Do You Still Update Old Blog Posts or Just Keep Publishing New Ones?

I'm just not sure what is more effective in the long run. Some bloggers update older articles with new information regularly and some bloggers only publish new articles weekly.

Which way would you choose and why if you could only take one of the two approaches? Have you seen improved traffic or rankings due to existing post updates?

I prefer updating old posts, especially if they already have traffic or backlinks. Adding fresh information and improving outdated sections can help maintain or improve rankings. I’d focus on updating valuable existing content before publishing too many new posts.
