The best way that I have found to generate traffic to my sites is to offer FREE or low cost advertising to other marketers.

Why?

Because all (most) markers are looking for ways to generate more traffic to their sites daily.

As I mentioned in another thread, I discovered this by accident.

Guess the kinds of sites that I promote?

I prefer sites that allow me to post 3 up to 100 of my sites on the Affiliate home page that I promote.

See, instead of promoting my sites directly, I promote them indirectly by offering FREE adversiting to others.

I agree that you should be giving away something of value to your target audience that will ad value to them and their business, I have been giving away a free lead capture and all in one sales, marketing and email autoresponder system that can be used to promote any business opportunity online and offline.

 

This system not only allows the prospect to promote their primary business it also allows them to build an email list and if they want to they can also plug the lead capture pages into aweber or get response ontop of the built in email autoresponder that comes with the free system and a whole heap of other goodies like sales funnels, lead capture pages, email autoresponder campaigns all done for you. 

 

and if your leads upgrade for a one off payment of $7 you earn $6 of that in commissions.

The best ways are the most passive ways to me.  I always want to have as much time as possible to develop myself.

There is a slight problem with your strategy. Instead of sending traffic to these kind of pages, you should build a list first. This will allow you to promote your offers to the same people over and over again, without working to do it.

 

As long as they are your list, you can always contact them  and if you offer them real content that can help them, then they will always read your emails.
