Do Rapidly Blinking websites Irritate You?

I do not like opening a site and immediately seeing a bright flashing area of the site. I like to read what the site has to offer and I find a rapidly blinking area to be very irritating.  I have reached a point where I just move on to the next site.

I agree with you, I don't like being treated like one of Pavlov's dogs.

I have had instances where certain speeds and colors give me a mild case of vertigo. I usually don't linger on sites that have this feature.

well some one time animation won't hurt, but blinking, nah, i exit my browser all at once. im in front of the computer for 18 hours and the last thing i want to see is that.

For me, I don’t spend time on sites like that and I won’t promote them either.

i like animations but blinking with looping forever, does not fascinate me at all.
