The system is rotating all the banners evenly instead of per account.

That's good to know. I can see the value of more than one, I thought one would get the results of two but I see the flaw in my thinking, I thought that the owners would try to avoid having the same item repeated but I guess not.

  16. Personally I look for the lifetime from a monetary stand point. I think it gives me the best advantage possible, and it also encourages me to promote the SL since I am in for the long haul. The annual model is not bad because it come close to what I perceive in the lifetime model, and do not like the monthly model because the money doesn't always flow the way I want and I want to control closer who it flows.

  17. I would like to add the same banner more than one time. Many sites will not allow that.

I figure if I  earn the credits or have an upgraded account, that I should be able to use the banner more than once!

If I understand SL's correctly instead of putting the same banner in more than once just add credits to the banner, should result in the same thing, in some SL's I have the same banner more than once but that is due to either a mistake on my part or the older version has expired. I think you would want a different banner for the same site instead of the same banner more than once, This is just what I have observed having been in this  for more than 5 years. Those who own SL;s and TE's should chime in here since they have the most knowledge of how these work.

  18. This has been a good conversation, as someone just recommended Mailer Ninja to me. This has helped me understand what it is all about. The first thought about using multiple mailers, was a bit overwhelming for me. I now see how it is meant to bring more convenience. Do I still have to receive tons of emails though?

The key to all this working is that we agree to read the emails. We don't have to read eaach and every one sent to us but at least some,  this is only fair and you get ideas for your future promos.

  19. I use 3 PC 1 a laptop, 1 a desktop, and 1 a 10" tablet and am in the process of putting 10 on the desktop. Will let you know how it behaves in a few days. I sort of have certain process I do on each of these machines daily and the desktop is my primary surfing PC using TE's. The last to update will be my Win 7 laptop machine at least at this time. I will probably do my wife's laptop next whild she is at work. I hope to give a good test of what Win 10 can do in the iNet environment.

  20. I received a call from someone who claimed to be associated with IBO ToolBox, they were claiming that if I worked with them they could get me ranked on the first pages of Google. I tried to pin them down to give me information proving who they were and they could not comply.

I doubt they were with IBO ToolBox and were trying to scam me. Be aware and cautious with this type of call, with all that is going on this type of scam will increase.

The best way to get on Google pages is to work hard and promote.
